Ryon has a really smooth system - after seeing pictures of the door he sent me a materials list and instructions. He thoroughly answered all my questions and we scheduled an installation a couple days later. Juan, the installer, met me at Lowe's to pick up the materials and had the door installed less than two hours later. Juan did a great job and Ryon was fantastic to work with. Highly recommend!

It went very well, they always returned my call and answered any questions I had. When they came to do the work they were very professional, did a great job installing the doors, and cleaned up after themselves. I would recommend them to anyone

It went GREAT. First of all, my initial contact was with Ryon Oates, the owner of the company. He explained everything upfront, so there were no surprises. In addition, he gave me an education about door replacements, in general. He was professional, courteous, and prompt. The installer for my job was Max. Let me tell you........Max did a wonderful job! He was on time, pleasant, professional and he knew what he was doing. He checked everything, several times, to make sure everything was okay. He wants to do his job correctly and it showed. I am so satisfied with the work, that I will be calling The Door Guys AGAIN, in the near future to have a storm door installed. I have had my fair share (in the past), of hiring contractors who ripped me off. However, this is NOT the case with this company. I highly recommend them if you are in need of a door replacement. Ryan ( The Door Guy/ Owner) came out to quote install of above. He was on time and very detailed. His price was in line with others, but the others did additional items like paint etc, Ryan does doors!! In the end that's the expertise I wanted as I wanted the new doors hung with excellence. Ryan measured the door openings and coordinated the purchase though a preferred vendor. The doors arrived a little late and there was a error in size (not Ryan's fault). Ryan coordinated the fix with the vendor and it was prompt. The doors were installed on time and one week later I had them painted. Ryan was very detailed in his install. Our home (25 years old) had one door opening that was not square. Ryan brought this to my attention and adjusted his frame 1/4" to fit. He could have simply done it and covered it with caulk and I would have never known. He wanted us to know everything!!! Absolute would use him again - he does one thing - DOORS! If you want doors put in don't hire a guy that does everything ok, and jerry rigs things. Hire Ryan!!

Ryon was great on the phone and scheduling was easy. The installer, Juan, did a great job and went above and beyond what I expected.

Can't speak enough to the professionalism and courtesy of Ryon the owner, very honest, knowledgeable, and prompt to answer/return phone calls. Once it came to the door install itself I really wish Ryan could have been the one to install the door and I am sure this review would have been a total 100%. However, the installer who showed up did an okay job, but was not willing to answer question, or really willing to go the extra mile, it seemed like he just wanted to show up get the job done as soon as possible and get out. His answers to my questions were sarcastic and sometimes rude. Would not recommend that particular installer.

Ryon/ The Door Guys did an excellent job of helping us order a new door, recommended locks and then they installed the door perfectly. It fits exactly as it is supposed to (no leaks anywhere) and we are extremely happy with it. Ryon was even so nice as to come back out to my house (an hour drive out of his way in traffic) when I thought one small detail had been missed. After he arrived, he was able to point out where the detail had not been missed so it was basically an unnecessary added trip for him, however he was very gracious about it! Thank-you Ryon!

The Door Guys were very responsive to my contacts, answered my questions and went the extra mile to ensure the doors were properly installed. They were prompt and the prices are fair, good quality work, I'm very pleased and would highly recommend them. I'll continue to use the Door Guys for all of my "door" needs.

I contacted Ryon via his website ( www.thedoorguys.org) and gave him the measurements and a picture of what I wanted. He got back with me right away and told me how much it would cost to install a new door ($450 + $35 to haul away old door, if desired). He encouraged questions and I had many, as I'd never bought a door before and had a lot to learn. He was very patient and provided me with explanations and options to stay within my budget. Once I decided on the exact door, Ryon sent that information to Johnny D. Clifton at Tri-Supply (where the doors come from) for a quote request. Ryon even included all the minor supplies needed in the quote, so I did not have to go to the hardware store and pick them up myself. The only trip I made was to pick out the door knob and lock. The door cost $1350.00. The door and supplies were delivered to my house within two weeks and Ryon was able to come out the following week to install it. It only took a few hours. He did an excellent job and everything was cleaned up great. I love the door and it's everything I wanted; also love the internal blinds that I initially wasn't sure about getting.

Ryon and his crew were great installing the doors. They were on time & very helpful also ordering these custom doors. Ryon recommended his painter to help finish the doors. We needed a special painter because the doors were fiberglass. After 3 promises to show up & never did, we decided to go with someone else. Ryon needs to dump this guy. He would have received much higher grades if it wasn't for this guy. Update, the painters finally showed up, but the doors were stained too dark. They came back and stripped them and re-stained them. it looks nice now, but they were always late and the place was left a mess after they were done.

The job went excellently. There was the potential for rain in the area so Ryon held off picking up the doors until the weather cleared. He and Juan were very professional in the installation and explained everything to us. They were done in a matter of hours and a few hours later it rained heavily. The timing of installation was perfect.

Ryon and Juan were excellent. Excellent communication and professional work. I was worried that the door wouldn't fit or match. Boy was I wrong. Juan took the extra time to make the door look and fit better than the original. I would definitely hire the Door Guys again and recommend to anyone who wants a professional job done at a very reasonable price. My wife and I could not be happier. Thanks Juan!!

Worked with us to make sure we had our measurements right before ordering custom sized doors to replace the old double doors. Arrived promptly at the scheduled time. Incredibly courteous and friendly. Work completed in under three hours including clean up. Very professional and great results. I would definitely hire them again for replacing other doors.

I ordered a new exterior door from one of the largest "box stores" thinking I would install it myself. Once I picked the door up I discovered it was a prehung door. That was when I decided to search for a door professional. After researching Angies List and reading all of the "A" reviews I was extremely fortunate to have discovered The Door Guys in Crosby, Tx. Best of all they are also located about 3 miles from my home in Crosby. I spoke with Ryan, the owner and he was kind enough to set the appointment over the July 4th holiday. While speaking with Ryan I also explained we were going to need a very large "doggie door" installed into the new door. He said no problem. I told him it was a very large door for a very large dog, our 130# Great Pyrenees. Again, no problem. On the appointed day, Ryan called and said he was on his way. Five minutes later he was here. The door was quite cumbersome so I asked Ryan if I could help him carry it. Again he said, "no problem". He picked it up, unwrapped it and carried it through the backyard to the patio. About 2 hours or so later he was pulling out of the driveway, no sign he was ever here except for our new back door. I can't say enough about the quality and cleanliness of their work. Ryan's "no problem" attitude was quite refreshing to hear and instills confidence in not only the quality of their work but in the event one needs it, his willingness to stand behind his work. We will definitely use Ryan and The Door Guys in the future if the need arises. THANKS DOOR GUYS!

I contacted Ryon to replace solid doors in my office with french doors. I could not find solid 1 pane french doors anywhere in Houston and Ryon referred me to his trusted door manufacturer who made the doors to spec for me - I had to deal with the manufacturer on my own as Ryon only does the installation. The doors were perfect and Ryon and his crew picked up the doors and installed in my home. They arrived at the time promised, the installer had all the proper tools to put on the hinges and install the door. He was very professional, clean and did not leave a mess behind. I will be calling Ryon back when it comes time to replace my front door.

I cannot say enough good things about Ryon and his crew. They find solutions to difficult problems and do a beautiful job installing doors.

Are you a good project manager? If you answer yes, you will enjoy working with this company and you can stop reading now. If you are not, let me give you some learnings. First, realize that the Door Guys do not order your doors, they do not re-finish existing doors and they do not paint your new doors which will come primed only. They also do not source new door knobs, and they do not make sure your keys will work with the new knobs you purchased. They also do not necessarily use the screws that come with the hinges you purchased when you purchase your new doors, they may use their own special screws (which are longer and ensure better quality of work - but may not match the hardware). They also may not put a screw in every hole, for reasons that I do not know. If you don't like seeing black screws when your hardware is nickel, you should discuss which special length screws you need to purchase in addition to everything else you will be purchasing. Now we come to the order of operations. First you will contact the Guys to discuss your project needs. Next you will email them pictures of your doors. Next more emails and maybe a phone conversation. Next Ryon comes to your house to discuss what he will do. He will give you the name of a third party door supply who you can call and email and order everything from. Ryon makes that part easy. Make sure you and Ryon discuss which way your doors open (in or out- left or right). The person supplying your doors needs to know this. Now you wait for the doors and accessories to be delivered. In the mean time, if you intend to buy new door knobs, now is the time. Have the locks keyed to your house key by the supplier (eg Home Depot) if possible at this point, or do it yourself, the Guys don't do this. Now is where I might consider changing the order of operations. Once the doors were delivered I scheduled the install. After the install I scheduled painting. Unfortunately the guy I hired to do the painting and refinishing damaged two of the new sets of hardware. So the change I would consider is to have that step done prior to install. Assuming you have your new doors painted first (and any existing doors refinished), call The Guys to do the install. They do a great job and the doors close perfectly. Exactly what I wanted. Ps, don't forget to re-install your alarm door sensors after all is said and done. Mine don't work now for some reason and I have to pay a service call to have them re-installed.

Ryon is great, very professional throughout the whole process. Very thorough in advising on which doors to buy, and made sure that I understood how he was going to do the installation and pros/cons. Showed up right on time, and finished early. Strongly recommend using him. Prices are reasonable, not the cheapest but after dealing with Home Depot/Lowe's installers, he is definitely worth the marginal extra cost.

The Door Guys wanted the business, they were quick to respond, answer all my questions and even offered several options for me to think about. Very professional and efficient. Workman (Juan) very polite, professional and cleaned up after the job. Awesome, will use again.

We called on Friday and someone was there promptly at 8am Saturday. We had already purchased the doors and materials for the install. Work was completed in about 4 hours, as promised. Our doors look amazing. The work done is excellent.

They are good and they were on time and upfront. I had an issue with the door they installed and they come and fixed it. They are nice people to work. I definitely would use them in the future.

these guys were great! They consulted with me on several occasions on door construction, materials, glass type and efficiency. When the doors were delivered, they came promptly and perfectly installed my doors. I now have four new fiberglass exterior doors with "low e" double pane glass which seem soundproof and insulate the home quite well from the weather. I don't think this project would have gotten done without this service provider. Thanks!I'll use them again for part 2 of the project later this year.

Ryon and his assistant were fantastic to work with. They were very professional courteous, and above all, did a fantastic job. The doors were installed within a few hours. Ryon took the time to explain our new hardware, and provided helpful answers to all questions we had, no matter how silly. I will use them again to install another door in the coming weeks.
