He does wonderful work, he does nice fancy doors, really did a wonderful job.

He comes out and measures and doesn't even respond back. Bad way to do business! Only does jobs if he likes you!

Sent picture of my bathroom door that opened out against a closet door. Wanted to reversed so it opened in. Was quoted $250 and told they could try to use the same trim but I should buy some extra incase the trim was cracked or broke when they pulled it off. (One piece was cracked.) On a Monday, I scheduled with them to come out Saturday at 9:00, The installer called a little before 9 and said he was on the way. Showed up about 10 after with all his tools and everything. We went over what I wanted done, he pointed out the cracked trim piece. He took the trim off, cut the door free from the frame, turned it around, nailed everything back up and caulked. Took about 2 hrs.

This place was fantastic --superior service, excellent communication! I met the installer at Lowe's and he answered all my questions. The door was replaced within a couple of hours with no problems at all. I will definitely use them again!

Ryon was a straight shooter and go down to business the minute I contacted him. He asked for pictures of the work that needed to be done and told me immediately they would do a cut and fit slab for my door. He was very clear upfront on what I needed to purchase (as they do not sell doors), and we scheduled the job promptly within 2 days after I purchased the door. His man was very professional and did a great job. Would hire again for future door jobs.

The doors worked but they were not aligned well and for paying $450.00 I’d expect the doors to be plumb, level and square upon installation. This company was referred to me by a friend and his doors were perfect, mine were not, but they cashed my check alright.

For my type of door job, you specify what work is to be done (e.g. measurements, door type) via communication with the Door Guys (Ryon in my case), purchase the materials that they list based discussions (Lowes or Home Depot) and they carry out the work.

Ryon (the owner) was FANTASTIC to work with. He came out and walked me through not only their installation process, but also alternatives for new doors (e.g. Fiberglass or wood, low-E glass or regular, mini blinds or not, etc.) He was really awesome to work with. Since my doors were a custom size, he worked with me to get doors that were within my budget. As for installation, they arrived on time and completed the entire project in about 2 hours. I was impressed not only with the end product, but also the cleanliness with which they left my home after the installation. If anyone needs new Doors installed, check these guys out!!!

I highly recommend Ryon of "The Door Guys"! I had no experience choosing or replacing doors, but had read positive reviews of this company on Angie's List so I decided to contact him. From the first contact all the way through to the installation, Ryon was responsive, helpful, informative, and professional. He walked me through the process and answered all questions promptly. Because he does not sell doors, only installs them, he can give objective information to let the customer decide what kind of door to order. I was extremely pleased with his service and would definitely recommend and hire him again.

The Door Guys did a great job from start to finish. They took the time to understand the problem I was having, walked me through the process to get a quality storm door on order and all the steps they would take to complete my installation. They did a great job finishing off the storm door. It looks like the storm door was always supposed to be there. The door did allow a little bit of water in during a rainstorm and they worked with me to come out and make adjustments to ensure rain water would no longer get in the door.

Ryon was very fast at returning my initial call. He gave me an estimate via email and was willing to accommodate my schedule for the service. Juan was very professional and fixed my issue.

These guys were great! They were easy to schedule, timely, professional, extremely knowledgable and capable and fast! They had te old door out and the new door in perfect in under two hours! Highest recommend!

I had a couple of disappointing experiences trying to buy the right sized door at a big box store (the folks that work at the store have little to no experience with doors... more on that later), so I decided to look for someone that installed them all the time and ask them what doors worked well and which ones to avoid. I called Ryon (the owner) for advice and he was able to tell me what door measurements I needed based on a few pictures and measurements that I took and sent to him. He also provided some vendor recommendations and ones to steer clear of. After trading a few calls and emails, I narrowed down to a door that would work. After it arrived at the store, Ryon picked it up and brought it my house. He realized the door they sent was a little too wide for my threshold and after a little discussion on my options, I ultimately decided to install it anyway. It turned out fine in the end. But, here's my lesson learned when ordering through these big box stores: make sure you validate the door jam width (along with all the other specs). The folks at the big box stores that I dealt with (several of them) didn't have any training or experience with door installation. And the door jam width is either not clearly shown anywhere or it turned out incorrect in their system. This is the part that no one (Lowes or Home Depot) could seem to get right. I needed 4 9/16" (supposedly a standard size) and everything I kept getting was 5+ inches. The end result was great. Ryon dealt with the door width challenge like a pro and his advice helped me find a solid, well-built and hopefully reliable door. He cleaned up everything and did a great finishing job on the trim pieces both inside and out. I just needed to paint the trim and it looked perfect.

I requested an estimate on a Sunday and received the estimate on Monday. I had some questions for Ryon so I called his # and HE answered (not expecting that in today's world). He answered my questions and I told him I would get back to him. I went out the following week and purchased the materials and called him the following Monday and scheduled the work for Thursday. He told me Max would be doing the work and he would call me when he was on his way. Appointment was for 8 AM and he called at 7:20 saying he would be here in about 20 minutes. He showed up at 7:45 told me it would take him about an hour and a half, two hours at the most. Was finished within the two hours. Everything went very well, as he answered all my questions and was extremely professional and went out of his way to be careful and explain what he was doing and why. I am not easily impressed with service and/or trade people, and both of these people favorably impressed me. I would use them again and have already recommended them to a couple of people. Money well spent.

Two sets of outside doors needed replacing The french doors on our second level were an odd size and needed to be ordered. Ryan recommended a local company and after a bit of research we contracted with this company. Everything went very well. the doors were ordered and delivered on schedule. Ryan stayed in communication with us and with Tri-state...the company making the doors. Ryan also worked with us on an installation date. He and an assistant came on the apppointed date at the scheduled time. They were efficient, cleaned up after the work was done and even gav us some advice about the finish work we needed to do (hiding the nails after painting and the paining itself) Having received several estimates, Door Guys price for the work seemed fair. I would highly recommend.

Ryon provided an estimate which included an itemized list of all materials that were needed to install the doors properly. Additionally, he provided expert advice regarding the best security door replacement that would meet our needs both for security and style. Juan was the installer and was absolutely fabulous! He was very conscientious and polite. Juan also explained certain aspects of the doors as he installed them so that I would have a clear understanding of the operation of the new doors. I will definitely use the services of the Door Guys again as I am planning to replace my front exterior and security doors. The Door Guys are one of the best service contractors I have worked with in Houston.
