Everything went beautifully. There were no hidden suprises. Ryon stayed true to his original quote, and he trimmed out the door on both the inside and outside. Caulked where needed. Installed the hardware for the doors. and had to be the most pleasant contractor I have ever dealt with. He also hauled off the old sliding doors that he removed. If you are needing door work done, you would be insane not to call this guy!

Called for an estimate to replace the front and rear entry doors on our townhouse, as well as the garage entry door. There's also a door to a small closet that holds the garbage cans; this door closes well in winter but not in the summer. Ryon called me back and we spoke at length about what I was looking for and the various options for replacement. He asked me to take some specific photos of each door and was able to provide an estimate to me a day or two later via e-mail. The estimate also included a materials list. As I researched doors for purchase, I went back to Ryon for advice several times. Once purchased, we set up the installation date. On installation day, Ryon's installer, Juan Beltran and his assistant, Martin, called when they were about 20 min away and arrived about 9am. Ryon had planned to stop by but had gotten a call for an emergency job the night before, so he was not there. Juan and Martin got to work on the front door first, since it's on the shady side of the house in the morning. That turned out to be a good choice because once they got the door and frame out, they found that the structure under the frame was completely rotted out, and the raised plywood sheet underneath the interior entryway marble-style tiles was in very bad shape. They took a picture to send to Ryon, and we agreed that some more material would be needed to continue the job. So I ran over to the local hardware store (only a half mile away) to pick up a treated 8-ft 2x6. Juan did an awesome job shoring up the structure so the door could be installed properly, and Ryon decided not to charge for the extra work. The door installs went very well after that, and at the end of the job the 4th door was properly adjusted before I even had a chance to get to that part of the garage. The bill was $700, and I gave Juan and Martin a $70 tip, especially because of their extra work on the front door. The overall job took about five and a half hours, and I was extremely impressed throughout the day with Juan's phenomenal attention to detail and commitment to making sure the doors were installed 100% properly. I'm always wary when I speak with the owner of a company on the phone and get someone else to do the work, but my concerns had completely evaporated within about 10 minutes of working with Juan. He was deliberate, patient, and also clearly committed to mentoring Martin, taking the time to give him the benefit of his experience. Both gentlemen were polite, professional, and friendly, and my wife and I were both very impressed that they engaged our 2-yr old daughter with smiles and respect. Overall, an outstanding experience and I can't recommend The Door Guys enough. My wife and I know exactly who to turn to next time we have any door issues or needs.

Our house is over 100 years old, and due to some settling, two of arts and crafts doors to the backyard were poorly aligned. Ryon was very prompt in answering the phone, instructed me to take some specific pictures of the doors and frame. After looking at the pictures, he called back quickly and scheduled an appointment the next day to come out. He removed all of the trim around the doors, adjusted them so they work perfectly, and then replaced everything so that it looks exactly as it did before he was there...except the doors swing perfectly. Fantastic service and the perfect person to call to work on older homes with extensive renovations that have any sort of door alignment issue!

I found the door guys on Angie's list in May. We were looking to replace windows and part of the replacement would be 3 sliding glass doors. All the bids included sliding glass doors. I thought there has to be something else out there and after finding the Door Guys on Angie's List I reached out and spoke with Ryon Oates. We had a great conversation and he asked me to send him pictures of the doors with easy measurements. This was Memorial day weekend. My husband did not like this idea at all and so I didn't follow up--about a week and half later I heard from Ryon and we scheduled a meeting. He came out-looked at the doors and showed me a picture of a house he had just done. A 4 panel French door and suggested I think about doing something like that. I was sold! He hooked us up with an outside vendor and we ordered the doors. The doors were special order and took about 3 1/2 weeks to arrive. We scheduled with Ryon and he and a partner were out on Friday to put the doors in. They look fantastic. I decided to wait on the windows and start with the doors and I'm so happy I did. And Ryon was great and the only non sales person that offered me something that I didn't think I could get at a great price. My super pessimistic husband was also thrilled. He didn't know who this Door Guy was or why I wanted to try someone out that I didn't know the first thing about. Well, I read pretty much every review on Angie's List and had a good idea of what to expect. If you understand the way The Door Guys do business, only installation, it makes perfect sense. Cut out the middle man and get what you want. Thanks Ryon!

I called Ryon Weds morning in a panic because I had had another person scheduled to install my new doors TWICE and was canceled on TWICE. I had already taken the day off twice to have this other person come out and install my doors. After finding out the second time at last minutes notice that he was not coming, I got on Angies list and found Ryon and all the wonderful reviews. I called him very early, he called me back promplty and I told him my dilema. He was kind, concerned and very knowledgable in what I wanted done. He asked me a series of questions, had me take some measurments, submit some pictures and called me back with a quote. He told me at fist the door I had already purchased was going to be too big for my existing opening. I was SO bummed, I loved the new front door I had picked out and I got it a great price. Ryon came out later that same day to install the back door ( all the while thinking I needed to special order a new front door). When he got to my house he said he could find a way to make the front door work. but he was concerned about it looking aesthetically pleasing to the eye. He said he would do his best, but wanted us to know up front it is not a perfect fit. We said....Go for it! Ryon did it! He was kind, courteous, diligent in his work and had both doors installed in several hours by himself. I am sure Ryon would have preferred to have a helper, especially with the front door, but he knew I had already taken the day off and I think he was really trying to help me out! Well....he did. I cant say enough good things about Ryon. I am one happy happy customer and I am VERY pleased with my new doors and his service! If every business operated this way the world would be a much nicer place! Thank you Ryon!

Work took 2 trips because entry door had to be ordered. Work was completed on time and guys were great at installation. Remember that work does not include finish work as we had to paint trim and doors. Would use again when needed.

Great job by the Door Guys. I ordered the materials from Lowes per their specs, they picked them up and did the work as scheduled. No worries.

Ryon Oates with The Door Guys was professional and sympathetic to my situation following an attempted break in at my home. He scheduled my install sooner than anyone else would do it, his installers were patient, skilled and curteous.

The Door Guys is a company which installs doors. You purchase the doors, they install them. I was overall pleased with their work. Ryon helped me decide which security doors I needed for my front and rear entries, then I purchased them and his installer, Juan, put them on. I also needed an existing door flipped so that it opens outward rather than inward. Juan arrived on time and did a nice job of making that the doors open and close properly (by proper shimming). The only thing I wish would have happened better is that when the security doors were installed, the supporting structure needed to be built outward from the existing door frame, so that my security doors would operate properly in front of my existing entry doors (two doors at each entry). This company installs these security doors all the time, so needing to build the supporting outward is normal fare for them. However, with the build--out, they put a temporary bottom door sill in (made of wood), with the instructions that I will need to construct a permanent sill later on. Now I have to make the cement sill myself. I would rather have had them do it at the time of the install. With fast drying cement, they could have done this as part of the installation procedure. That would have completed the install and I would have been finished with this project. That is why I hired them - to give me a completed project, not one that I need to complete later on.

Very easy preparing for the work with Ryon even though it is only by email and phone to get quote and confirm door specs. At no additional fee, they picked up the doors at Home Depot and was very efficient at coordinating with me even though they ran into problems with the store customer service who could not locate my ordered items. Juan who did the actual install made sure that he got the correct items at the store, made a thorough inspection of the items and always made sure that he checks with me which options I prefer during the installation. He even tells me in advance details on how the door will look after the install compared to the old doors and informs me of options I can do to address any issues on the differences. He made sure the work area is cleaned after the install. They even hauled away my old doors free of charge with a very polite request for a tip for extra services - which I was glad to oblige.

I found The Door Guys very easy to work with. (The Door Guys do door installation, they do not sell doors, nor do they paint them. They install door hardware as part of their service.) When I called them, I set up an appointment with Ryon Oates, the owner, to have someone come and review the requested doors to be replaced and take measurements. His partner Juan came to my home on the specified date 5 minutes early, was very efficient with his and my time and took accurate measurements. He asked if I wanted any changes to the layout (doors opening from opposite direction where practical, and general types of doors on the market) and answered the several questions I had. I then spoke in detail to Ryon on the phone about the various options that were available in terms of construction material, glass options, insulation efficiency of options and materials, brands of doors that he recommended and recommended sources of materials. He provided a verbal quote for the work and there were no other charges other than a request for a small additional amount to haul the old doors away. Ryon was very helpful also during the process of ordering the doors (I chose Bison Building Products's fiberglass "full light" doors with "low E" glass). First he provided an email with the description of the doors and material list that was required, as well as measurements, and he also made himself available to join me on the phone to answer any questions the rep at Bison had.This step took me only twenty minutes to complete the order at Bison, and I left confident that the order was complete and correct.) When the doors were delivered two weeks later to my home I called Ryon to schedule a time for he and his partner Juan to come out and install the doors. Again they arrived 5 minutes early and promptly got to work. They completed the installation of all four doors (one was a two door French door set) in about five hours, including cleanup. (High quality work.) In summary, they were punctual, friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, honest, very accommodating and highly skilled. We are extremely happy with the quality of doors and their work. I certainly recommend The Door Guys for any door installation project you may be contemplating. I felt confident during the entire project, from the first meeting through the several discussions with Ryon, to the actual installation. No surprises at all. I was charged exactly what was verbally agreed to. As their commercial states: "Thank you Angie's List, and thank you Door Guys!"

Ryon answered my call on a Sunday afternoon and had a very streamlined, easy to understand process. With his guidance, I took 4 specific pictures of each door and simply measured the height and width. Very simple. The next day he emailed me exact specifications for each door. All I had to do was decide where I wanted to purchase my doors and pick out a style and color. Easy. I very much appreciated not having to schedule an initial home visit prior to the install. I decided to order from Home Depot and had an exact answer to every question their associate asked me. In hind sight I would have never ordered doors from Home Depot, but Ryon was able to help me calmly navigate through Home Depot's mistakes and short comings. I couldn't have done it without him. He even called the store on my behalf after I'd had enough. My doors came in 2 weeks later. Juan picked them up for me and started his install on time. We had no hiccups during the installation and I was incredibly impressed with his expertise and professionalism. He pointed out a few imperfections in the doors from Home Depot which I was later able to get credit for. The install lasted exactly as long as he said it would and he came prepared. He was friendly, well spoken and an obvious master at his craft. Juan did a great job cleaning up both areas and explaining a few quirks about each door. He also hauled away all the old materials. Together, The Door Guys get two big thumbs up! I'm a picky person. A very picky person... and they did a fantastic job! Thank you Ryon and Juan!

I contacted Ryon by email and he quickly called back. I went to the house and took a series of photos, as requested. I sent the photos and he, again, quickly responded. He then sent a list of needed materials. I had to delay the installation due to a family emergency and he was very understanding. When I returned, I contacted him and set up the actual installation. Juan Beltran was the actual installer. He was quick, prompt, thorough and very professional. I am thinking about replacing the front door and will definitely use them if I decide to go that way.

Ryon was great. He provided us with usefull information on what the best type of doors we should get. He was able to give me all the information over the phone. All I had to do is take some picutures and measurements. He worked with our schedule ...even coming out on a Sunday ...a day they typically don't work. I would (and already have) highly recommend The Door Guys...they did a GREAT job!

Ryon was easy to reach, easy to understand, and based on pictures he asked me to send him (of the problem area) gave me a shopping list of everything I needed to purchase for Juan to install the door. Once I purchased the materials and brought them home, I emailed Ryon who scheduled the door install the following day. Juan removed my old leaking door, prepped the area and installed the new door, sealed it, trimmed it out, and filled the nail holes. He hauled all the debris, including the old door and jamb, away. Juan was really pleasant, friendly, and I was confident that he knew what he was doing. I really appreciated the quality work and quick scheduling. With all the rain we've had recently, it was great to see that there was no leaking beneath or around the door!

Overall, everything was an A.

This was an excellent experience. Ryon was great at communicating with us. There was a mix-up with our order (the customer buys the materials to keep costs low & Ryon does the installation), but Ryon kept our original appointment and came to install our front door & security door. He did not charge more to separate the work, which we greatly appreciated. The quality of work was exceptional, and Ryon is friendly and personable, which always a nice plus!

The Door Guys were great. They helped me order the correct door from Lowe's and then installed the door once it arrived. The were always very responsive and the door looks great. Their rates were extremely reasonable and I will definetly use them again.

I was very happy with the service provided. My repair was not the scale of their normal projects, but Ryon happened to be in the area and was happy to do the job. He showed up exactly when he said he would and charged me exactly what he quoted me over the phone.

Immediate response from Ryon when I first called. Very friendly on the phone. Willing to come out right away to do work; however, delay in door arrival from outside company delayed installation. Ryon worked with them and persisted until all taken care of. Several calls initiated by him, not me, to ensure door ordering was going well. At time of installation, very professional and incredibly efficient. We're very happy with the end result. Would definitely use him again.

While Ryon performs the services of installation and consultation, he does not source the materials, nor paint. That was acceptable for us. I like the idea of purchasing my own materials to avoid unnecessary markups. He turned our dimensions and specs over to Tri-Supply who took the information to build the door. We worked directly with Tri-Supply to get the door delivered. While Tri-Supply was very professional, their supply chain could use some help. It took them four weeks to get the materials (low-E) that I wanted and deliver the door and a couple of delivery reschedules. Not the fault of Door Guys though; I chose that company. The doors were delivered and Ryon came out right away to install them.. The workmanship is extremely well-done and he was without delay once the doors were off the truck. He even showed my wife what kind of paint products to get and how to make the doors really sparkle. They're great, everything closes smoothly. Quotation was dead on as expected. Price here does not reflect door materials, but services to completely re-hang an exterior door with frame, three interior doors, and ball-strikes on four doors, so it wasn't just a single door. Ryon worked on several other doors to adjust them and install ball-strikes that were flaky. I'm so pleased now I don't have to use my shoulder to get my doors open! I've found my door guys! I highly recommend them, and will use them in the future.

I had a very frustrating experience with Home Depot in trying to get new patio doors. They consistently ordered the wrong doors and continuously screwed everytying up. I found Ryon at The Door Guys, he took over, handled everytyhing for me and went above and beyond anything I would have expected. He even fixed a few other items around the house. Such a nice experience after all the frustrations I experienced with Home Depot. I will never use any other door guy again!! Thanks for everything Ryon!
