The electrician that came over was absolutely amazing: Correct and very professional. I can only describe him as old school. Very hard to find these days.

We had a minor electrical problem, Mr. Nesmith tracked the problem quickly and fixed it so fast. Fit us in because of our time constraints, very happy we found him.

A lizard shorted out the outlet outside, so that one needed to be replaced.

We were very pleased. They were prompt and got to the bottom of our problem with a hot water heater. The circuit breaker to the hot water heater was bad and was quickly replaced. We had previously called a plumber who determined the problem was electrical, but then hooked the electrical connection up wrong unbeknownst to us. When we called Mr. Nesmith he had to figure it all out and it was the circuit breaker. He was very nice and polite. We plan to call him again for some other electrical work we need.

My problem appeared to have an easy fix. Replacing the GFCI outlet should have fixed the problem but it didn't. I called and Jessie came out within the hour. He determined one wire was bad but the process of tracking that wire was a nightmare. Jessie stuck with it, though. He was kind, respectful and never complained about the horribly hot conditions in the attic where he spent much of his time. The total job took about 3 hours but he finally found the source of the problem and fixed it. I would definitely call on Nesmith Electrical again for any electrical problems.

Frank was great. He took the time to crawl through the attic with me and explain my house's electrical system (new home owner of an older house). He and his sons performed excellent work. They took the time to do the job right. Frank doesn't cut corners. I've had him back several times to help with other electrical projects.

He had to get in the attic to install the braces for the unit, and widen the whole in the ceiling to accommodate the unit. I purchased the unit from Lowe's online. Unfortunately, after the installation we found out that it was defective. Frank took it out and boxed it up for me to return, and promised to install the new one once we got it - free of charge. Second unit was installed pretty quickly and has caused no problem at all.

Frank did a very good job. He was prompt in responding to my initial call and provided a very competitive estimate within 24 hours. He started the job within the next 48, even providing some additional light fixture options besides those I had purchased. The work was done professionally. He even came on a Saturday to finish up some of the work he thought would be finished on Friday. A minor issue with some drywall was pointed out and a handyman subcontractor was dispatched to perform the repair. We're very pleased with the lighting work.

I had lost a portion of the house circuitry and he, within minutes, figured it out & replaced bad part. VERY professional. Called him again today to schedule more work (preparing house to sell). Will write another report after this work is completed.

The project went with out any problems at a reasonable price and was finished within 24 hours. Frank was very professional and did a very neat and clean install. I will use Nesmith again if needed and highly recommend him to others. I am a very satisfied customer

They did a good job. Only gripe is that they did not clean up the mess they made.

Called Frank one evening a couple of nights ago. We had power to some things in the house but not all. Breakers were fine. Despite the fact that he had never done work for us before and it was after hours, he told us he would be at the house within the next couple of hours. He was true to his word. It turned out to be a partial power outage with the electric company. Frank called and reported it himself to make sure we weren't bounced back and forth between the power company and them telling us we needed to get an electrician. He saw to it that they understood the situation. Our power was fully restored about three hours later. GREAT SERVICE and we are spreading the word. Thanks so much!

Frank updated the electrical capacity in our home. He is professional and communicates well. He has done work for us before, and we appreciate his excellent service .

He was the only one willing to come after 5:00 on a Friday to look at the electric problem. He came and fixed it so that I was not without a stove all week end. He was very professional, nice and very resonable on his cost. I will use Mr. Nesmith from now on....

I bought all supplies and Frank did the installation. Frank was very responsive. He showed up on time and finished the job on time and on budget. Frank is totally laid back and easy going. A very nice person. I have already asked him to do more work for me.

Frank Nesmith installed lights and outlets with convenience of use in mind. He recommended great lighting products! His work (& son's) was neat and quick. Very friendly and polite. I will use him for all my electrical needs!

Frank Nesmith came out & inspected my electrical box, meter box & wiring. He determined that there was corrosion in the meter box and recommended replacing it. He gave me a quote & asked me to call him back in a couple of days to set up a time & date for repairs. I called him several times during the following week. He never returned any phone calls & never returned for repairs.

Let's just say I wish I had put a lot more stock in the negative reviews and a whole lot less on the positive. Very sloppy work. Plugs that were suppose to be hot all the time are only hot when the lights are on, therefore I will have to get someone else to re-do them. Plugs on front of work benches stick out over an inch....another thing that I'm going to have to change. Very poor communication, late show ups, no shows and lots of rescheduling. There was one other issue (the one that was the most crucial one to me) but, I will not mention it on a public site. He left the job unfinished and won't return texts and calls. But, he sure put himself on a very high pedestal. Lots of bragging about his work ethics, people skills and punctuality. UPDATE: To begin with, the price he quoted, in the very beginning, is the price we went with. I did ask him to do a couple more things and he gave me a price to do them and I paid him the extra for doing them. Digging the trench to the shed and greenhouse was included in the original quote so he did nothing extra here?.even though he makes it sound like it was above and beyond. Yes, my funds are limited and now I'm going to have to hire someone else to fix these things and finish what he didn't come back and do. As far as the walk through and ?everything was as I requested??.well, I took him on his word, which turned out to be a mistake on my part. As we walked through he STATED that the ceiling plugs in the shop were all hot all the time and the ones on the front of the bench were not. That is what we agreed upon, however, only one of the ceiling plugs is hot, the one in the middle of the shop. The two above the benches are not hot. The light above the bench has to be on for them to work. I guess I should have plugged something in to check this for myself instead of taking him on his word. He knew from the beginning that the lights I bought were the plug in type. I told him this in the beginning and showed him the light fixtures and explained I wanted it this way in case I ever need to change them that all I had to do was unplug the old and plug the new. There is nothing wrong with the lights I bough. I have checked with another electrician and the sales associate from Lowe?s where I bought the lights and the plugs just simply are not wired properly. As for the plugs sticking out on the front of the workbench, you can see these in the pictures I posted. Who would put sheetrock on the front of a workbench? I do not care about the light fixture. Frank told me it was used and I was ok with that from the beginning (it was just a fixture for the greenhouse). As for the fan bracket he is referring to, it is still wobbly and once again I did not get the ladder and check it before they left. I noticed it afterwards when the fan started wobbling. So that didn?t get fixed properly, even though I paid for it. He was supposed to come back and finish hanging a fan in the bedroom. The fan was defective and I was going to have to get a new one. They did not have time that day for me to go get the new one. Also, they were going to add a plug in my bathroom. So we agreed that they would come back another day and do those two things?.and, since they were extra, we agreed upon a price for them. Several days went by, with the old fan hanging unfinished from the ceiling, and I did not hear from him. I tried to call him, no response and no return call when I left a message. I sent a text and he responded and told me he would get back to me and he never did. And, since he mentioned it, I will respond to the missing hammer. I DID NOT ACCUSE HIM of taking my hammer or anything else. You can read the email message I sent him and see that I merely ask him if it could have gotten mixed up with their tools since they were working in my shop. I posted a picture of it with the other pictures.

I would highly recommend Mr. Nesmeth. He responded promptly for a few small repairs. He was very professional and courteous and completed the work to my satisfaction.

Frank arrived at the scheduled time and worked straight through for 6 hours. He is courteous, professional, and excellent at the job. This is the 2nd time we have used his services. We have already contacted him about a 3rd project next month. Highly recommend Nesmith Electric.

Last night around midnight, our son came from upstairs saying his lights were going off, coming back on, over and over. My husband went up to check things out with him, couldn't figure out what the problem was. First thing this morning I got on Angie's List and found Nesmith Electrical Services, called Frank and he was over in half an hour. He started checking for the problem upstairs in my son's bedroom, checked the loft area, went into the attic checking all outlets, wiring. He then checked the outlets in the dining room, the kitchen and on to the garage. When he checked the outlet in the ceiling of the garage (which the garage door opener was plugged into) he found that the outlet wiring was shorting out and melting the plastic covering around the wiring. The male plug of the garage door opener was already starting to melt on one side. I thank God the this situation happened and I thank Him also for Frank Nesmith. He worked fast, checked out everything possible and replaced the outlet. Had my son's lights not started blinking on and off, we wouldn't have known what was happening and our entire house could have gone up in flames! Thanks, Frank - you are our new electrician!
