Five Brothers Lawn Care and Chimney Sweep

Mike and his crew did a wonderful job on my property. Things were a huge mess and they cleaned things up and cut the overgrown grass, and trimmed the trees and bushes. Fixed a fence that a storm had taken down. Everything was handled professionally and promptly, It was a big job! Now I can enjoy my yard once again. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a quick professional job, they care about their work and making you happy with your project.

It went great! They contacted me shortly after I purchased the Angie's list coupom and scheduled the service within the next week. We had needed our chimney inspected and cleaned for some time. We had a poorly installed gas line and they recommended removing it because 1) it was not done well and 2) we wanted to start burning wood. They did a good job and cleaned up after themselves. I would recommend them.

Excellent service! He explained the cleaning process as he worked, and cleaned behind himself. Our house was sold and the cleaning was a part of the purchase agreement. There were questions about the cleaning weeks later and he was right on it. He contacted the buyer and met with him, answering all his questions and assuring him that he stood behind his work and that the flue was clean and safe for use.

I not only got the estimate over the phone, but they sent pictures via text message, both before and after, of the back yard. Some of those patches of weeds really were out of control. The after pictures look really good though. According to my mom (who's at my house for a few days), they used a riding mower first, then a regular pushed lawn mower, plus weed eating. My family is currently visiting me here in Arizona, and the kids will really appreciate being able to go play in the backyard as soon as they get home. Overall, the service and communication has been excellent. I would definitely recommend these guys, and will most likely arrange for this to be done at my house on a more regular basis ... giving my wife one less thing to worry about.

It?s not every day you come across a lawn service company that sends photos to customers so they can see the results of their hard labor. Yes, Virginia, there is such a thing as taking pride in one?s job. I had been using another lawn service company for over a year, during which time there was a steady decline in responsiveness and quality of workmanship. It had gotten to the point to where I was mostly talking to their voicemail. The last time they came out, they did such a sloppy job, completely missed major sections of the lawn, and didn?t bother with the weed-choked rocks bordering the property. I was already scouting around for another lawn service company when I received a notice from my landlord that our lawn was non-compliant with the terms of our lease and we would be evicted if this was not corrected. Now I was desperate. I joined Angie?s List and came across the rave reviews of 5 Brothers Lawn Care. I visited their website and Facebook page. I was duly impressed, but at the same time I believe actions speak louder than words. I?m happy to report that now I know what all the fuss is about. I explained my situation to Mike. He was personable, knowledgeable, enthusiastic, thoroughly professional. The earliest appointment he had available was five days out. He told me to call my landlord to let him know that 5 Brothers will be working the yard on that day. He immediately sent someone out to do a cost estimate. Well, lo and behold, out of the blue, 5 Brothers arrived two days early and tackled my non-compliant lawn. This was not an easy feat because it?s a gigantic yard, almost an acre, with hills and valleys overgrown with tall grass and weeds that were growing a mile a minute. On top of all that they had to contend with the sloppy-choppy mess left behind by the other lawn service. Then a couple of days later, they trimmed the bank of hedges across the front of the house. While I was at work, Mike sent photos of the hedges to my phone, and I was floored. Beautifully shaped hedges, beautiful job on the lawn, got rid of all the weeds, a total transformation. There?s something about coming home after a long mind-numbing day at work and seeing this jewel of a lawn! Mike and his crew came to the rescue and knocked it out of the ball park, and thanks to their diligence and pride in workmanship, we did not get evicted. Another commendable trait is that Mike responded quickly to e-mails, texts, and phone calls. I plan on using 5 Brothers to continue maintenance on our lawn because they have proven their mettle and the price is right. Kudos, 5 Brothers, and thank you for making us compliant again!

Amazing (as always)! I have used Mike and 5 Brothers Lawn Care for over a year now. They have the basic lawn service, assisted me with tree supporters, completed weed service on our lawn, and redone the mulch in our front garden bed. Mike is very professional, always shows up when he says he will or calls you on the rare occasion he has to re-schedule. I would argue thanks to 5 Brothers Lawn Care, we have one of the best lawns on the block. The pricing given and the estimates are VERY fair, especially since the quality of work is always great. I highly recommend 5 Brothers Lawn Care to everyone in the Fort Hood area.

Contacted them through text and got a prompt response. They had a spot open the next day and said they would do my yard work then. I got a call once they arrived at my home and they gave me the estimate. Then they let me know once they were finished as well as sent me pics. The grass was cut very well, edges trimmed. It was done very professionally. They also informed me of the different methods that they can process payments and made sure that I was satisfied with my service. Very professional job and would definitely recommend them to anyone.

I have called them 3 different times and left messages, but no one has ever called me back.

The guy who owns the company is pretty flexible and the pricing is fair.

We have set 5 Brothers Lawn Care up as our lawn care provider for the 2014 season. They are reasonably priced and willing to work with our huge yard and it's issues! Mike is wonderful. We had some issues with scheduling (my issues, not his) and he was extremely accommodating. He even came out on Saturday to clean the chimney and dryer duct work. He was very prompt and personable. We enjoyed meeting him and his son. We will continue to use 5 Brothers as often as needed.

They arrived on time and were very friendly, moved with speed to clean the chimney, and asked if I wanted them to clean the dryer vent for no extra fee. In the process they noted that ants had packed out one of the drains to my gutters so they cleaned it too. All was handled professionally. I will call them again if I need my chimney cleaned out.

I had cleaning done last year by an Austin company. Very poor job. Smoke was coming in my house. Five Brothers did a very thorough job. Provided me with before and after pictures. Brought grate down off of roof so I could see how caked with soot it was. After cleaning, it sparkled! Very pleasant and polite. We'll worth the money.

We contacted them when we saw a coupon on Angie's list for Chimney inspection, Sweep and Dryer Vent Cleaning for $69. It was the best thing we did, What a great deal they offered. They were very friendly and professional (but not stuffy) from the moment we contacted them. They worked around our schedule. They did a great job cleaning both the dryer vent and the fireplace and explained each of the processes as they did them. I will continue to use their services, without a doubt!
