I had a great experience working with Joe Hernandez from CLC Roofing. The company was very careful about covering my shrubs and pool before beginning their work. I didn't find any nails and/or other roofing materials in my pool and I found very few nails and/or other roofing materials around my house after the work was completed. I had a few questions concerning the completed work that Joe addressed and rectified in a timely manner. CLC roofing also coordinated the replacement of my gutters, which was completed shortly after the roof was done. I would definitely recommend CLC Roofing to anyone who is looking to have their roof and/or gutters replaced. In fact, I will be using CLC Roofing again this year, because due to another severe hailstorm hitting the Coppell area earlier this year, I once again (like many others in the area) need to replace my roof and gutters.

Everything went as the sales consultant told me. I called CLC Roofing. The sales guy called me within an hour of my call. He came out the same day and explain to me all that I wanted to know. The job was set up for the next Saturday. The Sales consultant and the crew arrived at 7am on saturday morning with all of the materials. The finished the total job in approx 5 hours.

Make sure you get all you expected before you make the final payment or it is difficult to get them to follow up on any concerns. I asked for a certain shingle, i.e. color/style. I pointed to the house next door that they had done years before very clearly and choose a certain shingle with a similar color (Colin said they did not have that exact type in stock any longer). When I placed the order, they were there the next morning installing and I had to go to work. I came home & shingles on the roof were a completely different color than what I had ordered (I ordered gray but they installed black). I told Colin this and he was just quiet. SInce it was not a huge deal to me I didn't go further but am still disappointed they installed what seems to have been in stock than what I actually ordered. I don't see how there could have been a misunderstanding as I pointed to the house next door and chose the color. The gutter installers left nails everywhere, very sloppy and have been picking up nails ever since. I told Colin this but there was no follow up. Workmanship seems to be good so far though. I would look other places first before CLC but would not rule out using them again.

From start to finish I have been extremely pleased with the professionalism of CLC Roofing. They answered my calls, returned my messages, and showed up for work on time. I am very pleased in every area with my experience with CLC Roofing. My job keeps me pretty busy so I needed someone I could trust with an important repair to my home and CLC did a great job. I will definitely recommend them highly.

Colin was person I worked with at first (sales person)... work was subcontracted out for paint and guttering. Painters were messy, paint in places that like a child, thin in spots.... I complained about it, didn't want them back, but they said they paid them and to give them another chance. Started working with Matt who is a rep there.... He ended up pulling the two painter's and bringing in another crew. My gutter's were installed.... the seams were put in wrong spots, they were leaking... complained about that and they came out and ripped the new ones installed down and put new ones again. Still leaking, had to have that fixed. the roof venting was put in and on the first night a topper came off one of the stacks, it was a six inch topper on a 4 inch stack!!! Chad is awful with customer service and hands it off to problem solvers which is understandable, but when I am having so many issues, I am ready for someone to step in that will make it right. I was promised by Matt to have a full cover chimney top put on because I wasn't happy with the one they installed. It has space for birds and squirrels to get in!!! He also promised me 5 year warranty on work because of all the trouble I had. I have tried texting and calling him with no response and gave up. Recently we had hail (04-12), keep in mind my roof was done 10-11 (last year). I had two contractor's look at my roof and they said I had more structural damage than I have hail damage!!!! The structural damage is from the roofers walking, sitting, not using a cushion, etc.... My suggestion to you if you have already hired them.... have someone inspect the job before you pay them in full. If you have not hired them, steer clear of these people.

I contacted office since they were local. Salesman came out and said he would do all the work for the amount sent me by the insurer. The insurer had sent out an appraiser and had sent me a check minus the deductible. The saleman asked to call the insurer and to see their paperwork they had sent me before giving me an estimate. I agreed. I told him that I don't like the way some roofing companies "play games" with insurance companies and kick back the deductible to the homeowner through "allowing signs to be displaced" and paying the home owner for allowing the company sign. He agreed, as well he should since he was getting full price from the insurer and I paid the deductible. He did give me a solar powered attic vent for free. He estimated it as a $1,000 "gift". Costco has a similar vent for $350. I asked if the roofers were actual emloyees of CLC and that someone on the crew could speak English. He said they were employees and the crew chief was fluent. No one could effectively speak English and I suspect they were traveling crews that were temporary "employees" of the company. However, I cannot be sure and they did do a good job. The crew was efficient and worked hard all day. They then lay in the front yard to sleep/rest for about 2 hours before starting my neighbors house. They worked 10 to 15 hours that day in extreme heat. The salesman did as he said he would and met time lines that were acceptable considering the number of homes being roofed that Spring. My neighbor did have "issues with the company that I believe were resolved after some accromony. I had recommended the company to her before they actually installed my roof so I helped her with her concerns. I did ask the office manager to call me during the process and she said he would, I did not get a call. Overall acceptable results. Good workmanship and No leaks.

The experience has been great! We talked with another roofing company, but we feel like they weren't as honest as CLC Roofing. The technicians were very trustworthy and always showed up on time. We dealt with Matt, who was very good to deal with. Everything went well overall!

They did a good job overall. Their cost depends on a lot of different factors, but their price was reasonable (we got three different bids). We had originally decided to go with a different roofer, but we weren’t happy with how that was going. I called this company (which wasn’t the lowest-priced bid) and explained to them what was happening. We ended up hiring them for the job. They took care of everything on the insurance side of things, and had a large number of technicians working on the roof at once (about 6 or 8). They had to do our roof over a course of two days, in sections. They took parts of the roof off at a time. That night it was raining, so I texted my contact for the job. It was way after business hours, but he responded and said that everything should’ve been taken care of. He also said to contact him during the night if we heard any water or had any problems at all. Two weeks after the work was done, I noticed a water spot on the ceiling. I called them and they sent someone over right away to inspect the roof and repair the interior of the house. We also had a concern with our gutters. We had just replaced them, and the other company wanted to remove the gutters then reinstall them. CLC said they wouldn’t have to take them off and that they’d just be very careful. It turned out not to be an issue! They were very responsive and easy to deal with. The office staff is very friendly and has great customer service as well!

The experience was very good overall. They’re a local business. They told us exactly what they were going to do before they started, then completed the work. Once the work was done, they cleaned up very well. They did a great job and we’ve had no problems.

It went great. I met with a number of the sales guys at different times to talk about the advantages of different shingles. They showed me colors and they helped me understand this cool pvc thing that they put over my patio. The actual roofers showed up when they were supposed to. They didn't finish in one day, but they cleaned-up enough to make my yard safe for kids. They came back and finished the next day. The salesman came by and checked on the roof and made sure I didn't have any questions or concerns. Insurance didn't replace my gutters, so CLC was careful and you can't even tell that they were touched. They even sent all my final paperwork to my insurance company so I can get the depreciation. My only issue is that roofing is expensive...I guess not CLC's fault. It was a claim with insurance, but it seemed expensive. I didn't have to pay anything more than my deductible, but wow....prices have gone up in 10 years. We have had a couple of big rain storms and there are no leaks. My roof looks great and I don't worry that I need to grab a bucket during the night.

Began very well, worked very hard getting my insurance company to cover cost of replacement. I had to demand that the installers had to come back and redo parts of roof on ridges where it was obvious that shingles formed crooked rather than straight lines, rather than the foreman recognizing the problem. My wireless rain/freeze sensor to my irrigation system was knocked off the roof and never replaced. There was an area where the flashings were not replaced, leaving the joint between exterior wall and the roof vulnerable to water getting inside the wall. After two emails and a visit from the salesman/foreman, several promises to correct the problem, no one has yet to show up and fix the flashing problem or replace my irrigation rain/freeze detector. This is unfortunate since the job was relatively satisfactory, and the cost to correct these issues was low.
