Parrot Head Pool Service

This company has been servicing our pool for the last year or so. It is a salt water pool, and they fail to test the salt water levels, or when they do, they do not apply the proper salt levels. On one occasion, they put too much salt in the pool, which then had to be drained so that they could get it right. Although the pool company did replace the levels, they did not give any type of credit for the water that had to be replaced in the pool. Several times I check the pool after it has been 'serviced' only to find it still dirty, with debris and dirt in the pool. It makes me wonder about the excellent ratings that Parrot Pool receives. I will be changing pool services ASAP. I would not recommend this company at all.

Kenny was great. Very professional and knowledgable. He identified the flame sensor had oxidized, cleaned it and system worked as it should. He also advised on how to replace cracked, faded control keypad.

I have used Parrot Head Pool service several times for both small and large jobs. I am currently getting estimates to re-plaster my pool and Parrot Head Pool service will probably get the work. They are always prompt, professional and take the time to explain what they will do or have done. Very easy to schedule an appointment. In the last 16 years I have tried numerous pool service companies and they have all failed when it came to reliability except for Parrot Head Pool service.

The technician identified a faulty actuator and wires that were switched on the main control panel. He was very helpful in explaining the pool plumbing and valving, which I was confused about. He encouraged me to call him if I had any other questions or concerns, which I did a couple of days later and found very helpful. Very pleasant experience overall; much appreciated.

The actual service was great. The problem was with the scheduling and responsiveness in calling me back. I had purchased the Angie's Deal but when it came time to schedule, I wanted to get pricing on some additional services. It took a while to get a call back and then for someone to come out to see me to discuss options for the additional services (to remove stains from my pool). I was told it would be best to do the stain treatment first and then do the filter cleaning afterwards. Never got anything scheduled for the stain removal as it took forever to get a call back, and so after a month or so, I went ahead and scheduled the filter cleaning. I once thought these guys were great, but service at the office isn't so good. The technicians that come out to the home, however, are great to work with.

It was a simple process. We made one phone call and they showed up the next business day and all work was completed the same day. The service tech was extremely professional and friendly. They are the #1 pool service company in the area!

Mark and his group get an A+ all around. They were completely overbooked for days and I was in a huge bind with trying to finalize the sale of my home. Mark came by after hours on a Friday night and made the fix. Even though it was an easy fix he still went above and beyond to come out and help me out. Highly recommend these guys!

That was very good. The guys were great. They are professional. They are timely. Good experience all around. It's a maintenance package deal.

Even though we were outside of his service area, he came one-time anyway and gave us a "Pool School" course. The course was very good, and empowered me to be able to service my own pool.

Parrot Head Pools did a great job responding to our call quickly and addressing our issues.

Emailed Parrot Head Pool Service through Angies List. The very next day, I had a call back AND a service call. The day after the service call, my new heater was in place. It took longer for the pipe glue to dry than the entire process of arranging for service :-) This company is professional from the first contact. Goes without saying that they are our new go-to company for all things pool! Looking forward to working with them again. I recommend Parrot Head to anyone looking for fast response and great workmanship. This was a no-brainer! FYI, out of 3 pool services that I contacted on Angies List, only two services responded and Parrot Head Pools are the only ones who provide service to the Humble area.

Work completed on time and on budget with excellent quality. Kevin was very responsive to a myriad of questions I had. They arranged for us to view several different Pebble Sheen colors near our home. They also referred us to an excellent stone contractor that repaired our walkway and applied a sealant that really improved the look of our flagstone/sand stone deck.

They’re okay but they do not get back to me if I have any questions or other quotes I want. I wanted them to give me quotes on removing my diving board, and an automatic vacuum and they did not get back to me on a temperature sensor for my pump as well. I have been using them since April 2014. The pool cleaners are helpful, and really nice and sweet. Ben was also informative, pleasant, and has a wealth of information.

The full remodel was a non-event for me and my wife. It went so smoothly and effeciently. I made the mistake of sceduling a party right after we were to finish the remodel. Tommy assured me that they would be able to get us to "swim ready" status by our party and lined out a very detailed plan for me to make me feel comfortable. Parrot Head hit the plan timing on the head. They finished a day before schedule and right on budget!

I'm pretty sure I got them out of Angie's List. They did a good job overall. They were prompt and got the job done in a timely manner. They did something that I wished they had done a little differently but they were good at what I asked them to do.

i paid for the $99.00 bulb & gasket replacement 'big deal." the guy flipped my gfci reset button & left. i got a bill for $95.00. i have tried calling but the phone number listed in their add is not working.

I had used them in the past, but I didn’t have a need for this filter and salt cell.

We have been using their services for about four years off and on for maintenance and repairs. They have been maintaining our pool on a weekly basis for about two years now. We have used their services for repairs twice. One time, it worked out great and other time it didn’t work out so well. I think that they there are a little pricy and we are satisfied with their service. They are dependable on the weekly services.

Pool cleaners are very professional and friendly and keep our pool sparkling. Haven't used for any repairs yet.

They came when they said they would. Diagnosed some issues I had with filter and recommended replacement. Also cleaned my salt cell. No issues. Easy to work with and ask questions on phone.

Everything was completed as discussed. They needed to come back to make one final adjustment.

the service was performed in a timely manner. the technician did the job proficiently and was very professional.

Did well. Took longer than planned. One of his employees took our outside broom and when I complained, I never received it back. Nothing was done about it. For the most part the end results were very good. If I had gotten my pool broom back or its replacement, I would have been more pleased. I also am reluctant to use someone so far away from our address so I could have a better report than I did with the rep. but the price was right with them.
