Great experience. Was able to call and get a quick appointment (Leslie's pool was going to take two weeks to come out). The service man was very courteous and professional and gave some recommendations and then was able to very quickly replace the motor and get things running again. I would recommend them to any needing pool repair and I will be exclusively using them in the future.

Repaired leaking pump and then identified another issue which they fixed at the time as they had the necessary parts.

Worker was on time, knowledgable, and friendly. Mark C. was our service person. He left his cell number, which I had to call after he was done to ask a few questions. They replaced our filter manifold and DE screens. He asked my wife if we wanted the broken items left behind, she said yes, so I was able to look at them and see the defects. I really like when workers do this. Within 24 hours our pool was crystal clear. I will absolutely use Parrot again!!

We have used Parrot Head for years for monthly service & any repairs/maintenance work. Tommy and his staff have always done a wonderful job. I would never consider anyone else for service. I didn't realize until recently that Tommy had expanded into pool remodeling. He sent Kevin out to evaluate our needs and gave us avery rerasonable estimate. All work was done on a timely basis and we are extremely happy with the results. It's like we have a brand new pool.

They called the day after we sent an email requesting a bid, set up a meeting time and arrived promptly. They were very patient, listened carefully, offered advice on the direction we should consider, explained options and committed to get back to us the next morning. Their bid arrived exactly when promised. It was very thorough, very competitive and they could have done the work when we wanted. In the end, we selected another company to do the work because a choice had to be made. Since they were virtually identical bids but would use different suppliers for the pebble plaster, we used that as the basis for our decision.

Called - got answering machine. No returned call. I don't understand businesses that have answering machines. I also don't understand why a business does not call you back, unless they just don't need your business. Update: The company called Angie's list out of concern for my F about not calling back. Someone at Angie's called me to confirm. I had them email me to make sure I was talking to Angie employee. They wanted me to make sure about details and whether I had dialed the correct number, etc. I confirmed (thanks to cell phone log) that all was correct. I am upgrading my rating to "C", however, since the company showed some concern.

Parrot Pool did an extra thorough job pulling off the plaster on our pool prior to resurfacing with PebbleTec. All new coping, waterline tile, and toe tile were installed in a timely and professional manner. Skimmers were cut out and replaced and in-ground plumbing expertly repaired. During start-up, they were especially careful and attentive to our needs. Throughout the whole process they were were highly patient with our long list of questions and requirements.

Everything went very good, the pool now is nice and clear and am happy with the service. Only small problem the tech(Mark) did not put the lock back on the gate. The fence was closed but had no lock on it. I found the lock in the backyard and locked up. Other than that they do a good job.

Left a message and got a call back a short while later. Explained that the pool heater was not working and that the pool pump was REALLY loud. Jay arrived the next day and found the pump was too old (pump was new in 2002) to get replacement parts and had to be replaced. He was able to get the pump replaced and up and running. New pump was REALLY quiet and worked great. He also diagnosed the problem with the heater and had to order the new part. It turns out that since I had not been using the heater for many years, wasps had made a home on the circuit board and rendered it non-operational. Jay gave me his personal cell number in case I had any issues while the part was on order. Jay showed me the exact problem and when the new part was he came right out and replaced it and the heater now works great. he also gave me tips on keeping the heater working as well as general tips on pool maintenance. Great service and will definitely use again when the occasion arises.

Tommy came out to the the house I am in a contract to purchase. Because of the urgency he was there the morning i called him to set up the appointment. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and he took his time to tell me all the options. I would definitely use him in the future for my pool needs.

I speak with the owner and they have great customer service. They are unusually good.

I chose Parrot Head after seeing the amount of reviews on AL, but moreover, purely because of their strong, consistent "A" rating. My wife then called and left a voicemail with her contact info, as she was unable to reach anyone. We then waited almost a full week for someone to return our call, before I chose to pick up the phone and contact them myself. I explained the situation and my desire to begin having my pool serviced weekly to their receptionist, who informed me that the week prior was exceptionally busy, but was otherwise very polite, apologetic and understanding. She also let me know that the owner, Tommy, would likely be calling me sometime soon after he returned to the office later in the day, which he did. Tommy was polite and apologetic as I explained the situation once more, and let me know that they had been having a bit of trouble with their Vonage internet phone system, but that this was far from being a usual occurrence at Parrot Head. After hearing this and after being greeted so warmly by both the receptionist and the owner, I was quickly convinced that this instance of no one returning my wife's call, for whatever reason, was likely just a fluke, and that any further dealings with them would be exhibitive of their "A" rated service. Sadly, after I made the appointment for their technician, Ethan, to come out, he did not come within time of day specified. Tommy had previously said that he would have Ethan make my house his "first call", which I presumed meant sometime before 11:00am. I then made arrangements to come into work late that Monday, and proceeded to wait. I finally gave up and left my home at 11:30, which was thirty minutes later than I had arranged to arrive at work. Needless to say, I was a bit upset. After I got to work, I called their offices and spoke with their receptionist who was, again, polite and understanding as I explained that because Ethan had yet to come out, I wished to cancel my appointment and would be taking my business elsewhere. She again mentioned that Tommy would probably like to speak with me if that was alright, and I replied that this would be fine. Later in the day Tommy called, very apologetic as he quickly stated that he had inadvertantly not informed Ethan to make the change to his schedule, but that I was indeed on the schedule for the day and that he could still have Ethan come out. I let him know that I had already returned to work, and that there would be no one to let the tech in, as my wife was currently sleeping since she works nights. He let me know that I could reschedule for another day, but I told him that after having two negative instances occur before ever having my pool serviced, that I wasn't really comfortable with continuing to move forward with them. He was understanding and let me know that as long as they have an opening, they'd be happy to have me.

Parrot Head Pool Service & Repair were wonderful. The work was fantastic. Our pool is wonderful now, I wish we had it done years ago. The workers knew what they were doing and they got to it and finished the work. They were professional and they asked if we had questions and told us what to do with the pool's maintenance. They were nice and good, I'm glad I used them. They were honest on what we really did need for our pool. Their price was competitive with everybody else and they did it quickly when they said they would.

I was very happy with their service. They came out on time and explained everything. They were prompt. They came out when I needed them. The guy showed me how to clean the filters, so I could do it myself. They repaired and cleaned my pool.

I had an unexpected visitor and called to see if I could get the heater installed earlier than I had originally asked. As usual, Tommy said no problem and Mark was there that week installing my new heater. It works SO much better than my old one! ALL of the guys I've met from Parrot Head have been just wonderful. I can't say enough good things about these guys. Seriously, I had no idea what I was missing as far as customer service until I switched. They actually answer the phone!!! I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for either service, monthly maintenance or both. They are awesome!!

The definition of fabulous is PARROT HEAD POOL SERVICE & REPAIR. The don't try and up sale you, they save you money.

On the first visit the system was obsolete, but he was able to go online, find all three of the boards, install them for me and fix it. So the cost was about half of what it would have been if I'd had to replace them. I think they're pretty good. He's diligent and knows what he's doing. I left a message, he called me right back and we set up an appointment for him to come. It was four days later because he was booked solid at that point. He called ahead of time to let me know he was on his way.

Waiting to see what happens. Have spoken to the Owner and his new manager that promised to take care of my pool. This is why I am reporting their poor service for missing service dates.

Called the company, got Tom the owner. He scheduled me for 4 days later, which was as soon as possible during this busy time of the year. In the mean time, he told me what chemicals to put in my pool while awaiting the service tech visit. He also did a quick diagnostic Q an A that made my pool problem clear. His directions helped me immensely. When Mark arrived, he quickly diagnosed the problem, called in for a new pump and told me when it would be in. Pump is in, pool looking better and I am looking forward to their weekly service.

Thanks Parrot Head pools! After consulting several other pool maintenance companies we were terribly disenchanted. And then we thought of Angie's list and that's where we found Parrot Head pools with the super A+++ rating. We couldn't be happier.

I had a very old DE filter system with cracked valve, a broken pump with leaking hairstrainer, broken booster pump and no chlorination system. Later found out that I also had a bad fuse. Tommy worked with me to get the most for my money and best quality that I needed. We ended up converting to a cartridge system and got 2 new pumps, new plumbing and a chlorinator for a great price. The technician was knowlegable and did great work and went above and beyond by installing a new breaker for me. The pool was crystal clear and bleu within 1 day and it has never looked better.

This is a good company to do business with. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. The technician was personable while professional. He answered questions and offered tips on pool care. He was appreciative of my business.
