Description of Work: "For a temporary solution, Davis Overhead Doors lifted our garage door manually. I was told over the phone that I might hurt myself lifting the garage door, and was discouraged from doing so. It was lifted very easily by Davis Overhead Doors. They used two people, but I had to ask to find out that I could easily do it on my own. This was a simple solution that I should have been advised to try on my own, and was able to do both in front of them, and after they left. | |For a permanent fix Davis's estimate came in high compared to other garage door companies. Rather than simply repairing some broken springs, they wanted to replace the system. This was done by another company with no problems for a fraction of the cost of replacing the system. | |Although, Davis did set up a car remote garage door opener, since they were already there, I felt the value for their work and their estimate for a permanent fix on my garage door work did not meet my expectations."

Description of Work: Technician diagnosed the problem immediately. The master panel was malfunctioning. He had it with him and installed it, balanced my door, adjusting the spring tension. Evaluated the life left in the opener unit, reprogrammed the controllers and was pleasant and professional. Repair took about 20 minutes. I was very satisfied with the service and would do business with this company again.

Description of Work: I DO NOT REMEMBER THE COST. MY CABLE CAME OFF THE ROLLERS ON THE SIDE OF THE DOOR.THEY FIXED MY CABLE AND THEN GREASED MY DOOR.THE SERVICE MAN TOLD ME TO KEEP DOING THAT EACH YEAR. THE CABLE UNFORTUNATELY CAME OFF AGAIN THE NEXT DAY AND THEY CAME RIGHT OUT AGAIN TO RE - DO IT.VERY RESPONSIVE. THIS WAS THE CONROE OFFICE.EACH IS INDIVIDUALLY OWNED AS FAR AS I KNOW.
