Description of Work: Guardian Chimney Sweep cleaned out my dryer vent that was at least 18 feet long. From the moment he introducted himself he got down to business at hand. Checked the back of dryer for lint. Then to outside wall where the outside vent came out of house. Had the sufficient tool to reem out the vent line. (which was dirty) Replaced the vent covers. (installed new ones we had bought). He was in and out within 40 minutes or less. Very professional. Would hire him again.

Description of Work: The gentleman came and started the cleaning of the chimney. When he was finished he was beginning ti pick up. I ask him about the dryer because I had bought that also. They had not put it on his list, but he called the company t o confirm and cleaned my dryer vent, He was very nice and cleaned up the wrok space.

Told me that I would need this done in another two years and thanked me for my business. He showed up exactly on time too. I highly recommend this company.

Description of Work: Cleaned out the dryer vent which ran from the first floor, through the second floor, and then out the roof. Got a boatload of lint and other material removed which had accumulated over 22 years. Cleaned out chimmney which had never been cleaned in the 22 years it had been in existance. However technician says it was very clean to start with. We only fire it up once a year, so hurrah for us. Only problem was the five wasps in the chimmney. Billy quickly and efficiently used his suction hose to get rid of them. I hate wasps. Was a great service experience.

We are very pleased they came at the appointed time, did a great job and cleaned up after they finished. Would recommend them highly.. The price was fair, I certainly wouldn't do it for the price we paid.

Description of Work: This was a coupon special from Angie's List. The company called me (!) promptly to schedule the service appointment. I had both the gutters cleaned and the chimney swept. The owner came out and did a nice job and explained to me the upkeep and maintenance of a chimney since I am a new homeowner. Would definitely recommend as a service provider.

Description of Work: We took advantage of the "Guardian Chimney sweep" coupon special for $89.00 that Angie's List offered last month and scheduled the appointment for today "between 9 am and 10 am" "Billy" showed up at exactly 9:30 am. In addition to the chimney sweeping, my wife also wanted her clothes drier vent system cleaned out and re-located back to the roof, where it originally was before getting too clogged up. Because I can no longer climb up on the roof, I had re-routed the vent tube along the floor and out a hole I cut in the laundry room outside door. Billy immediately went to work starting in the laundry room where he moved the drier and re-attached the vent tube where it originally was before heading to the roof, where he proceeded to unclog the system. Next, he cleaned the chimney, all the while maintaining an extreme degree of neatness and cleanliness. Within an hour Billy was completely through with both jobs and, at my wife's request and no additional cost, went into our attic to look at the drain on the new AC/heater system we had installed a couple of months ago. He offered some very good advice about a couple of problems he noted. I will review the AC/heater installer, "Comfort King",also from Angie's list, once we give the installer a reasonable chance to follow up on his installation and make things right. I can recommend Billy of Guardian Chimney Sweep with absolutely NO reservations and we will be using him on a regular basis.

Description of Work: He cleaned our chimney. He arrived promptly, set up his equipment without asking us to move anything. He worked dilligently & finished quickly. He remarked that our chimney was "quite dirty" & when I replied that's why we needed him, he chuckled. We didn't have many fires last year but perhaps we did the year before (accounting for the dirt). Point is our job may have been tougher than usual but he did it. We used coupon so I didn't get 3 bids, He did the work & I signed for the coupon, there were no extra charges or gimmicks.
