Guardian Chimney Sweep

Description of Work: We purchased an Angie's list deal for a Chimney sweep becasue we had birds in our chimney. They called us to set up the appoitnment. In the interim between the call and the appoitnment, we discovered a leak in the fire place. Most of it was due to storm damage we were unaware of. He promptly made repairs and estiamte was right on the mark.

Description of Work: When I called other companies to clean the vents and air ducts they kept adding on more cost. An example would be the coupon said it only cleaned 10 vents. In our house we have over 20 vents and each vent over 10 would be $15 - $25. Then it would be more money to clean something in the attic. I wanted a total cost for everything. When I called Gruardian they asked the size of my house and then gave me a cost. I, also, asked and got the 5% discount for belonging to Angie's List.The service was prompt, quick and courteous. As far as I can tell he did an good job cleaning the vents and ducts. He, also, cleaned the dryer vent.

He worked in the utility room and in the attic to clean the dryer vent. He was very professional and thorough. He recommended followup in one year. He recommended we replace the flexible duct betwen the dryer and the wall. We took his advice and updated the connection. He cleaned up the debris. He gave us a written summary of his services. We were very pleased with his services.
