Mark Harrington is a real professional (and a U.S. Veteran to boot). He was very attentive and responsive. He did a great job and we were very pleased. I have done this myself before (as well as had it hired out). To do it right, it's a tough job. This was the best one yet. We were even out of town when he did the work; we gave him access and it was done when we got back 3 days later. I priced this out and Mark was the most cost effective by a few hundred dollars. In sum, this guy is first class.

Awesome! Mark called and told me he would put samples in the mail. I received them promptly and made my choice. He was able to start the job very soon and his guys did a great job. They missed a small strip which was outside the garage door. When I pointed it out to him, he told me he would have it fixed promptly. He did and I couldn't be happier! Very professional and he delivered on what he said he'd do. I would highly recommend him and his company.

We called Mark to come and check out our garage as we were interested in getting an epoxy floor. Even though he is based out of Conroe, he does a fair amount of work in Austin so we agreed upon a time to come out. He measured, showed me samples and gave me a rundown of how the process works. His pricing was very competitive, having gotten 2 other quotes. When I scheduled on a Monday, his team was out that next Thursday and Friday. I wasn't even home (my mother let them in) but she said they were quiet and professional. The end product is amazing. The only bad part for me was having to clear out the garage and put everything back! Mark was great and I would highly recommend him to anyone.

This company takes pride in its work. They are very professional and courteous. Mark explained everything before I contracted with him and then followed through just like he said he would. His prep team was very thorough and got things ready for what turned out to be a beautiful new floor. After first washing it with muriatic acid and rinsing with water, they used Bondo to patch the concrete as needed and hand sanded all of the concrete, a big job down on their knees covered in dust masks and head rags. The garage walls are painted off white with brown base boards so we chose Navajo White for the epoxy and Desert Tan flakes which are covered with a clear coat on the second day. It takes two days of work and then three days for everything to dry and cure so a car can be parked on the new floor on the fourth day after the clear coat was applied. They did a good job. He got back to us right away. He was a little late but he apologized so it wasn't a big deal. The floor looks awesome so we were really pleased but he was apologetic. I think he caught with some traffic from Houston or whatever so it's not a big deal. I wasn't going anywhere anyway but he apologized. He followed up with us. He should have charged us more and he kind of rounded down. He was expensive but compared to other guys, we just thought he knew what he was talking about. He was professional. My husband asked him questions and he knew the stuff. He was knowledgeable. When we find someone like that, we rather pay a little more but he took off $100 from the bill. My husband thought it would be $1,700 but he only charged us $1,500 which was substantial. Our deal was we thought we would pay more. He did a good job of cleaning up. I was impressed that he came all the way from Houston which is 3 hours away from us.

Overall experience was great! All communication was by phone. I called, had the process explained, received samples overnight, set a day and time, left my garage doors unlocked for two days, and came home to a beautiful garage floor before I even moved in.

Terrific. Mark started the job a day before rain was called for in order to meet my move-in schedule. We had to wait a day to apply the second coat but the schedule was met and the floor looks perfect. I am very happy with Mark and his guys and recommend them to everyone.

Mark was very accommodating of my schedule, particularly around the holidays. He sent the samples, I chose my colors. I was really happy with the available color combinations. I didn't want that and quot;industrialand quot; man cave look. I really wanted a and quot;homeand quot; feeling. So I got the Navajo White (a light beige/cream color) with the medium tan sprinkles. Believe it or not...it somewhat resembles my beautiful countertop in color combo. I have a new appreciation for the work that goes into epoxying a floor after watching it all. Nearly 3 hours of prep for 3 guys on their hands and knees. And hey...this was a BRAND NEW garage floor (never had a car in it)! Not like a 20 yr old, oil dripped floor. I can't imagine the prep on an old floor! Then, they were brushing the paint on the side areas. It was done very neatly, without extra paint on the drywall. The product stinks! Yeah, I should have known, but I didn't expect it to be that smelly. But the results are so worth it! I've gotten so many compliments on my garage floor...even from the repair folks who go into the attic through the garage. Of course my friends notice and LOVE it. The price is good, the work is good, the results are impressive. I can't complain. I would definitely recommend Mark to others.

I saw Mark's business, Garage Floor Effects, on Angie's list several months ago and emailed him regarding coating our new garage floor when the house was finished. We had an epoxy garage in our home in San Diego and it was one of the things to do for sure iin our new house here in League City, TX. He replied quickly with the approx. cost based on sq. ftg. and explianed the process of what is done. He was kind enough to send me samples of the colors for the epoxy and flecks if I chose to add them. He arrived at the appointed time and proceeded to sweep clean, sand and fill any uneven spots on the floor then put down the epoxy along with the flecks I had chosen. Due to the rain the next day, he could not clear coat it until Wednesday. The floor came out beautiful. I am now having it painted and baseboards put in to give it a more finished look. I would highly recommend Mark if you want to update the look of your garage floor, whether new or old. It makes such a difference and so easy to clean.

The garage floor looks great and is standing up to the foot traffic and car traffic. Mark was on time and completed the job when he said it would be complete. We had a very good overall experience.

I was traveling from out of state for the closing on a property that I had just purchased and needed to have the epoxy coating applied to my garage floor during the brief window that I was in town. Mark and I spoke by phone a couple of times and agreed on a price for the job without actually meeting or Mark having seen the property. The work was done on time, on budget and I was very satisfied with the product and application.
