We are the oldest family owned-and-operated bathtub refinishing company in the Dallas Fort Worth area. We are not a franchise. With every bathtub we refinish or repair, we proudly put our family name behind it because we are meticulous and quality-conscious in everything we do for our customers. By virtue of refinishing nearly every day of the week, all year long for over 44 years, we have perfected the art of bathtub repair and refinishing. Let us show you! Description of Work: We had our 1940 original bathtub refinished by David with Sharp refinishing. The tub looks gorgeous and the quality of the workmanship seems to be top-notch. We had a few snafus getting there, however. David accidentally turned on our shower when he was nearly done with the refinishing, effectively ruining the job he'd already done. He came back out the next day and refinished the tub; it looks wonderful. The guys were very diligent about taping up our entire bathroom, however there were more fumes than we had anticipated initially. We had some slight miscommunication with David on when he would be back to caulk the tub, but when he did come, he did a great job. | |Overall, we would recommend Sharp Refinishing to anyone looking to refinish their old tubs... we just might recommend turning the water to the bathroom off first.

Went great, see above story.
Description of Work: Mr. Sharp showed up on time, taped off the bathroom and went right to work and put layer upon layer of basically a car's paint job on our black cultured marble tub. It looked amazing right away, and has held up solidly for about 10 months now with no problems or bubbles popping up in the paint at all. It's like a brand new tub and saved us TONS of money vs. ripping out the old tub and having it fitted.

It went very well. They gave me an estimate over the phone. They showed up exactly when promised, did a fine job, finished on time, cleaned up after themselves. The price seems somewhat high, but the job requires a lot of equipment; and I had two men working for one whole day, and one man for most of a second day. They brought a portable ducting system with fans to exhaust the chemical odor of the job, which was very helpful. The bathroom sink also required some re-plumbing which hadn't been anticipated, but they did at no additional cost. The job ended up looking really good.
Description of Work: Refinished an old cast-iron porcelain bathtub and a faux-marble bathroom sink and counter. Removed old stopper assemblies and installed new (which we provided). Also, they did some unexpected re-plumbing under the bathroom sink at no charge for the labor.
