Description of Work: JR's Custom Decks installed a large and quite complicated deck in our backyard to replace an old one that needed to go. From our initial contact with JR to the final day of construction, the project went absolutely smoothly and seamlessly. JR himself and all his crew members are really nice people, and the whole group is highly skilled. Our deck involved multiple levels, multiple stairways, and a substantial height. Each part of the deck was fabricated by hand with skill and precision. The support of our new deck is phenomenal - a critical element for us because of the deck's height. The quality of the deck and workmanship far exceeded our wildest expectations, and we are completely delighted with the result. Without reservation we would recommended JR Custom Decks to anyone considering a new deck.

Description of Work: JR replaced my old deck with a new cedar deck. He and his were punctual and professional. They started and finished the job in the time frame that he said he would. One day they could not work due to rain, he called me and let me know that they would not be onsite that day. |

Description of Work: Added a deck onto the back of our house. We used the composite decking for the base, and cedar for the railings. JR came out and gave us an estimate, and a plan for the layout of the deck. We then got 4 more estimates and plans. JR was spot on with his estimate, and was very willing to help us modify his initial plans to some specifications that we wanted. JR's bid was not the lowest, but also not the highest. At the end of the day we went with JR as we felt that he was the most honest and no non-sense of all the companies we dealt with. We were not disappointed! They arrived on time each day, cleaned up well, finished on schedule, and were a pleasure to deal with. The end product is amazing and we couldn't be happier. Payment is not required until the job was complete. We would 100% recommend JR and his company to anyone for any decking needs!!!

Description of Work: JR and his crew built us a cedar deck off of our back patio. The amazing thing was that they did it in one day, in the rain. We couldn't be happier with JR custom decks and highly recommend to anyone.

Description of Work: The deck exceeded expectations. I did part of the design concept, but JR and his team built a deck that will last a very very long time and that has great visual appeal. I do recommend pulling a permit in every instance of home remodel: this protects both you and the builder. City code called for larger trusses than planned but I think the extra cost was worth it.

Description of Work: They added an outstanding deck that was 20' x 31' J R was quick to respond and helped with design ideas and solutions to our project. His recommendation for other services were also great. We are so happy that we called him today to do another small job for us. Our new back yard is going to an oasis for years to come. His price was fair based upon the quality of materials. He was in and out before the time estimated.

J.R. worked with us as we made minor changes both before and during the project. Estimate was exactly what we paid at the end of the project. We would not hesitate to hire this company again. Only regret, we had to spend an entire day cleaning up the job site.
