Description of Work: Yellow Hat inspected a townhouse I anticipated purchasing. They worked with me to find a convenient time for the inspection; arrived on time; and performed an extensive examination of the property. The provided a detailed report of their findings and recommendations. I would not hesitate using their services again.

Description of Work: Complete home inspection including termite, sewer video, infrared, moisture detection, all aspects of the swelling, attic, outdoors, interior, etc. provided very thorough report of findings including color photos and recommendations. Jonathan was awesome and addressed all of our questions on site. He reviewed his findings at a high level after the inspection and We had our rdetailed eport the same night.

Description of Work: Good and thorough but a little on the high side price wise...but worth the investment. We learned the hard way. Used Yellow Hat Inspections for the first home we put an offer on. Based on the inspection findings, we declined b/c EXTENSIVE issues were revealed. For the next property we put an offer on we used GREEN SCENE HOME INSPECTIONS b/c they are less expensive - what a mistake! Though we were informed house was 'deficient' according to current code requirements, we were told the house was none-the-less in exceptional condition with NO MAJOR issues...nothing to be concerned about. To clarify, that would be NO MAJOR issues GREEN SCENE HOME INSPECTIONS identified. Going with GREEN SCENE HOME INSPECTIONS rather than Yellow Hat Home Inspections has cost us in excess of 1/3 of the total price of the house. So yes, I would recommend Yellow Hat Home Inspections. Hind site is 20/20. Pay now or pay later!

Description of Work: We hired Yellow Hat Inspections to do a home maintenance inspection for our home which was getting close to 10 years old. The inspector went from roof to foundation listing all those items that needed repair or replacement. The things he found astonished me and my wife. Many of the problems he found were quick and easy to fix but would have become very expensive if left untended.
