Description of Work: They put humane traps in the attic to see if squirrels were present, inspected the roof and secured all areas that could be used as rodent access points, including a tall oven vent, and returned to check the traps. Although theirs was not the lowest bid, I found them to be more thorough, even leaving me with a detailed drawing of work that needed to be done. Additionally, they were concerned with the humane capture and release of the problematic squirrels. (One well-known company made it very clear they killed any squirrels caught.) Also, their tech did not arrive reeking of tobacco smoke as did another. I have asthma and that is a deal-breaker for me.

+ -1 moreI have used them for twenty years now and have been extremely happy with their service. I used them in my old house before I moved and continued to use them once I moved. They come for free in between service if there is a problem. They are very good to me and I have not had any pest problems while using their service.
Description of Work: They spray the inside and outside of my 2800 square foot house quarterly. They just spray for general pests.

+ -1 moreI had sugar ants in my pantry. I thought I was going to have to empty the entire thing out, but they were able to treat it with little dabs of bait, and the problem was cleared up.
Description of Work: This local company is so service-oriented. When you call you talk to a live person who can answer questions. Technicians are dispatched quickly, and they tell you exactly when they are coming (not the usual 4 hour window). The technicians are always friendly and professional. Prices are reasonable too.

Description of Work: Used them for an initial whole house pest extermination inside and out, and a termite inspection. They are prompt, professional, and thorough. Prices quite reasonable and the technician (Gomey) was very knowledgeable, friendly and did a great job. He found a carpenter ants nest in my sunroom ceiling and treated the nest. Checked carefully for termites and took the time to explain what to watch for. The spray left no odor or residue, never had to leave. Sprayed doorsils, closets, etc for bugs, haven't seen any yet! I signed up for quarterly maintenance service which I think runs about $50. I would recommend them to anyone.

Description of Work: I found large carpenter ants in my house in March. I called Research Pest Control based on rating on Angies list. The company rep came the day I called. After checking around my house he told me that the ants came from outside the house and no work needs to be done. He offered some suggestion to keep this from happening. He did not charge anything. Last year, I called another company for the same problem, I was told the worker needed to go to my attic to do extensive work. I decided not to pursue the project at the time. I am glad I did not.

+ -1 moreThe company is extremely reliable. The company calls with a reminder for quarterly service and works with you to set an appointment. The technicians are always on time and are very pleasant. Work is completed thoroughly and efficiently. I have used this company for over 20 years and would recommend them highly.
Description of Work: The house was exterminated. Each room, window and doorway was sprayed. Closets were opened and sprayed and cabinets in the kitchen were sprayed. The garage was sprayed and granules were spread around the perimeter of the entire house.

The job is done in less than a half hour. The technicians we have used so far have been thorough and extremely polite. There are no insects to be seen after they do this.

They were understanding of our concerns regarding the chemicals in our home and focused only on the one area that the ants had been seen. We have called Research in the past and so far they have been able to eliminate all of our insect problems without being to invasive. This occasion was no different.
Description of Work: Research Pest Control sprayed our property with insecticide. Inside the house the focus was ants.
