Description of Work: Having a computer checked up is a vague concept. We were not having obvious problems other than a slow operating computer. Tech came over and worked for an hour and said we had lots of viruses and that he put in a anti virus program. He explained he cleaned up some of the hard drive but that it needed a major cleanup and that would cost $100 or so. Since then we cannot tell if the computer runs any slower or faster; we opted not to spend the extra money. I cannot give a good or a average evaluation.

The computer, itself, could not be saved, but Brandon downloaded everything on it to another drive for me to save all of my data and software. He kept me informed on the status, expected costs, etc., and after initial contact was made, was very responsive.

+ -1 moreI told Brandon what I had done to the computer in order to try and fix it. he was attentive, and listened to my concerns. I even suggested that I would buy a new video card if it was needed. He did not try to sell me something I did not need. He was fast and thorough and everything was back in proper working order in a jiffy!
Description of Work: I am fairly computer savvy, but a persistent problem on my husband's computer with an ethernet card (after a Windows update that removed the correct driver and replaced it with one that would not work) had me stumped after hours/days of trying to install the correct driver to no avail. My computer was having some minor issues with a monitor acting strange and i was not sure whether it was the video card or monitor going bad. I called Brandon for an estimate and he said it should take about an hour and quoted $65.00. We set an appointment and he arrived on time, and had a very professional attitude. It took him a little over 30 minutes to fix the problem with my husband's computer, and to look at mine and indicated that my monitor was probably going out. Not only that, he told me what he did to fix my husband's computer so I could handle such problems in the future, and that I needed a better video card (for my Photoshop work) when I get a new monitor. I did see a "half off" coupon for this company on Angie's List but didn't even ask about a discount because I felt I received the best possible service at a fantastic price. I very highly recommend this company!

+ -1 moreThey were very earnest young men, but unfortunately my computer isn’t running any better than it did before. So I am not entirely satisfied. Their offer was to do something to my computer to get it running better for a $50 charge. I mentioned another problem and they fixed that. The price was okay.
Description of Work: Capital Tech Support Inc came sometime in July to make my computer run better.

Description of Work: Brandon was very responsive and an excellent communictor. He called back promptly, set an appointment and ran diagnostics to determine what was wrong with my laptop. I thought it just needed a tune up but it had a hardware problem. He suggested that I purchase a new laptop rather than spend the same amount to repair my old one. Great advice and Brandon chose my interests over getting the repair business. Would not hesitate to recommend his work and plan to use him again when needed.

Description of Work: I purchased a computer from a major company with a Raid Array set up. Had problems and after spending endless hours on the phone they could not fix it. Called Capital Tech, set up a time that Brandon could pick up the unit. Arrived on time, took it to his shop, gave me an estimate and corrected an incorrect set up. He charged exactly what he estimated. He then called back twice to make sure everything was working. Very professional, on time could not ask for more. Today my wife's laptop has a problem so I called and set an appointment for him to look at that. Great service.

+ -1 moreI called the company and explained my problem. Brandon sounded professional and knowledgeable and gave me an estimate over the phone. I dropped the computer off at his office and he called two hours later explaining my wife's laptop was ready to be picked up.
Description of Work: My wife's laptop somehow got infected with a virus that my own antivirus didn't pick up. I didn't have time to look at it due to my busy work schedule. A friend recommended this company and it was a great experience. Brandon knew exactly what the virus was and how to remove it. He had the laptop ready for pickup two hours from when I dropped it off. I waited a few days to write the review to make sure the virus was really gone and all the problems had been resolved and they were!

+ -1 moreI called up and talked with one of their guys, they accessed my computer from their location and diagnosed my problems. They picked up my computer, repaired it and delivered it the 2 days later like new. It also looks as if they cleaned everything as well.
Description of Work: They removed all my computer viruses and somehow boosted my computer speed, it feels brand new!
