Kebo Lawn Service LLC

I received a call back from someone claiming to be the owner of the company. She explained that they had gone out of business, and the whole situation hadn't turned out as had been expected, that they couldn't keep reliable workers and she was very sorry about that and had been told by Angie's list that she should have customers contact Angie's list for a refund. I have contacted Angie's list for a refund and have not talked to three different customer service representatives. One told me to look for other comparable services and deals, and then purchase one and they would credit the amount had paid for my unused service with Kebo Lawn Services to my new purchase. There were no comparable deals/services to what I had paid for with Kebo Lawn Services. Additionally, they emailed some more service providers and deals, listing Kebo Lawn Services as a provider after I had already informed Angie's List that the service provider had informed me they had gone out of business and instructed me to contact Angie's List for a refund. As of today, January 27, 2017, Kebo Lawn Service is still shown on Angie's List as a service provider and shown as "Angie's List Certified". Why is Angie's List promoting a service provider with its endorsement of being Certified when they claim they are out of business and advising customers that they should contact Angie's List for a refund? At this point I am demanding a refund from Angie's List for the $99.00 they collected from me for the "Deal". We'll see how that turns out.

Excellent finished job in a timely manner

They stayed only 2 or 3 hours, so I don't know if it was a good deal or not, but they did something. They came from so far away.

All went well. The guys arrived on time and were pleasant. They actually completed the job with time to spare.

Mostly good. My major complaint is they advised me to get large plastic yard bags. The city of fw will not pick them up. I guess Keller will allow. I am now left with large and very heavy bags to. dispose of. Believe they should. check on each city's rules.

Horrible! First they scheduled me without contacting me. When I called to schedule she said she had already set me up for Friday even though I would not be home. I sent photos with detailed instructions of what was needed as requested. When the workers arrived I received a call from them stating no one was here. They had not been told anything on what needed done. Not only did they not do what I requested, they did not inform me of damages they created. They filled my garbage can with clippings right after the city had picked up. I had no where for garbage for one full week. Bushes were not trimmed and bottom beds were not touched. 300 The worst thing is that they cut the electric lines to my yard lights in 3 different places. I have no working lights in my front yard. They never mentioned it. When I emailed Kebo I never received a response from them. My first and last time I will use Angie's List. Do not use Kebo. I bought 2 packages from them and lost $300 plus the costs for damage repairs.

Very well. On time very efficient and very friendly.

If I could separate evaluating the office contact and the work crew, the work crew would get a grade of B. The trouble i had was with the customer service over the phone and making an appointment. The process by which this is done needs to be changed. There was confusion over setting up a time on more than one occasion. I was given a confirmation on Outlook. I waited for them to show but they did not. Once another time was established and they did showed up, the work crew was very good and polite. There needs to be more training for the individual making the appointments or get someone different with more experience and skills in customer service.

Not a single complaint, despite the heavy load, and the 2 gentlemen that came by were such nice guys that I hung out, leant a hand, and had some wonderful conversation with them. They even called twice the day of the service to discuss and then confirm the time they'd be arriving. It was a blessing of an experience.

They worked hard and did what was asked. They showed up extremely and unexpectedly early on a Friday morning so that required adjustments on my part. Apart from that, no issues.

I was satisfied. He brought some helper, he was working and the helper was smoking. I think the owner was doing all the work. He really did work me in. The arrival he gets an A. He should know he was supposed to be here for 3 hours and not just 2 1/2 hours. Just cutting it short. I will have to pinpoint it as needs to be done. That I would expect from somebody who owns the landscaping and that was cleaning up there was nothing new on landscaping. It was the clean up the back yard. I would expected to have a more eye opening for clean up. It was mainly our roses bushes to be taken out. I would have to come back and say you missed here, or here, oh there's one more here. I shouldn't do that. I was expecting him to take all the rose bushes out and let him take the responsibility. Overall, the owner, I was satisfied. I just didn't realize I would have to literally show it to him. Like here, here is one more bush. It was not here and there, it was one line.

I ended up going through and filling up the form that they sent for me to do and then I had to call the vendor back three or four weeks later saying, "Hey guys, you guys never showed up on the times I picked. You never contacted me saying these times wouldn't work, what's the deal?" Then they ended up coming out while I was not in town and they didn't do all of the work I asked them to, which was trim the trees off of my house as part of it. When I talked to the owner or whoever did the yard work for me, he said, "Oh, we don't get on houses." I said, "Why didn't somebody tell me that when I told them I need the limbs cut off my house. I need this done, this done and this done and nobody said anything about that's not going to be covered. That was one of the main reasons I purchased your package," and they were just like, "Well, we can talk to somebody else about them coming out and talking to you about getting it done," but they never made it right. They did everything except cut the limbs off my house, which was one of the main reasons I purchased their package. I purchased two of those, so it was almost $200 said and done. That was the only charge. They tried to get me to hire somebody else to do the limbs through them but I wasn't going to do that because that was not what I was trying to do. I was trying to get them to do it through the package I had purchased since their package said nothing about if they need a ladder they're not going to do it. The work they did was well done, it just was not what I purchased the package for. They were slow to respond and sometimes they didn't respond till I prompted them to. If a family member or a neighbor was considering working with the provider, I would want them to spell out exactly everything they want done before considering buying the package. They should call the company and tell them, "This is what I want done, this is what I mean by that," to make sure that they will do it. The price was awesome. I would use them for the work that they actually did, but why I hired them was for more than they were willing to do.

When they arrived, it was a two (2) man crew so I received 2 hours of work. They did a very good job but I guess they needed more time to trim all of the bushes on the right side of the house because one (1) bush in the front right was not trimmed back and one (1) bush on the right side of the house was not trimmed. Overall the quality of the work was excellent.

They worked fast and efficiently, would definitely hire again.

The initial scheduling was further off than I desired when purchasing the special, but the workers showed up as scheduled and did a great job in cleaning up the weeds from my flowerbed while leaving the desired ground cover intact.

Did not respond for over a month after a deal purchase. Didn't show up for a scheduled appointment.

Very sloppy job. No edging at all. Mulch and grass all run together. Overall appearance after the job was completed was a real mess. Day care kids would have done a better job. A real waste of money.

The Kebo crew arrived ahead of schedule, hit the ground running and did a fantastic job, I was extremely satisfied with the quality of their work, will definitely use them again and highly recommend them for your yard as well
