Description of Work: For over 20 years, I've had them check my home's AC/Heat twice a year. They installed a brand-new AC unit one time. They've done other repairs. They've come to the house during emergencies. Very dependable and trustworth.

Description of Work: I believe it was back in early summer of 98, I came home from work after 6pm and when I walked in the door I could smell burning wires coming from my downstairs A/C . I immediately shut off the the breaker, grabbed the phone book, and call the nearest A/C Co. to my house which was Ellis. He arrived in no time, and could tell I was very worried and upset. He kept reassuring me that everything was going to be alright. In the end it needed to be replaced, he never charged me for that service charge even though it was after hours, and was here until after 10pm. Always can be depended on with great service, and professionalism.

Description of Work: We were concerned that one of our thermostats was not reliable. The service call was to look at all of the heating in the house and they did that as well as check thermostats. They suggested that we not replace it yet since it was working so it saved us money. We also signed up for the A/C review. We like working with the company and their technicians and we think they are very reliable and professional.

Description of Work: Annual check of heating/AC. I've used Ellis for 20 years and would have to be in dire straights to use someone else. Ellis has installed new units for me and assisted me on an emergency basis. They look out for me as a customer, letting me know about potential issues. They have never tried to pressure me into unneeded repairs or service. I trust their judgment and advice.

+ -1 moreThe guys showed up right when they said they would. We all sat down and they explained the entire procedure. They were very organized in the way they went installing the new unit and even replaced the old wires connecting to it. They also did a very good job of cleaning up so I didn't have to.
Description of Work: The contractor removed my old air conditioning unit and replaced it with a new Carrier High Efficiency unit which was big enough to cool my 2-story, 2,300 square foot home. They finished the work in about 3 hours.

+ -1 moreI suspected I had a hole in one of my ducts when for 2 days I had wasps come from that area. I called that afternoon of the 2nd wasp sighting and they were able to send someone the next day. Frank arrived and was extremely polite and helpful. He checked the duct I suspected and said it was fully intact along with my other ducts. He explained to me the layers involved in securing a duct and he even talked about some other issues I had along with questions. He was very eager to answer my questions while making sure I understood. He explained if a wasp got in the system it wouldn't survive to come out of a duct. With my ducts being sealed that is. When I need work on my unit I won't hesitate to call them again. I still don't know where those pesky wasps came from. :/
