Description of Work: The outside a/c condenser. The work was completed as agreed. I have used Ellis for a few years for routine maintenance and a couple of years ago they we placed my a/c coil inside to be compatible with update done this year. I have always found their service to competitively price. Their work done as agreed and overall professional. I do plan to continue working with them as my provide of service.

Description of Work: They replaced one of my heat pumps when the compressor failed. They have been my HVAC company since I purchased my house. They are very prompt and easy to reach. Their personnel are down to earth and very cordial.

Description of Work: I have used Ellis Air for probably 10 years. They are almost always on time, and will call if they are running late. They come to my house twice a year to check all 4 of my systems. Usually the same person comes every time so that I don't have to show them around. When a repair is needed, they are honest and let me know if it is an absolute necessity or just suggested repair. I am very happy with Ellis and would recommend them to anyone.

Description of Work: I replaced my still working 35 year old Trane with another Trane. I did extensive research and got several estimates. Ellis gave me what I wanted for the best price. The installation went great and I love the new system. | |The only issue I had was after a few weeks the unit stopped working. Of course it was on a Saturday. I called for repair and the recording advised me they did not do warranty work on weekends. I left a message anyway but no one called back. Thank goodness I figured out I could turn it completely off, then back on. It would then work for a while, at least long enough to cool down a little. They did come right out on Monday and replaced the thermostat. Since then I haven't had any problems. | |Ellis' website says they make after hours service calls and provide same day service on MOST service calls. Had I known in advance they did not honor their warranty on weekends, I might have selected another company. I looked specifically for one that worked weekends. Their 5-year warranty on parts and labor was a major deciding factor for me. They do need to revise their warranty policy. I paid over $6000 for AC, and I expect it to work even on weekends. | |I hope this is not seen as a negative review, quite the opposite, in fact. It is simply my experience. All the employees I encountered were professional. The installers left everything clean. Jerry answered a million questions for me over an extended period. I never felt pressured. All in all, I would recommend Ellis to anyone. In fact, I referred a friend and they replaced her unit as well. |
