Response from Air Medic AC & Heating
[member name removed] It h been a year since we installed your AC , after our installation we advised you about your drain line it is connected to your master bathroom sink, We informed you to monitor everything that went into the bathroom sink and to add bleach to the primary drain line up in the attic and to follow up with the filters. When you called about the water damage , we rushed immediately to your home only to find out that there was sediment in your sink, this was the cause of your water damage, not being our fault we agreed to pay for any water damages your AC CAUSED, our drywall contractor was there with us assessing the damages, Dominik agreed to do the repairs and you even said that you would call us once the drywall was dried up, your husband told us that you were a bit emotional but that he would call us for the repairs. This episode with water has happened before we did any work, I showed [member name removed] of previous water stains in the attic floor and on the original secondary drain pan, the pan had at least two water marks. 12 months later all we get is a bad review and not given the opportunity to make repairs This is a perfect example of home owners defame good contractors by not following on simple tasks such as changing air filters ,adding bleach down the main drain and keeping grass away from ac unit outside. Overseeing the little things can impact systems performance, efficiency and like in this case water damage, since the contractor was the last person there we will be always be the ones to blame.
