The price was reasonable. He was pretty thorough and he did a good job of the cleaning our vent. He's very pleasant. I would use him again in the future.

I had bought a new house and he cleaned the chimney and the dryer vent. He re-arranged the stones in the chimney and now it looks really nice. He also cleaned the dryer vent which was full of cat hair (the previous house owner had 4 cats). This was the second time I called him; he also worked on the chimney of my previous house and did a very good job.

the fireplace is clean although again, my main problem was the dead squirrel. So I have a clean fireplace (which I didn't particularly think was dirty) and still had flys coming in all the time through the fireplace due to the squirrel. Honestly my main problem with this gentleman was that he rambled on and on and just kept talking. I told him I had to go to an appt. but my lord, he just kept talking and just looked a bit not too professional. He had on a top hat with raggedy clothes. I guess he was trying to appear and quot;Englishand quot;? Just seemed a bit strange.

Everything went very well. Friendly, courteous, right on the mark with estimate. Several families in my neighborhood also use them and are very happy. I have nothing bad to add, and that should say something.

After having him clean our chimney, we had Tim back out to install a set of gas logs. As before, he was very punctual. Also very friendly as he worked. He came in, got the logs installed and we are absolutely thrilled with them. Great business man who knows how to give great service.

I think the price for just the cleaning was maybe $110 He was very professional and seemed to know his stuff for one of the better prices I have seen. Only negative was that he did not get right back to me, but the message from his voicemail indicated he was booked until after Christmas, so that was not really a super challenge or unexpected...Just glad he fit us in and we feel safe with having a fire in our new home.

He was punctual and professional and very friendly. He explained everything and showed me the pile of compacted lint that came out of the vent. He also looked at my gas log fire place and provided suggestions on what might need to be replaced: he was able to get it working while he was here and gave me the number to his fireplace technician. (When Mr Wyatt arrived, he told me that a large strawberry planter on my front walk had been knocked over but that he stood it up for me. The pot was damaged (not repairable). My husband told me that the pot was standing this morning when he got the paper: it's over 25 lbs, not top heavy, and has never been toppled by wind. Not sure what happened.)

I called three people on Angie's List to ask about a fireplace inspection on a rental property. They all were pretty much just ready to schedule an appointment without even knowing what the problem was. Tim was super nice, patient, and talked to me about my issue. I have not scheduled an appointment with him yet, so I'll update my post if it comes to that. I just wanted to put a positive note in return for his taking the time to talk to me.

We are very pleased with the services provided. The plan was to pull out the gas logs but there wasn't enough draw up the chimney so we had to move to plan B. It was late on a Saturday afternoon yet he took the time to walk us through our options and locate a much better gas log set than what was currently installed. He had to travel to pick up the unit and come back to install. We should have been his last call of the day but the work took him into the evening to finish. The set was 100% realistic and he gave us a low price guarantee. We highly recommend this service!

ARRIVED RIGHT ON TIME - WENT STRAIGHT TO WORK - SHOWED ME THE AMOUNT OF SOOT COMING OUT OF THE CHIMNEY AS HE CLEANED - RE-ARRANGED LOGS IN A MORE NATURAL WAY WHEN HE WAS DONE AND SHOWED ME THE PATH OF THE FUMES WHEN HE WAS DONE.

Tim Wyatt came with a helper and was excellent - very thorough, professional, pleasant, punctual and did a great job on a chimney that probably hadn't been cleaned in years and a dryer vent that may not ever have been cleaned. He also offered a great deal on some gas logs which we took and he installed and they look wonderful. We are fully satisfied with his service and would call him again in a minute! So glad we found him.

Has worked for me in another house several years ago. Always good job. Had assistant this time who worked outside while he worked inside so job went fast. No complaints.

Did a great job. They sent two service people, one cleaned the chimney, while the other one cleaned the dryer vent. They were very quick and did a very thorough job. We would definitely use them again.

Wonderful! And yes, they do have top hats. We are leasing a great house, but the previous tenants did not take care of the property's amenities very well. We'd always had a wood fireplace and weren't sure if the were gas fireplaces in this house had been messed up or were safe, and we didn't know how best to use a gas FP, so we called out The English Sweep for a checkup and regular maintenance. So glad we did! The guys showed us exactly what they were doing, told us everything we needed to know about gas fireplaces, and did services that we wouldn't have thought to do, such as washing the gas logs, which should be done annually. They also showed us common mistakes people make with their fireplaces (e.g., too many logs at once, diminishing flammage) and how to work the mesh curtains on a gas fire for optimum heat or less heat. The keys we had were difficult to use, and they recommended and had different sized keys that improved that. The one we got was $40 extra, but that's because we went with a fancier design. They cover the area they work around, and they clean up after themselves. Both guys were very personable. We will definitely use them again, and now consider them part of our regular list of and quot;reliables.and quot; Highly recommend.

Very satisfied. Call several companies regarding a rent house we manage and Tim was the only one that seemed interested in the business. He gave me a firm quote on the cleaning. He showed up on time and, according to the tenant, everything was neat and professional. The chimney needed a cap to curtail the debris coming into the chimney and blocking the flu. Tim had the part on his truck and installed it after calling to have the price approved. Everyone was very satisfied.

Much better experience than another company I had tried to use. The gentlemen from and quot;English Sweepand quot;definitely looked the part of chimney sweepers, with top hat and clothes. However, very professional and detailed in cleaning out fireplace and logs. Took them about an hour and half and answered a lot of my questions. For an extra $50 they also cleaned by dryer vent which is a long way from dryer to outside vent. Overall, thought they did a professional, good job and I plan to use them again.
