The service was very good. They came when they said they would. They were courteous and finished before noon. They make an excellent product, and I have noticed that I hear less street noise and my electric bill has gone down some. These were double paned windows, but I was told they were equivalent to triple pane windows sold by other manufacturers. They are expensive, but if you want quality, you have to pay for it. I am paying it out over 5 years, but these are windows that will never need replacing. I have less expensive vinyl windows across the front of the house, and I have noticed that dead insects and other debris from outside seems to work its way under the vinyl windows. I have never had to clean the Anderson replacement windows. They are tight and nothing works through the seal. I hope at some time in the future to replace the windows across the front with Andersen.

The windows and doors are great. Had trouble with door installers. A supervisor came out and righted the situation. Overall a good experience

They organized this and scheduled it very well. We wanted a colonial look in the windows and they complied. And, they suggested a slight tint to deflect the sun. Installer was top notch. No delays, on time as planned and no problems since.

We were very pleased with the installation process, and we love the finished window product. The follow-up service was excellent, as well.

Excellent! Our Salesman, Mitchell Hill, cared more about the relationship and that liked what we got than the sale itself. That was very impressive! They were quick to get the measurements and although it took a while to get the windows, after all they were custom made, once they were here they were all installed in a day. It has been over a year and I am very happy the quality of the windows and the people at Renewal by Andersen.

Price is tooooo high! you can get cheaper windows and probably replace them 3 times over 30 years and still not pay as much as these. You can also get Andersen Windows at home depo for about 60% less. Renewal by Andersen is a higher level of Andersen windows I'm guessing.

We had been hounded by Andersen after they came thru our neighborhood a few months ago, and we finally asked them to come out and quote on replacing windows for us. We have a LOT of large windows and had windows in one room replaced last year by a competitor, but thought we'd compare prices before having round 2 done. The sales rep was fairly professional throughout the presentation...until he finally quoted a price and we balked. He then became visibly irritated with us. They offer a discount for signing the same day they come out. We already had two other appointments lined up for later in the week, and we wanted to see those presentations/quotes before deciding. I told the rep that if, as he assured us, the price from a competitor was within a couple of hundred dollars per window of his quote, we would call them back, to which he retorted "not statistically likely!" He made that point repeatedly that, if we did not sign right then, we were not likely too. As it turns out, another high end, highly rated competitor gave us a quote of approximately $6000 for the same windows Andersen was going to charge us $18,000 for! I do believe Andersen offers a slightly superior product, but it most certainly is not worth THREE TIMES the cost even if we planned to live here another 30 years. And the rep's behavior when we simply said "not today" was immature. I have to believe the main reason they offer such a good discount for signing a contract the same day is that anyone who takes time to compare prices and think about their decision, is not likely to choose Andersen.

WOW! The result was wonderful. Every person I encountered in the entire process, from the initial visit to get an estimate, the second visit to review details, to the phone calls to schedule, to the crew sent out to do the installation, was top notch. It was not cheap but it was worth it. They did not make a mess of my house and worked with me to help me choose details while they were installing. I am so very please with the end product. I felt very comfortable with the installation crew.

While at the State Fair of Texas on October 18, 2013, my wife and I stopped by the Renewal by Andersen booth in the Coliseum Marketplace and gave a spin to their Wheel of Discounts. Replacing the eight single pane aluminum windows on our 42 year old ranch style home in east Plano has been on our "to do" list for the past five years, so we figured we'd listen to the sales pitch. We spoke with a very nice young man, Jimmy, who arranged to have a "presenter" come by our house the following day. While our spins of the wheel did not land on a significant amount of discount (the highest amount of discount on a window installation was $1,500), Jimmy gave us an upgrade to $1,500 off, which, if we decided to contract with Renewal by Andersen of DFW, would come off the total price of the window replacement and would be good until the end of the year. Our appointment with the "sales rep" was set up for 2pm on Saturday, October 19. The representative, Josh, showed up exactly on time, was professionally dressed and and ready to show us the Andersen product. Let me tell you, Josh KNOWS his product, was extremely informative, and had a GREAT personality. This company should be very proud to have him on their roster! From the outset, we explained to him our situation in regards to the major repairs we need to make on our home: foundation, roof, windows. Our house is a very modest 1,500 square foot house in east Plano. As mentioned above, we have EIGHT windows; 2 single hung windows, and six slider windows. We made it clear to Josh that a high end model of window wouldn't really make much sense for either our budget, or our house. Five years ago, I entertained bids for vinyl replacement windows from three other companies in the area. At that time, I had not had a presentation by an Andersen rep, because I knew Andersen windows were a little more pricey. Let me tell you, if money were no object and I had a high end house in need of windows, I'd go with Renewal by Andersen in a heartbeat. I was VERY impressed with everything about the window as it seems to be a VERY well made product in all ways. From the screens to the materials comprising the window frame, to me, it seemed the best product of any I have seen, or researched online. Please note, the price of $16,998 listed above is the "promotional" price. The "retail" price of the windows came to a whopping $21,247. While at the fair, our initial contact, Jimmy, gave us the "friends and family" discount of $1,500, so, I am not entirely sure what kind of formula or promotion was in play to give us the bid of $16,998. But STILL, it is hard for us to justify spending that much money on windows for a house that is only appraised at a skosh over $100k, especially when we have foundation issues. Our only quibble regarding the whole presentation yesterday was that the promotional price we were given by Josh was only good until the end of THIS month (11 days from now). At the fair, we were told by our first point of contact, Jimmy, that our discount of $1,500 was good until the end of the year. Again, we don't know what kind of discount and magic formulas were put into play by the rep who came to the house, to get the figure of $16,998. So, to sum, I believe Renewal by Andersen is a terrific product, and if you are looking for windows that are high end, go with this company. But, if you are like us and on a tight budget with a home that isn't worth that much money, you'd be best advised to look at other options, which includes the OTHER line of Andersen windows which are apparently a little less in price than the Renewal By Andersen products (which is a franchise line) or another vinyl replacement window company altogether. Since we are not purchasing windows from RbA, I cannot speak to the length of time to have windows made, installed and maintained.

I give them an "F" for no response to my inquiry and request for an estimate. maybe the job as I outlined it wasn't big enough. I believe the local company may be a franchise of Anderson Windows. I have always heard of the quality of the product, but obviously who ever is running the business locally, is not doing a good job of it. . I have since contracted with another company that has received the highest ratings on Angie's List. They followed up in less than 24 hours after I sent my inquiry. .

I just had a consultation with sales person who began the session by telling me " We are not cheap" . After I had stated I wanted a simple, functional not too expensive product, his first estimate was based on the complete opposite, the fanciest, most expensive one, because according to him " I had to do it" . When I asked him to let me think about it for a couple of days, sales person tried to make me feel guilty for not taking his offer and wasting his time .

Renewal By Andersen did an excellent job for me. They kept me updated on every phase of the project from beginning to end. The installers were exceptional! They were very professional and conducted themselves as if it was their own house. The windows are more expensive, but are higher quality.

Overall everything went very well. I am well acquainted with the Anderson windows from previous homes we owned in another state. We have always felt their product was top quality, although expensive. We do think you get what you pay for and while these windows were very expensive, they were of superior quality as well. The salesman who worked with me was very good at explaining the differences in other windows, and the value of Anderson windows. Once ordered, it took two months for the windows to arrive and set up an installation date. On day of install, the workers were almost 3 hours late, but they called twice to keep me informed of their expected arrival so this was not a big problem for me. They finished the whole job in 4 hours. The installation went well and they cleaned up nicely after they were done. My only complaint is that, during the work, they apparently left a glass window sitting on my lawn in the hot sun - which badly burned the grass. It doesn't look like it will be regrowing and I'll have to wait till the good grass spreads into the brown outline of a window! Otherwise, I am highly satisfied with the windows and the installation, and plan to have them come back to do the windows on the front of the house this fall.

After arriving late for our appointment, the sales reps sales presentation was very disorganized. (He had to make several trips out to his car to get sample merchandise, brochures, ect.) and the bulk of his presentation consisted of reading to us from one of the brochures, which he left with us to review while he and a female that he introduced to us as someone "they were hoping to hire", measured our windows. My wife and I liked the Anderson windows very much, but we were unsure about the color and all he had to show color was his brochure. When he came back into the house, we told him that we would like to see an actual window and an actual sample of the various window colors. We made an appointment with him to meet at their show room in Dallas a couple of days later at a specific time of day (1:30pm, I think). We live in Hurst, so a round trip to this show room was 40+ miles. He said he would have our estimate all calculated out and that we could sign accepting their proposal then (after we were satisfied with the color). We made the trip to Dallas and arrived at our scheduled time. The receptionist seemed a little vague when we told her that we had an appointment with Mr. "X". She said he had not checked in, but she would try to locate him. Quite a long time passed and there were several hushed conversations between the receptionist and several other office personnel with nods in our direction. We were told once that he was on his way in and would be there shortly, however after another lengthy wait, she told us that he was tied up at a trade show and would not be making it into the office that day and asked if we could come back another day. I told her that I had no intentions of coming back another day and asked if there wasn't some one there in the office who could show us the windows that we were interested in purchasing. She disappeared into the back and after another lengthy delay, came back with the production manager from the fabrication shop. This man was very friendly, and showed us the windows and even gave us samples of the various colors to take home, however, there was absolutely NO paperwork there from the sales rep. Since he didn't know the window measurements, he couldn't quote us a price. He said the sales rep would contact us first thing in the morning. We left the show room and on our way home decided that there was no way we were going to pay THIS company approximately $20,000 to install our windows. If they were this haphazard in their sales department, what kind of night mare would installation and service after the sale be? We think that Anderson windows are probably the best replacement window on the market, but we would NOT recommend them to anyone because of our experience with them. Thank goodness we found out what an unreliable company they were BEFORE we gave them any money!

I have very low opinion about them. We had severe problems with the installation of the doors. We ordered three external doors and I believe they manufactured six doors to fill the three spots. The quality of their workmanship was shoddy. They were unprofessional. They did not have the measured doors, they got the color wrong, they installed them wrongly and in the end one of the doors had to be removed. I had to find another provider to take care of it. I would never use them again and I would talk anybody I ever knew from using them. It was a very bad experience.

They were very good. They carry a very specific brand of window, the anderson windows.They have a high price. They are very friendly. They offer discount if you ask them. They will explain exactly the benefits of their windows over other windows. They give true information.They explain not just the construction of the windows but they explain exactly what we are getting. They are excellent.

The windows are Renewal by Andersen windows. The windows are high quality and they did a good job.

When the guy from Renewal by Andersen told us that it was going to be over a thousand dollars for a standard 30 by 36 window, we sent him packing. I would say that my overall experience from Renewal by Andersen would be a C, and I would not use them again in the future.

They did an excellent job. I would use them again in the future.

I called to get an estimate, they took all my information but then said it was required my significant other be there. I informed them I was getting the estimates and was in charge of choosing the contractor. They said it was a requirement so I told them I am sorry they could not give me a bid.
