Description of Work: I was expecting a mold test kit like I purchase at the Home Depot where the kit contains a Petri dish that I open and expose to the air to register any mold. After one hour I would close the cover on the dish and send it to the lab. |Moldlab's test contains two strips which I had to physically touch to a moldy area to get a sample. This was not my intention to do but that's what I had to work with.

Description of Work: Good overall, but needed more info than just two surface samples from my whole house. We are looking at mold inspection companies now. Good that this gave us an idea that we do have mold, though. Good to confirm that mold is present if you suspect it, but if you are pretty sure already, maybe save $60 and go with an inspection company (that does not also do remediation, since there is a conflict of interest).

Description of Work: They were prompt as promised, but it didn't help my problem. I had to enlist another company that came to my home, did extensive testing and then wrote a protocol that was needed for someone to come in and clean up the mold. | |It would have helped if I had known that the test results sent to us could not be used by mold remediation companies. Tests must have a protocol written, which this type of testing does not. |

I am a licensed mold consultant and with that I have seen a lot of other labs and while they were okay, Mold Lab is hands down the best Lab I have seen or even heard of! Turn around is great, Reports are the best, and easy to understand, customer service can't be beat!
Description of Work: I am licensed mold consultant in Texas, Mold Lab analyzes all of my samples that I collect from my costumers properties! The people at Mold Lab go out of their way to help you, even if it is a service they do not offer! If you need any help concerning air quality in your building or home, Call Mold Lab first! They are just GOOD PEOPLE(which is hard to find these days)!

I sent 2 separate test in a day apart, and there was a little mix up due to that. When I called, Kristina got it straightened out right away. Very nice to deal with.
