It went wonderfully. Technician was prompt, fixed blinds the day he came out to give me a quote, measured for the new blinds....very professional. Told me it would be around 2 weeks for the new blinds, but it only was 1 week and he set up a day to install, which he was prompt to come out again and installed very quickly. I am very happy with this company

Nice family owned and operated business. One of the business owners provided the measuring and quote in the first visit, and his brother installed the blinds on the next visit. Very professional and courteous, and not pushy at all. Very honest as well throughout. I highly recommend them.

From the moment I called, their customer service was exceptional. The woman who helped me was very kind, estimated my project for me and set very clear expectations (no surprises, or I should of that, etc. - she was on it!). Chris, the gentleman who repaired the blinds called when he was on his way, showed up when he said he would, was very flexible in working around furniture (so I didn't have to move a sofa). He repaired what another repairman had Gerry-rigged and provided me with a 2-year warranty. He was also incredibly nice and very professional. I will not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to others!

I contacted BB through Angie's List. I heard from them in about 24-36 hours, requesting my phone number so we could talk about my needs. I complied, but I wound up having to write another e-mail requesting they either call to discuss my business, or send me elsewhere if they were too busy. They called me promptly. I wasn't impressed initially because as soon as I told the woman (I believe she is a daughter of the owner) I was looking to have blinds repaired, she immediately launched into pricing. It was almost as if she was trying to dissuade me, and her tone was detached. I envisioned her working on something else while mechanically reciting the price list. I went ahead and scheduled an appointment for, if I remember correctly, the next day. The technician, Deven, arrived pretty close to on time and set to work immediately. He was very nice, clean, and looked and acted professionally. We spent time discussing the problems I was having. He also went over the price list for repair, and said replacement would be cheaper. He priced it out, and we spent time discussing colour, material, and type. We discussed in detail the pros and cons of whether I wanted to replace a single blind for a double window or go with two blinds. I finally decided on a single. I was cautioned that the double blind would heavy, and may be just a difficult to raise an lower. I was required to pay 1/2 down, and told the blinds would be ready for install in two to three weeks. Within a week, the blinds were ready, and I scheduled the install. I specifically asked for the first appointment of the day, and was given 0800 to 1000. I then specifically asked if the tech could be at my house at 0800, so I could be at the office by 1000/1030. I was assured this would happen. I made this request at least twice, possibly three times to ensure we were both on the same page. On install day, 0800 came and went. I called at 0850-ish, and was told that the tech was at the facility, loading up. She would check his departure time to my house and call me back in a few minutes. At 0930, I called back, and spoke to a different person. She was very upset that I had been promised an 0800 arrival time. She said that they only offered windows of time. When I explained that this was what I was promised, she became annoyed. I'm sure she was more angry with her co-worker than with me. Finally, I told her that I had to leave at 1000; if the tech wasn't here, they would have to reschedule at a time more convenient to me. The tech arrived about 0950. He was very nice, clean, and professional. I'm sure he was concerned about his reception because he knew I was angry at the time mix up. Whether he agrees or not, I tried to go out of my way to be polite and welcoming. He quickly installed the new blinds, and even more quickly repaired the tilt mechanism on the fourth. Overall my experience was positive. The time snafu still bugs me, but that was one person making promises she should have known she shouldn't. I was put off by my initial phone contact with BB, and by how hard it was (two e-mails) to get them to contact me about obtaining my business. Both technicians were polite, clean, and professional. The install tech was the owner's son, and is also a firefigher. After we got over our initial awkwardness, we chatted about this and that. I commented on his drill and he spent several minutes giving me drill purchasing tips, and explaining how they work. (I'm a brand new home owner and never had a need for power tools until now. Turns out, there's more to drills and battery types than I thought.) The blinds themselves are lovely. They were able to match the colour so the three replacement blinds look original. Instead of wood, I chose faux, which turns out is MUCH lighter. The blinds are very easy to open, close, and tilt. I was given a discount so replacement was about $100 cheaper per blind than repair--even for the two double wide blinds. I will contact Bloomin Blinds again when it's time to replace the remaining blinds in my house.

Prompt response to an email and the appointment was scheduled. Received an email reminder the day prior. They were to arrive between 8:00 am and 8:30am. They called at 8:00 and were on my doorstep at 8:15. I had just completed some remodeling and all of the windows were replaced. Needless to say, the blinds were filthy. They went to work right away and the job was completed at 11:30am. If furniture needed to be moved, the men were extremely careful. My 12 year old blinds look absolutely brand new - even the strings are bright white. I couldn't be happier. Great experience from start to finish!

It went way, way better than expected and are very happy with the results. I recommend this service to anyone who doesn't like dirty things hanging around in their home and anyone who is meticulous about cleanliness; which my wife and I are.

I called Bloomin' Blinds for a quote on replacing all 13 blinds in my home. Kevin was right on time and measured every window. I was given a price right on the spot. Kevin also took the time to show me options and explain the different price points, then suggested the best product for my needs. I ordered the blinds and and they arrived right on time. It took about an hour to install and every one fit perfectly. Very satisfied with product and experience.

I called to obtain a quote for the service I needed, repairing an old blind that had stopped working. As the amount quoted was acceptable, I scheduled the work. Their representative arrived on time and performed the work in a timely manner. Eight months later the blind still functions as well as the day they fixed it. I would absolutely use these folks again.

Chris came out did the measurements and ordered what we needed. He fixed the slats in one window that day. When he returned he installed the blinds and shades quickly and professionally. They look great. We just had them come back today to clean windows for us. Josh did a great job. We were very impressed by how personable and proffesionable both Chris and Josh are. We wi. definitely use them again!

This was the third visit to fix this blind. They have a very conservative approach to their work. They truly don't want a customer to pay for something that's not absolutely necessary. The first trip, they did some adjustments which they made sure I understood might or might not totally fix the problem. I agreed to wait to see if it worked. Two days later it was not opening and closing again. The second visit, they replaced all the rollers. The old ones were out of round, etc. They identified one other area that might start causing problems, but again suggested I might want to wait and see if it did. Again, two days later, the blind wouldn't close properly. The third visit the offending mechanism was replaced. I now have all new parts which are under warranty. The blind works perfectly. I appreciate the conservative approach even if it dragged out my point of satisfaction which was my decision. I am very pleased with them and will use them for all my window treatment needs.

We asked for an estimate for replacing some shutters in our house. This was one of two estimates we requested for the work. Their price was very competitive and we were happy with the gentleman who gave us the quote.. We decided to use another company because we had dealt with them in the past so had a history and the price was within a few dollars of Bloomin'Blinds.

Very quick, professional and good prices. Offered to do a fix with the old parts that might hold for a while. I was reluctant to do that so we went with replacement parts. Never pressured me to do more than was necessary to do the fix.

Awesome, great fast service!

I brought the blind in at 3pm one afternoon, expecting to have to come back to pick it up in the next day or two. I was told it would be ready by 4pm. Kevin called to say it was ready at 3:58! Excellent service by a friendly staff. I have other blinds in need of repair and will be taking them to Bloomin' Blinds very soon!

Can't say enough good things about this company from the phone call to the visit they were very professional and kind. They educated me to what would best fit for our family and life style.

This business is a treasure. I took my shade to their shop, I was told if I wanted to run errands for forty five minutes, they could have it repaired to save me a return trip. I opted to return the next day and the work was finished. This is a family run business that I highly recommend. I appreciated the fact I could take in a 20 year old shade and get it repaired without any talk of replacing it. We even discussed how to wash them in the tub! Will be using them again!

I had almost 40 broken shutters in my home. They work better then they ever have in 12 years after blooming blinds came out.

They took as much time as necessary to answer all of my questions. I did get another estimate from a different company but these were the best price for a quality product. The only complaint, which is more of an annoyance, is that the girl in the office would call our home phone number when we specifically asked her to call our cell phone. No one is home to answer the home phone so we ended up playing phone tag with her and the installer a couple of times.

They arrived right on time, were courteous and helpful, even doing some minor repairs without charge. Would recommend them without hesitation.
