Bloomin' Blinds of North Dallas

It went really well. The first guy showed up on time and professionally measured the windows with a laser and computer and was done very quickly for 28 windows. I selected the colors and discussed basic options and placed the order. Blinds came in pretty quickly, in about 10 days and we made an installation appointment. They showed up on time and installed 28 or so windows in less than 2 hours. They showed me how to work them and left. My only criticism would be is that if I didn't ask how to maintain the blinds or fix minor issues; I'm not sure they would have said anything....you could tell they were in a hurry and had lots of work to do today. But...that's the way it is when you get a good deal...keep themselves busy. Overall, very happy with service, price and job. The blinds look great and everyone in my family that visits really likes them.

We love this company. Their People, Process and Products are superior to all the others. We are a local management firm that relies on great service providers. You just don't have to "Baby Sit" this vender. They know what they are doing and get the job done for a fair price as quoted,with no surprises. They stand behind their work .

Perfect. Had a great experience start to finish. They answered my call right away and within just a few days house had been measured and blinds ordered. The blinds were ready to install as promised and installation was quick & painless. End result is exactly what we wanted. All personel involved were very nice and very accommodating. Couldn't ask for better customer service. In the past I have had custom shades and shutters and you pay more but you also get more. This company claims to provide for the customer who is looking for good quality for a good price and they do deliver this. If you are looking for something unique or different this is not your company. If you are looking for nice quality and good warranties this company will make you very happy. One note of caution is to be sure you know exactly what YOU want and not rely on their expertise for the right decisions for your needs. I am a very meticulous person and would have liked more ideas and more knowledge shared (i.e. when a shutter is behind the garage door rail, it should be a magnetic fixture because it cannot open far enough to clean; also, a window size needing a two door panel rather than one to look appropriate aesthetically). In the questions above it asks whether I would use this company again or not, I said yes, but this is only if I had to settle for a good quality ordinary product, not for a beautiful, eye-appealing product. You can't go wrong with this company it is just a matter of preference in product.

I was delighted with my experience with this company. I had a small job. The strings were loose on one Venetian blind. The Bloomin' Blinds person came right on time and was very courteous. A small part was broken and could not be replaced. He made a quick fix which worked but was not a proper repair. He gave me the choice of living with this fix for the (reasonable) price of the service call or replacing the bind with a new one for $125 (and no charge for the first call). My wife and I chose the new blind. Either choice would have worked. This is a family run business. They are nice people.

This company has a great system in place. They know how to please customers. They hire skilled professionals who care about what they do. We are a Residential Property Management Firm that has been here since 1985 and we know good trades people when we see them. These guys are some of the best. Do yourself a favor and make the call to get your windows done here its going to be a good decision. Don't change a thing you are doing!

They had good pricing and the work was done quickly. Definitely recommend.

When choosing any service provider, go with the n***. A dentist who has always been fascinated by teeth, to the point of being even a little nerdy about teeth, is likely to do a great job on your mouth. A carpenter who's a n*** about grades of wood, how pieces join, etc., tends to build great cabinets. Kevin at Bloomin' Blinds is a n*** about blinds. He clearly has an interest in how they're put together and, when they don't work, why they don't work. Bringing your blinds to Kevin is sort of like holding a steak in front of a hungry dog: he can't wait to sink his teeth into the project. He explains in detail what has gone wrong with your blinds, how he plans to fix them, and exactly how long it will take -- and he keeps his promises. Our job was done on time and on budget. Elsewhere, Amy and Bailey and the rest of the office staff keep things humming along. They are courteous, professional, and efficient. This business is very well run. Very positive experience all around. Highly recommended.

Did fabulous job. Replaced all metal hardware with plastic to prevent future "cuts" in cord. They could have taken a short cut and just replaced the cut cord, but then we'd have had the problem again next year. Definitely exceeded expectations! Would highly recommend their services.

The technician showed up on time, was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. The work was done quickly and was well done.

First of all, I am SO grateful I found Bloomin Blinds on Angie's List. Their customer service, product, punctuality and price are not to be compared! Perfect in every area! And Chris is the best! Our "Go To" for anything they offer we need/want from here on out!

It is a joy to deal with a local, family owned business where the people seem to take personal pride in it. The entire process was very professional from the initial contact to the final installation. They did a good job in describing the various window treatment options and pros and cons and relative costs of each. Price was competitive. Fabrication time was reasonable. Scheduled installation at our convenience. Installation was done quickly and efficiently. We have also dealt with them in service calls on some other blinds that were installed by other companies and they have been equally responsive and professional in addressing the problems.

Am very pleased with the blinds, but the communication was not the best.

Chris the repair tech called to say he was delayed by traffic (this was the day after Dallas' 3rd ice storm and there still were lots of traffic problems). Called again when he was about 10 min away. Inspected two shades with problems and determined only one needed complete restringing, the other could be repaired without that step. Obviously knows what he's doing. Everything works great now.

After submitting my request for a quote through Angie's List, a representative from Bloomin' Blinds called to get more information. We then set up an appointment for an in home consultation where we discussed the best options for the windows and french doors in our home. They showed up on time and were very professional and helpful. About a week later, they came and installed all the blinds and roller shades. Once again they were on time, professional, took the time to answer questions and demonstrate operating procedures. We would highly recommend Bloomin' Blinds.

I first contacted Bloomin' Blinds in November 2014 and they came out quickly to measure the window that needed some blinds (because the previous ones had been pulled off their brackets accidentally and broken). The installer, Devon, also fixed another set of blinds that had a broken slat. I paid the $100 deposit and Devon said it should take about a week to get them in from the factory and then we'd set up an appointment to have them installed. I later realized that I should probably get the other set of windows (right next to the first one) with the same blinds (even though they already had blinds), just so they would match. I called them the next morning to ask if I could get the 2nd window done as well. They sent Devon out the following week to measure that 2nd window. This was the day before Thanksgiving (11-26-14). All was set. Or so I thought. After a few weeks of not hearing from them, I called to find out the status of my blinds. The lady that answered the phone, Bobbi I think it was, said she'd find out and get back to me. 5 days passed with no phone call, so I called again, and she apologized and said she'd find out for me and call me back, but that she didn't think the blinds would arrive before Christmas. This was surprising to me since I'd been told they'd be done in a week. I understand that the holidays can slow things down, but honestly, I got the impression that my measurements weren't sent in to the factory right from the beginning. Again, no phone call. So I waited until after the holidays, and I finally called them early January, really upset this time since no one has taken the time to call me and let me know anything. Finally, they found that my blinds would be coming in soon, we set up an appointment and I finally had them installed on Jan. 9, 2015. Just to be clear, Devon did an excellent job installing/fixing my blinds, was very professional, punctual, etc. (hence the A). The office staff, however, did a horrible job of getting in contact with me, letting me know what was going on, returning my phone calls, etc. Which is why I rated a D for professionalism. Needless to say, I will not be doing business with this company again, nor will I recommend them to anyone.

Cannot say enough good things about the company. Fantastic family run company. I first used them to have a 20 year old Hunter Douglas shade restrung. You can bring the shade to the shop and they will complete the job within 45 minutes if you'd like to wait. After that great experience, I called them to come give an estimate on three windows in a family room that gets a lot of sunlight. They recommended shades with a Mylar in the middle that darkens the room for television viewing. The prices were the best out of three bids I had. The shades were ready in one week. When I needed additional shades in the breakfast nook, I didn't hesitate to call. Kelsey came and helped pick the right shade of white, discussed the pros and cons of the different styles. We went with a honeycomb that filters the light. During the visit, I mentioned I had a nonworking motorized blind, Kelsey was kind enough to look at the blind and offered a suggestion for a replacement part. even ordered it for me! Again, the shades were ready in ten days. Kris came and installed them. Appreciate the calls scheduling visits, the calls when they are on their way. Easy payments (half at time of order, half at installation)

Bloomin' Blinds is a great company to do business with, everyone was very nice and professional. It took about 3 weeks to receive the blinds. Production was over the holidays, so the slight delay was understandable. All of our blinds look great -- we absolutely love them. We appreciate that they stand by their products with a great warranty. We are in the process of renovating our kitchen, so we will soon be calling Bloomin' Blinds to install blinds in our breakfast area. Thank you for your great service.

The experience was good. They did their job well. I would highly recommend them. The price was reasonable.

We initially found the company on Angie's List. They completed the job in about one hour. The supplier had given them the wrong order for one piece and they had to come back. They called me as soon as the correct piece was in and came out to correct it. Everything went very well.

Chris called in advance, arrived on time, and did a good job. Very professional and polished, easy to deal with.' We have no hesitation in recommending them.

They were punctual on the quote. And I really got a good honest feeling about the company. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone in the future. There were some communication problems and we were told we would have window treatments by a date, and then the shutters didn't arrive. That was apparent due to shipping issues, and Kelsey went above and beyond and had someone come over and hang our drapes so we could have privacy on the windows. So they completely made up for it. I really felt like they cared about the job they did. It was a stressful time for us with a new home and they really gave a great service and I felt like they were ultimately concerned that we were happy in the end. My parents are getting a new house and I will be telling them to use Bloomin Blinds because of their great customer service and follow through.

The people at Bloomin Blinds are the best. I contacted them to give me an estimate for blinds for 13 windows in my home. They arrived on time to measure and provide the estimate for my blinds; they had a large sample of blinds for me to choose from. The blinds were made and ready to be installed in about 2 weeks. The installer arrived on time to do the installation. He installed the blinds and gave instructions on care, cleaning, etc. He also packaged and removed the old blinds. Everyone I had contact with at Bloomin Blinds was friendly, polite and knowledgeable and very professional. The blinds are beautiful and exceed my expectations. I wish I had called Bloomin Blinds sooner. I would not hesitate to return to Bloomin Blinds for additional services or to recommend them to others.

They were outstanding. We are going to use them again to clean our windows. I have recommended them to several people already.
