Description of Work: They serviced my garage door openers here and next door. They provided two new remote controls for the opener next door. They checked the openers and remotes to make sure they functioned properly. Have used them in the past, will use them in the future.

 + -1 moreThey were outstanding in every way. They really saved my life. I thought I would have to buy a new $1000 garage door. They fixed it well and were reasonably priced. I have an 18 foot door and it came off the track and was falling down. It was going to be a $1000 to get a new one. I called them up and they said they have a guy in the neighborhood and they would send him out. The guy was here within an hour. He had to wrestle the door back into position and he went to work. He worked out there for about 2 hours and basically re-built the whole thing and it works like an ace. When you look at it you cannot tell that anything was wrong with it. I felt like I won the lottery. The guy was courteous and just every thing about it was satisfactory.
Description of Work: I hired Texas Overhead Door. I had a garage door re-built about a month ago.

 + -1 moreI am impressed at the level of detail and time that the technician invested to figure out the problem. I have an 8 year old garage door opener and had worked on a couple of months ago after a remodel. This service call was a warranty call on previous work and most companies are usually not prompt nor helpful . I appreciated that they listened to the issues with respect. The technician, Sheldon Kelsey was thorough, professional and explained the possible problems and solutions. He made detailed notes so that we will know what was done previously in case the door acts up again. I certainly appreciated the honest and integrity of how I was treated on this repair.

 + -1 moreThe blinking in the sensor pointed to the sensor being the problem. Worker used a sensor he had with him ant it worked fine. Determined one of the sensors must have a short in it. Their cost on the sensor was too much and it is a simple thing to change out myself, so I had them finish the normal spraying the springs and checking the other parts of the opener, but didn't have them change the sensor. I purchased a pair from Lowe's and change them myself in 5 min.

 + -1 moreIt was a good experience for me. I didn't go with a bunch of companies. I just went with one of the top rated but I did go out and look at some of the prices. I think that he was reasonable. I would say that he was comparable or a little less than a similar job that you see in the flyers you get in the mail. So far I think he did a great job. He was able to come right out. His punctuality was very good. He did what he said he was going to do and he was there when he said he was going to be there. His professionalism was very good. I would definitely use him again in the future.
Description of Work: Texas Overhead Door replaced two springs on my garage door. They were thirty two and a half year old springs and one of them had fallen off.
