Billy Jordon and his team cut/trimed trees from top to bottom by climbing and using ladders to provide tree service that is second to none. Best looking trees in my neighborhood.

Billy was excellent to work with right from the start. He returned my call for an estimate promptly and showed up on time for it. His estimate was thorough and professional. We had a few other companies out for estimates, some less expensive. However they lacked the knowledge or professionalism that Billy possessed. There where a few weather related delays in scheduling and starting our yard. Fully expected given the weather so far this year. The service was extensive(our yard had been let go by the previous owner) and took 2 days to complete. Billy did have another job running that day, and left us in the care of his foreman Kevin. Kevin was an outstanding to work with as well, have no fear if your left in his care.They started with removal of the large oak and pruning other trees and bushes in the front yard. At the end of the first day the front yard looked great. They managed to get the stump of the oak cut down so low that there was no need to grind it. The front yard was also completely cleaned up at the end of the day. The following day was the backyard. We had many hack-berry trees that needed removed as well as an oak trunk. Some century plants in dire need of a cleanup, jasmine and vines removed from the fence-line. Our backyard was a total mess.The amount of work done in our backyard is to much to list. There where to large trailer loads of debris removed in total. After a long days work our yard looked amazing and felt about twice as big as it did at the start of the day. Billy and his crew where a pleasure to work with. They did the job right, and came in on estimate. I will be using his services in the future.

Billy came by the same day for an estimate, which was very reasonable, and his crew came to do the work within two days. They worked quickly and efficiently without any need for contact with anyone in the house. All of the debris was removed. They made quick work of the job and did outstanding work. Not only did the trees look wonderful but the crew also carefully applied tree paint to all of the prune sites to prevent disease. The trees' new appearance now adds a great deal to the look of the property. The invoice process was convenient, payment easy, and doing business with Billy was a pleasure. I will definitely call Billy again for future tree work and recommend Arboretum Tree Services without reservation.

I used the company twice. They did a fantastic job. They did some things that should have been done by a previous arborist we had out. They were able to take care of some vines that were covering one of the Oaks. They were very knowledgeable in their field. The trees look much better now. The owner, Billy, will come out to take a look at what you need. He is very honest and supervised the crew who came out for the work. They did everything we asked and were very responsive. They had great recommendations as well.

Superior service. We had moved into a new home and two palm trees were in serious need of extensive work. The owner, Billy Jordan, had me text a couple of photos so that he could provide a more informed quote on price. Because of the major work needed on the palms, I went with hiring a crew for the full day, which would be only a small amount more than for the palms alone. Because of the time of the season, he had other jobs already scheduled but he remained in contact and soon was able to schedule a specific date for me. He was able to come even while I was away travelling. The crew did an excellent job on the palms -- always a messy job! -- and trimmed all the other trees in front and back. We have a pool in the backyard and the crew did a remarkable job covering and keeping the pool free from the dropping fronds. They left the yard perfectly clean afterwards. Billy explained exactly what they'd be doing beforehand and also explained what kind of schedule I need to plan on for the future care of the palms. Neighbors have remarked about how good the trees look, and one has inquired about his own palm trees. Of course I gave Arboretum a high recommendation to him. And the Angie's List discount certainly helps too. Arboretum will definitely be who I call in the future. Great service, and great work.

I had to pay an extra $100 to use the big deal. Which was not in the fine print. I also had to call multiple times to get the work scheduled.

I have used Billy on 2 other occasions...I WON'T have anyone else do my trees. I have approximately 20 trees in back, various kinds. My most immediate concern was two trees that were contacting my roof; concerned w/ damage from the trees and critters (ants, squirrels, rats) getting into attic. My take: take 'em down! Billy recommended retaining the value of the trees by raising the canopy off the roof. He & his crew did so beautifully....also trimmed remaining trees perfectly. I found Billy's service on Angie's list; and, again, I will not look anywhere else.

Unfortunately I did not take before/after photos, so let me paint you a mental picture of the property before clean up. As you approached the house, it reminded me of a green and overgrown "Munster House". The side yard was something out of say "Jurassic Park", dead/dying under growth with a green jungle vegetation canopy overhead. UGLY.... I had not been to the house in years... You get the picture. Billy and his team came in and worked a miracle. They transformed the "Munster/Jurassic Park " into a beautifully landscaped home. They hauled off all of the debris and did everything in a timely manner. Took less than one day. I would highly recommend Aboretum Tree Services

ARBORETUM TREE SERVICES is without a doubt the best tree service here. Their price for all of this work was very reasonable. I had a scheduled appointment for them to come and start the work, however that day and the following day we had heavy rain and we needed to reschedule the work date. Billy called me and kept me informed as to when we could start the work. He is very prompt, responsive and detailed. His follow-up was very much appreciated. On the re-scheduled date, he and his crew were very punctual and the crew worked in a very organized manner. Their work was detailed, professional, and clean. There were huge piles of tree branches everywhere from all of the trimming on the property, and at the end of the day the crew removed every bit of the trimmings, and cleaned the sidewalks, driveway and backyard so that the whole property was immaculate. I cannot say enough about how professional this tree service is. I would highly recommend them.

It went fine. I just like him. He was very nice and knowledgeable.

Billy returned my call regarding my tree. I wanted to know if it could be treated or if it would need to be removed. He asked to text message him some pictures of the tree, the fungus and it's leaves (I didn't know what kind of tree it was). After he had reviewed the pictures, he was able to identify what kind of tree it was and the best course of action. He thought that since this tree was not native to the South Texas area, it would be best to remove the tree. Since this is the ONLY tree in my front yard, he said I can still plan another one a few feet away from it. He provided me a lot of background regarding the fungus on the tree, the tree it-self, the removal process, etc. I have only owned a house for about a year and a half now so all of this was new to me. He gave me an estimate of about $650 to have it removed but said he could give me a better one if he were to see it in person. I told him I would think about it and call them back if I wanted to move forward with removing this tree.

Billy and his crew worked wonders with our neglected oaks. In one day they cleaned up our oaks and voluntarily cleaned up our persimmon bushes. Our huge red oak looks so great. The oak had many large, dead limbs and was overhanging our house. It was a huge job and they did wonderful work. Plus they cleaned everything up and took it with them. We highly recommend Billy and say thanks again for a job so well done.

He educated me about the proper care of our trees and when they would need care again. He's very professional, knows trees and gave me an idea of how to properly care for our fence as well. I was very satisfied!!!

They came out and did everything we had talked about, and tacked up a part of the fence that was falling down, fixed a piece of gutter that was falling down, and cleaned debris from my gutters. On top of that, every single fallen leaf has been removed from my yard, which was no small feat. The end result: everything looks fabulous and I found the person I will call whenever I need tree trimming done in the future. After several years of working with folks who were either not at all impressive or just okay, it's wonderful to find someone I feel like I can trust who will not only do a great job, but truly goes above and beyond.

It went great. Billy Jordan and is crew are very professional. The two live oaks they had trimmed two years ago when they were just starting out. This time they did some more shaping and they look like real trees! The Sierra Oak had been growing a couple of years and needed it's first real trim to get it going the right direction. They did a great job and the tree looks beautiful. I am very happy with their work and will use them again.

They seemed very knowledgeable and I felt comfortable hiring them. In the end |I think he was hoping for a bigger job and was upset that we just wanted a coupon's worth of work done. He successfully took out hackberry trees at the back of our lot.

The wife and I bought a lot of land in a community because of the 5 Pecan trees in the backyard. Shortly after construction began our trees took a very quick turn to the worst. I called Billy in hopes that he could come out and tell us what we needed to do in order to save the trees. Not only was our first conversation a real help but he even agreed to meet us on site 30 min after I called. Billy explained to us that the builder had built up the land in order to meet water flow codes to prevent flooding etc. They builder basically placed about 3-4 feet of extra clay and soil on top of the trees and they were dying as a result. Billy wrote up a statement for us to give to our builder and with his help the builder agreed to pay for the removal of the excess dirt on the trees and they also put in rail road ties to secure it and to prevent the dirt from falling back into the hole they built. Thanks so much Billy for helping us to save our trees!!

Billy provided a thorough onsite estimate, was there everytime he said he would be right on time, and his guys performed the work in a timely, efficient, professional, and thorough manner. His estimate was spot on and extremely reasonable considering the amount of work involved. Had 4 estimates total, he was the 2nd lowest, but of all the people I met with, he seemed to KNOW and truly CARE for his business more than anyone. He provided great tips to improve the overall health and landscape of the trees and yard. Would recommend him over and over again!

Called Arboretum Tree Service 11/19/13 to trim some oak trees on my property. Billy Jordan came out the same day to give me an estimate on the three live oak trees in my front yard as well as six other trees around my property. My main concern was the three live oaks in my landscaped front yard, as they needed the most work, and I figured I could probably trim the others myself. Billy said the front yard trees would be about a half days work for his crew and he estimated it to be $850. I agreed to the price and Billy said they would be there THE NEXT MORNING. I said that was great! I told him I was a day sleeper but don't worry about me just go ahead and do the work when you arrive, and wake me when you are done. Well, I woke up in the early afternoon having never heard the crew go to work. I figured they never showed up and to my total astonishment, the front yard trees were BEAUTIFUL!!! Totally groomed like bonsai trees! in addition ALL NINE TREES on my property had been groomed!!!!!!!! Talk about OVER DELIVER! And not a branch, twig or leaf to be found on the ground. This was very good service and made me forget that you have to include TAX! Haha! He even emailed me the bill! He's definitely getting some referrals from me.

Arboretum had the lowest bid for our project. We don't always chose the lowest bid, but were impressed by Billy. He was very polite, punctual and gave us much information. We are very happy with work completed!

We have many trees on our property that needed trimming. When I called I immediately was able to setup an appointment for them to review our yard/trees. We set a date and they showed up right on time. |All trees were trimmed very nicely. He was very professional and did a fantastic job. We would use them again and recommend them to others.
