We were very pleased with their work. Lots of trees so took four days. They showed up on time, were courteous, worked diligently throughout the day, and didn't even see them take a break. Hauled off the cuttings every day and completely raked everything when done. Did not even find a leaf in the yard. Enrique was the foreman and was great. Thought the price was a bit high at first but there is a difference between cost and value. Clearly we got our money's worth. Job was only for back yard and at the end of oak wilt season trimming, so already have them scheduled to return in July to do the front yard.

Billy Jordon inspected all of our trees and provided a fair estimate. He recommended removing the under story to lift the tree canopies. His crew worked Friday and Saturday trimming many live oaks and cedar elms. They arrived on time and worked hard both days. All cuts were properly sprayed. Crew was very professional and respectful of our property. They cleaned up after themselves leaving the area looking much improved.

The owner, Billy Jordan, was punctual in coming for a quote, was knowledgeable and explained what was needed and what I did not need to do . . . no hard sales pitch, just an explanation of what he believed needed to be done. Told me if I did what we discussed, I would not need his services for 3 to 5 years. His crew was on time, worked hard and steady for 3 days and did a great job. Very pleased with the results. I will, definitely use them again.

Mr. (Billy) Jordan and his crew did an outstanding job! Mr. Jordan came the same day I called to give us an estimate. They started the job promptly - told me it would take three days - which it did exactly. Mr. Jordan arrived with his crew, introduced the foreman for the job and went over the details! His crew arrived for three consecutive days on time, were friendly, polite and professional! Would highly recommend this company.

I contacted them because they have a licensed Arborist and that is important when dealing with live oaks because we have live oak wilt in the San Antonio region and I want to protect my live oak trees. The work appears to be done wonderfully and they cleaned up well when they left. They sealed all the cut branches on the oak trees as standard practice. The owner followed up with me by telephone to see if I was pleased and like I said I would use them again.

He sent 2 crews and did all that we agreed on and Much More! They trimmed and removed the ball moss on 4 Aditional Oaks and treated ALL the trees to give them a boost for the spring. They also trimmed some mountain laurels that were mixed in the oaks. They cleaned the debris from the pool, cleaned all the mess from the trees, took some brush that we has laying in the area, cleaned up lots of oak leaves that were already there and blew off the pool deck and walkways. It looked better than when they started. Excellent job!!!! I will definitely use them in the future,

Well. Billy and I walked the yard. Instead of selling me on the service he told me that regarding the health of my trees I did not need to have them trimmed and could wait another year or so. The only thing trimming would accomplish would be to improve the aesthetics. I told him what I was thinking and asked for his input. He had some great ideas the my long term tree trimmer had never suggested. We went with Billy's ideas and both I and my neighbors are pleased with the result. Job itself went fine. Crew arrived on time, worked diligently, Billy followed up with me the next day to be sure I was satisfied. We noticed a few branch cuts that had not been painted (not many given the volume of work that was done) and he sent someone over to address that. I would use Billy again.

Team Jordan did such a great job! They were very kind and professional. They even leveled up several large stumps for me to use as plant tables on the patio! Clean up was great! Above and beyond... I highly recommend Arboretum Tree Service!!! Thank you so much!

The crew showed up on time and cleaned up everything. They cut a few extra branches that I had missed and painted all cut areas. This is the second time I've used them and will call them again for my barn area!

Exceptional service. Planned out the whole job during our walk-through, and took care of everything they said they would. I even asked for a few changes while they were doing the work, and they were happy to accommodate my requests. What impressed me the most was the cleanup...they raked the yard clean. As they were leaving, they noticed there was some debris left in the street. They stopped their truck, got out and cleaned up that debris too. I will definitely use them again.

Billy was very professional and readily answered all the questions I had. I especially appreciated that they made sure to leave a little branch that was supporting a bird feeder without my having to ask. They cleaned up exceptionally well. The trees look superb now. Better than they ever have. I will hire them again the next time we need our trees serviced.

Typical hill country reseller who contracts illegal aliens to do the work! These people cut down beautiful oak tree branches that actually had hammocks hanging off of them!!!

I talked to Mr. Jordan on the phone and we scheduled for an estimate the following day. He arrived on time and we did a detailed walk through for the requested areas. He quoted me and we scheduled for work the following day. The crew arrived the next morning and completed all the work as specified. The crew was very courteous and performed high quality work. He also trimmed additional dead branches not specified. Finally they cleaned up meticulously including the fallen leaves all around the house. I will definitely hire them next year.

They cut some low lying limbs on several trees in my yard. They trimmed a tree that was interfering with my satillite dish. They did a general clean up of the other trees in my yard. When they were through cutting the limbs, they did a general cleanup and left the yard spotless. I would recommend them and I will be using them again.

You don't have enough space for me to tell you how great I think this company is. They were very professional,arrived on time, went right to work and worked until everything had been completed. They cleaned the area, mine and the neighbors' on both sides, so there would be no debris and hauled everything away. All men were very pleasant with whom to work, very personable and answered any and all questions I had. They also did some extras that we had not discussed but that needed to be done. I would recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone who needs great and honest work done. I am extremely pleased. If there was a place for an A+, I would give it!!

The nicest crew. They came in and really did a great job trimming our 4 oak trees, 2 pecan trees and others. Added a circle around trees out front and water saving chips. They hauled all refuse away including some they did not generate. Our three oaks out front have grown and it is time to have them back. However, the canopy in the front is magnificent. It is thick and it like being in another room of the house. Very pleasant in the summer and winter. Thank you.

Billy Jordan, owner, is an arborist and really knows growing trees and plants. He is very up front with his advice and if he disagrees with something you think that you want done a certain way he will fully explain the right way to do it and his advice is fully trusted by me. We have large Rosemary bushes across the front of our yard and this is the time of year for some to die if that is what they decide to do. He recommended a way to remove the dead plants and make the opening from the missing plants look natural in the setting. He is very easy to talk to and is a wealth of knowledge. We will continue to use him (had a large job done by him last year) whenever necessary. He stated that we may be able to now go for two years without work being required but we will ask him to evaluate it again in a year. He see things that we have no clue about. He goes behind his crew when they believe that they are finished and brings them back to finish up any detail that he see requires a final touch. Last year the tree trimmers from CPS Energy came here to trim our oak trees away from the power lines. They were not going to "paint" the large limb removals and had not cleaned their tools after their last job. This was during prime oak wilt season and I ran them off and called Billy Jordan who came and did everything correct to the state guidelines. My entire front yard is oak trees and I was not going to let a bunch of amateurs butcher my trees. Sometimes you have to pay to get things done correctly.

We call Billy every year or so to trim all the trees on our lot. He always arrives on time and stays to answer all our questions. On this visit, his crew of three remained all day and when finished asked if there was any further work they could do. They are professionals and know what they are doing, unlike many of those who knock on the door with a saw in hand. Thanks, Billy.

Billy Jordan, owner, and his crew did an outstanding job on my trees. They look great and the appearance of my trees will be a big help to me as I will be selling my home in the near future. I have about 40 trees on my 1/2 acre property and Billy has been taking care of them for me the past 3 years. The crew was always polite to me and worked efficiently. All tree cuttings were hauled off, except for some of the larger tree trunk which I requested to be cut in fireplace size pieces. The crew even stacked the cut pieces on my log rack! Cleanup was thorough and you would not know a major tree trimming job had taken place. Having experience with Billy on prior jobs I did not get other quotes, and I would not consider anyone else for future tree work. Thanks Billy for your great service to me.

The crew arrived on time and the work was completed. Clean up was thorough. The only reason that I would not use them again is due to cost.

Arrived as scheduled. Billy is very professional, knowledgeable and communicates well in addressing all our concerns. Has a good eye for what needs to be done. We have a number of old, mature trees so this is very important to us. Brought crew of 4 with him, who worked very quickly and efficiently. Did excellent job of cleaning up the yard when done. This is the second time that we have used him, and will not hesitate to use him when needed again.

Our trees --nine live oaks and two elms-- hadn't been pruned or had anything done to them in years (previous homeowner didn't maintain the property), so they were scraggly, leaning into two neighbors yards, had a lot of dead limbs and overgrowth, and one of the elms looked like it was dying. The limb on one of the trees had scraped the roof a little bit, and if someone hadn't lopped it off, it probably would have damaged the roof, but the stump was ugly and still close to the house. There were so many dead spots in our yard too, from lack of sun. We had several businesses come out to give us estimates, and each one found something wrong with one or another of our trees, suggesting we remove one or two, because they were either rotting inside out or too close to the house. Estimate rates varied from $700 to $3000. Billy came out on the appointed date at the exact time he was supposed to be there. He looked at all my trees, said that a couple were fighting for sun, but other than that nothing was wrong with them. He said we made the right decision waiting until winter to trim them and the estimate he gave us was about $1500. He walked with me to each and every tree and told me exactly what each one needed, what they would do and how. His explanations concerned me a bit, because it seemed like excessive cutting, but so many of the branches were either touching or very close to the house, that I felt we didn't have a choice. The day of the appointment, the Arboretum crew arrived on time. They started work, and I watched as Billy walked the crew around to the trees instructing them in what they were supposed to do. He then had to leave, but he first introduced me to his crew leader in case I had any questions and gave me his cell number too. I stepped outside several times to watch the crew work. They kept busy the entire time, constantly cutting, trimming, moving, cleaning, and so forth. Stumps, dead branches, moss, and dead limbs were removed; branches were trimmed and trained; and the trees just generally started looking like trees again (instead of a jungle mess). Every single cut was treated (painted), big or small. These boys didn't just trim our trees; they also swept the roof, cleaned out the gutters, and even removed old debris from another one of my projects. They were polite, answered my questions and didn't appear to mind at all when I watched. My yard looked so good when they were done. Billy had told me that since nothing had been done to them in years, the sever pruning would "wake" the trees come spring, and although I had reservations because they looked so thinned out, he was completely correct. Come March, all the live oaks starting shedding like crazy, but sprouted new growth up to a foot-and-a-half out by summer, and greened like I'd never seen (I'm sure all the rain we got this year helped). The elm that had looked like it was dying suddenly filled out and looked beautiful. We won't have to trim for a long time, and best of all, we won't have to replace damaged shingles or siding. Arboretum did a beautiful job.
