+ -1 moreSince I had found where the water leak was by cutting a hole in the wall there was no need to do any searching for the leak. Non-the-less I was charged $225 + $39 for diagnosing the leak. The fellow who did the work had no flexibility in these charges, nor in the minimum tubing charge and generally was a good craftsman. Next time I will probably do the work myself, or if it is too demanding, will use a plumber who charges by the hour and does not have a minimum material charge. At $991.00 for 2 1/2 hours or about $395/hour I can do better elsewhere.
Description of Work: Replaced a water line in my foundation by threading a new Wirsbo tubing line through a sleeve after removing old copper tubing. Total length of tubing replaced was about 8 feet. Plumber works on a flat rate with a minimum charge for tubing of $625.00. I can buy the tubing for about $.45/ft. The plumber spent about 2.5 hours on site. My complaint is that the minimum charge is way to high.

+ 0 moreI WOULD GIVE THEM A FAIR RATING. THEY PROVIDE PROMPT SERVICE, BUT FEEL THE WORK THEY PERFORM CAN BE SUBPAR. INSTEAD OF HOOKING UP NEW ICE MAKER CORRECTLY THE FIRST TIME, THEY TOOK A 'SHORT CUT'. THE ICE MAKER STOPPED WORKING AFTER ABOUT 6 MONTHS OF USAGE. AFTER HAVING THE REFRIGERATOR MANUFACTURER OUT AND REPLACING THE ICE MAKER, ULTIMATELY, THE REASON THE ICE MAKER WAS NOT WORKING WAS BECAUSE IT WAS NOT PROPERLY HOOKED UP BY KENDALL PLUMBING IN THE FIRST PLACE. THEY DID AGREE TO COME OUT AND RECTIFY THE PROBLEM RECENTLY, WHICH TOOK THREE HOURS. I HAVE YET TO BE BILLED FOR THESE HOURS.
Description of Work: I HAVE USED KENDALL PLUMBING ON THREE DIFFERENT JOBS. THEY RE-PIPED LAVATORY DRAIN IN UPSTAIRS BATHROOM AND WET BAR DRAIN. THEY HOOKED UP AN ICEMAKER TO MY NEW REFRIGERATOR, AND REPLACED HOT SIDE ANGLE STOP AND REPLACED P-TRAPS AND DRAIN PIPING ON WET BAR AND UPSTAIRS BATH.
