I probably won't use them again. They won't come out unless you pay a rather hefty fee to just look at my AC. I found someone who gave a free quote and it was something very simple. If you want to attract business, you gotta give free estimates sometimes. My home is maybe 15 min from their office so it's not like they're out a lot of gas. The guy that fixed it figured it out in no time.

I had gotten bids from 3 other company's when I found Long Enterprises on Angie's List. I called and they scheduled me the next day. Steve Long came out and inspected the system. He explained all that he would need to do, he explained why some things needed to be changed....how it would help make the system more efficient. He went through everything. {None of the other company's did that, they came looked at what I had, gave me prices for split unit and package and sent me an email with the proposal} I opted that day to go with Long Enterprise's. They started the very next morning. His crew came out and took measurements and left to get the supplies they would need and came back that afternoon and began to upgrade my duct system. They had everything in place before they changed over the system. We were fortunate to have nice weather on the day they changed the system. They worked diligently until well after 8 pm to make sure everything was running well, so that if we needed heat through the night, we had it. They returned on Day 3 to finish the details out and clean up. The men that worked on the house were polite, respectful, the type of people you would welcome into your home. In regards to the other 3 proposals prior to Long Enterprises, he offered a better unit, a name brand that I had heard about. I got the humidifier and the package unit for a considerable amount less than my other 3 bids, and it was finished in 3 days, not a week or two as other proposals suggested. To say we are pleased is an understatement. The humidifier has done our temperature control a great favor. We use to have our thermostat at approximately 75 to 78 through the day and evening....we always turned it down at sleep time to about 68-70. We now have the temperature set at 70 and the humidity rate at about 35% and it keeps our home comfortable. I don't hear any of the "furnace" noise. so that makes our home quieter. We both sort of look at each other and say what is that noise....something we never heard before, but it has nothing to do with the heating system. I am thankful that we found Long Enterprises. I would recommend his company to anyone who would ask as well as recommend to someone I know who is having furnace/AC issues.

From our intial contact thru the installation and subsequent servicing of the AC/H unit everyting was A+++.

I FOUND THIS COMPANY ON THE BBB WEBSITE AND CALLED THEM AT 9:30 PM ON A SUNDAY. MR. STEVE LONG THE OWNER OF THIS COMPANY ANSWERED THE PHONE. HE HAD A TECHNICIAN OUT TO MY HOUSE THE NEXT MORNING AT 7:30 A.M. TECHNICIAN FOUND THE PROBLEM PROMPTLY AND FIXED IT IN 20 MINUTES. GREAT SERVICE, HONEST AND ETHICAL. THE OWNER FOLLOWED UP WITH ME VIA A PHONE CALL TO MAKE SURE I WAS TAKEN GOOD CARE OF.
