My wife and I kept putting off installing a sprinkler system, mainly because of cost. Two summers ago, it was so hot that I gave up trying to keep my lawn alive by the time-consuming ritual of manually moving around water hose sprinklers. Our lawn was all but dead when we finally decided to spring for it and install a sprinkler system. Irrigation Resources Inc had done other work in our neighborhood, so after taking a couple of other bids we chose them. Their price was fair yet comparable to other bids I had received. What made the difference was that owner John Weaver seemed very knowledgeable and after speaking with him, I felt his company was the most reliable. I was right. John and his crew were on time and very thorough. We are on a corner lot so there was a lot of trenches to dig and pipe to lay. On my request, John was even able to bore under my driveway to get to a small section of grass which was always a pain to water. He installed the system in November of 2012. A few months later, we added new St. Augustine sod. John came back out to raise up the sprinkler heads. It took his crew about 1 hour to adjust the heads to the new height and the system has been working great ever since and our new lawn is flourishing. And by the way, I'd like to offer my compliments to Mrs. Weaver's excellent customer service. Whenever I called she was always courteous and very helpful. Thanks John and Mrs. Weaver for great installation and follow up service on your work. They were responsive to our request for service. Punctual and professional. They diagnosed the cause of the problem quite accurately. Did not overcharge.

They have been here a few times putting in a new controller for the sprinkler system and fixing some leaking valves. He always does a great job and his charges are very reasonable. Today they had 3 guys working for 4 hours. The price today was a good deal. We have used them at least 4 times.

My side lawn was saturated. Had another Angie's List provider come out to fix the problem with my sprinkler system. They said I did not have a leak in the system and changed out some sprinkler heads. They charged me $101 and did not fix the problem. When I called them back they wanted to cap off all my sprinkler heads on that side of the house because they said it was getting over watered. I knew that would not solve my problem. When Irrigations Resources came out they found the problem within the first hour and yes --- I did have a leak. Very professional and on time.

I had been having issues with our lawn irrigation for several years, and tried unsuccessfully many times to get the landscaping company to adjust the system to get us full and appropriate coverage for our lawn. I finally decided to look for a specialist in irrigation and was referred to Irrigation Resources by one of my neighbours that had a good experience with them. They answered immediately, but did have to schedule me in as they were extremely busy (a good sign I thought). When they arrived - on time - they got straight to work and clearly demonstrated that they were indeed experts in this area. Within 30 minutes they had surveyed our entire installation and had uncovered two underground leaks. They also identified issues with the nozzles installed in several of our sprinkler heads that were causing the inconsistent watering and lack of reach. The repairs, adjustments, and new equipment installation took all of about 2 1/2 hours and our system has worked very well since their service. This was a lesson learned for me in using a specialist instead of a landscaping company that happens to say they can tweak a system for me. John, Jeanne, and their crew were excellent to work with. They were exstremely knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. John provided a comprehensive proposal at the lowest price. He even installed an extra zone than what was originally proposed, bringing the zone total to eleven. They were very professional in providing a plan and keeping me informed. The crew was excellent in terms of installation, promptness, and clean-up. I have already recommended them to others and will continue to use Irrigation Resources for any necessary servicing.

They gave me a bid in May. John came over on a Sunday morning to do the initial survey of the job. I negotiated on the phone for a week or two and then accepted the bid. I had one case where it took a few days to get a response, but usually responses to my e-mails were prompt. I was told the job would not start until July or August. I received a call late July saying they would be ready to start soon. Before they started I was told it would take 7 days. It actually took 6. John came out and showed me how to operate the new sprinkler system. All seems to be working well.

They did a good job. I have no complaints. I will use irrigation resources again! they have no problem -any one can use them.

It wasn't difficult to choose John's company to install our lawn sprinkler system. Three weeks after installation we are very pleased with the service and the Irrrigation Resources Inc system. We chose John for several reasons. He does the piping installations for the company that installed our foundation watering system and he was highly recommended by the foundation watering company owner. Irrigation Resources has great reviews on Angie's List. We discussed this with him when he supervised his piping people on the foundation watering job. He answered all questions when he came by to measure for the estimate, explaining how and why the nine zones were necessary for our land and what kind of sprinklers were needed for each zone. When he emailed the estimate and proposal it didn't take long to decide as the estimate was in the ballpark of costs that some neighbors paid over the last couple of years using other installers. The estimate was a bit more than average but I knew that our neighbors didn't have as many zones in their systems. Installation went as expected. Each day the installers made the effort to keep the work site tidy and set tools and supplies in one corner of the backyard at the end of each work day. They did a good job of cleanup upon completion of the job. John te owner came by each day. On the last day he tested all parts of the system and set up the schedule on the controller. As i wasn't home he set up a different time to teach us how the system worked. John came by as scheduled and gave us a thorough demonstration of the system including a system test. He showed us how to winterize the system and left instructions for that as well. We are pleased with the service and the system and we will call upon john for any future maintenance.

Everything went incredibly well... John has a great team and they are excellent at their work. I hired Fernando to do my new grass, and the yard looks phenomenal!!

One of the parts in my back flow preventer had been cracked earlier in the year during a freeze. Another contractor had examined my system and was not able to determine the problem. This contractor quickly determined and rectified the problem. He also inspected my whole system and replaced multiple damaged nozzles. My system is working very well now and I am very pleased with the work.

It turned out just fine. He swapped out some pieces in my system, which worked out really well.

He has done our irrigation as well as my parents. I own my own company and he handles work for us for our business also. We have known him for years he does fine work.

It went very well. He helped us with some of the other sprinkler units that were not sized correctly. He did a good job.

Call as soon as you notice trouble. With the drought this year, he has been quite busy. They do keep a waiting list and he was able to come on the date that the lady who took my call predicted that he would.

See above. Final charge was $112.01, which I felt was entirely and totally reasonable for the work he did.

WE set a date and time for service/ The contractor was timely , he checked all components (which I had done and though I couldn't find the cause of the malfunction, John did. He corrected the valve and electrical glitches and corrected them, adressed sprinkler heads that were not operational and provided the needed corrections. He gave an honest appraisal corrected the problems and gave me an honest price..he'll be on my "A" list.

He added a zone, replaced our controller, and repaired everything else. I thought his estimate was fair and the work was extremely professional. He arrived with a large crew exactly on time, finished in a few hours, and went over everything with me before they left. I could not have asked for a better experience. I will certainly call whenever I need anything done with out sprinkler system in the future.

I was given John Weaver's name by a friend (and also checked him out on Angie's List). Even though his secretary said I could expect a call in a few days, John called me the same evening that I left the message. He was very professional and asked detailed questions about our drainage problems. He came the next day to check out our backyard and gave us three different suggestions for solving the drainage issues -- fix it ourselves (he explained how), install a sump pump, or contact a landscaper to regrade the yard. What surprised me most (in a good way) was that two of the solutions did not involve his company; thus, he would make not make a profit if we went with either of those. The he solution that did involve his company (installing a sump pump) was one that he did not push, and he even said it would be messy and expensive. In the end, we decided to call the landscaper that John recommended (who also happens to have great ratings on Angie's list). Though we did not end up hiring John's company, I would highly recommend him because of his professionalism and kindness.
