There were a couple of zones that needed to be repaired. The water line had been cut, I think by the landscaper. There was flooding in one spot I didn't know anything about. He found the problem, he was good, very thorough, and he did a good job. The price was very reasonable. He was good. I would definitely use him again.

They arrived on time and got straight to work. Lee is very knowledgeable and helpful.

John did a very good job in fixing all the problems within an hour.

Mrs. Whealer walked me through everything, told me what to do and voila it worked and my sprinkler system came back on. Not many people take the time to ask the right questions and then take the time to walk you through it while you fix it. That was in my opinion great customer service and I will for sure use them again.

Heard about John through another Angie's list vendor that I'd used. He and his team were excellent. They came out next day following call. By fanning out in the yard and using walkie-talkies they were able to compare notes on what they observed. In each case they appeared to know how to readily resolve the issues encountered. One leak I brought to their attention for action, the other one they spotted via their walk around (and it was a gusher at the base of a tree). I was very impressed with their service, professionalism and reasonable rates.

First, John reconnected my system to a working water line. Then he systematically worked on each area repairing the leaks and problems. The system now works again, and for a very reasonable investment.

I called initially on Friday, July 11 around 5:00 p.m. and left a voice mail stating my problem. The receptionist (and turns out wife of owner) returned my call on Monday morning, July 14 but advised it might be 2 weeks before they could come out.She suggested turning the system off at the water main and explained how to do it. That evening I tried but couldn't budge the pipe handles. I called back the next morning, Tuesday, July 15 and asked if they could please prioritize my service call as I was unable to turn off the water and things were leaking considerably. The receptionist suggested getting a hammer to hit the pipe handles. When I expressed concern about doing that, she advised me that 75 customers were ahead of me, she had no idea when they might come out and suggested that I call someone else. I asked her if John Weaver was aware that she was saying this to his customers and she replied they had been married over 30 years and she thought he probably did. I attempted to reach Mr. Weaver via his cell phone but it went unanswered. I'm a senior, I work full-time as a secretary and don't feel qualified to bash plumbing with hammers even if I had the body strength required to do so. I am extremely disappointed and will be taking my business elsewhere. They provide excellent services if they have the time and inclination to come out. Recommend having a Plan B.

After having two other sprinkler companies who came to my house, and either not fixing anything or trying to say the whole system was mess up. John came in this morning with his crew, fixed all our issues within 1 hour, program everything. Super professional, great job and did not try to take advantage like other sprinklers companies. I highly recommend John to everyone wanting to repair or have anything to do with Sprinklers. His wife will reply and tell you he is busy but will call you day before he comes, he did exactly that and took care of business! AWESOME JOB! Julie

John and his wife are fantastic. Would recommend this company to anyone. I called and left a message and they returned my call within 24 hours. One zone in my system would not turn off. John's wife walked me through a couple of potential fixes over the phone in an effort to help me avoid a service call charge (this was much appreciated). My problem ended up requiring a service call. John was very very knowlegable and fixed the problem by replacing the valve internals instead of the whole valve (this saved a lot of time and money). John fixed the problem very quickly, and used the rest of the hour to tune up the system. He was very knowlegable, friendly and honest. He provided great service at a fair price. If I ever needed a new sprinkler system or extensive repairs I would use this company.

He was fabulous. He gets an A+. The price was fair. He was informed. He knew what he was talking about. He was knowledgeable and professional. He didn't come in here with a question mark. Everybody was on time. He did the work in a timely manner. That all holds true for him. I'll give him an A+ on many parts here because it was a fair deal.

John called me the night before to let me know the approximate time he would meet me the next day. He was prompt and took the necessary time to hear my concerns for inadequate watering. John also told me the watering times I should use once the weather heated up later in the spring. I have used Irrigation Resources for years and will continue to do so.

John was very professional and curteous. He came out, looked over the patio and gave us an hourly rate that was very reasonable. We already had purchased all of the hardware and materials beforehand from Lowe's and he promptly showed up at the time we expected him. We next chose a date for installation and he arrived on time, with one additional helper. John was very detailed oriented and asked us where we wanted the various sprinkler heads located within our patio. He then proceeded to install all of the hose and heads - all the time asking us for our feedback. Once the initial hoses were installed, he tested them to make sure they worked properly. He then proceeded to add all of the other drip hoses as we saw fit - he was even willing to install a drip hose up the back side of our tree which connected to some hanging orchids that we grow. When he finished, he cleaned up all of the areas where he and his assistant worked and then packed all of the leftover materials back into my storage bin where I keep all my plumbing supplies. Based upon the price, professionalism and the kind and gentleness of John, my wife and I both thought we got a great deal - we will be forwarding John's contact information to many of our friends.

friendly, upbeat, to the point, moves quickly (saves time), moves along in logical manner to diagnose problem, I feel he is honest & gives frank information and answers all questions. polite & business like. I would recommend him & use him again. very pleased.

I called his number and I think that was his wife who answered the phone and told her that I have 2 sprinkler heads that I wanted to move towards my lawn. The city did some work in our neighborhood by putting in bigger drainage pipes and wider streets and added sidewalks and had dug up part of my sprinkler system...and when they put them back, the 2 sprinkler heads were placed on the sidewalk side next to the curb. Even after I adjusted the spray, the water still sprays towards the street and not towards my lawn. My call to his service was on April 4th and he returned the call on April 10th, and when I asked him to come out and take a look, he said he does not come out and look...when he comes out, he does the work! He asked me if I had adjusted the spray and that as long as the water is not going to the street itself, then the grass on the sidewalk also needed watering, etc, etc!

They were excellent. We have no complaints. We liked the crew, the consistency, the customer service, the quote and the response time. They were just all around very fair, hardworking and prompt in returning calls throughout the whole process.

Two years ago John had fixed my ancient sprinkler system that came with my new house purchase. Last month the City of Houston did work on the sewer system of my block and left a mess in my front yard. They came back and did a crummy job of replacing grass after many phone calls to the superintendant. Well, unbeknownst to me, they had broken my sprinkler system! John discovered that the water from the sprinklers was dumping into the street sewer. No wonder my water bill had been outrageous. He dug and trenched and replaced parts, all while keeping a smile on his face. Charged me reasonably for his hard work and gave me a lesson on how to program the sprinkler box. What a great guy!

Intial meeting for quote went well. Emailed me a quote that was very competative with another quote I had received. Timeline was to be 2-3 weeks before installation began, however we really needed it installed before we went on vacation. Owner worked with us and installed the system within 10 days! Excellent customer service. No problems thus far.

Dug out my sprinkler and replaced a valve and rerouted a pipe. Very quick very nice and my sprinkler was back up and ready! Great Work and very tidy.

John was very professional. It was a difficult task to find the location of the broken wire to my system, but he found it much quicker than I thought it would take. Very happy with his work. Will use him again.
