They are quick and reliable. They are not inexpensive though. They are nice guys, and they always ask questions to check everything out. They are mannerly and courteous.

A living person answered the phone and was able to get me an appointment the same day. He showed up in a timely fashion in a clean vehicle and was professional. He assessed the problems we had quickly and did have to leave to get a part but returned quickly and fixed all our issues. We have had several problems with a particular outdoor line and no one has been able to fix it, resulting in wasted water, but this plumber finally fixed the problem. We appreciate it!

We were starting the weekend laundry and found ourselves ankle deep in water in the kitchen and laundry room. My husband called Parobek Plumbing and they estimated the cost at $265.00 because it was a Saturday and they would be there 2-3 hours. They arrived well within that time and cleared the clog. The final bill was $217.00 and we had a $25.00 coupon from Angie's List. We were very pleased with the service and will use them again.

I couldn't ask for a better experience. He came out the day after I called because I told him it wasn't an emergency. He was on time, very personable and helpful. He got his work done so quickly and it all appears to have been very, very well.

Parobek responded on time and began work immediately. It was determined that the blockage was in the line beyond the sink connection. The initial service charge and inspection/diagnostic time was waived and Parobek charged me for the standard use of the routing machine they use to clear clogged drains. In less than on hour the drain line was cleared, tested and repaired. The technician then also gave me some maintenance suggestions on how to keep the line clean without using drain chemicals which can actually damage PVC lines and are not good for the septic system.

The estimate I got from Parobek Plumbing Company is about $9000 which includes materials plus labor. They were professional. They were responsive and on time. They seemed like the perfect fit for the job. I guess the estimate they gave me is right.

I actually called them out on an emergency, and they responded very quickly the same day. I asked him for an estimate for the fixtures, and he gave me an estimate. The next day, another gentleman from the same company came out to do the work. He told me that it probably was a very low bid, but since it had already been quoted, that he would stay with that. I thought that was very honest, and I liked that. They?re almost finished, and the cleanup has been good. However, right now the place is in a kind of a mess because we are still in the process of having it tiled. They?ll come back and finish the work. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

I've used Parobek for years, and in fact when we built the house they did the rough in and top out. We had a hot water line break in our crawl space -- it was too cramped and close to the gas lines to fix ourselves. As a temporary measure we did cut and cap off the hot water line where it T'd so that we would have hot water in our bathrooms until they could get to us (they received nearly 100 calls about broken lines so we were in a queue). They also had a hard time accessing the lines but were able to make the fix quickly as well as repair our temporary patch. They also restored the pipe insulation that we had removed in trying to pinpoint the leak. The price was a little higher than I would have expected but they do good work and have been responsive to the various repairs we've had over the years. They stand behind their work and I like that they have the same people on staff. After dealing with one of the "chains" in Austin, I like knowing that they don't have high turnover, either in the field or in the back office. Over the years they have: * installed gas line extension and put in a freestanding gas stove (and when we suspected a gas leak over a year later they came out and spent a couple of hours testing lines. they found a small "leak" at a shutoff valve that was improperly closed by us and showed me what to do. No charge!) * repaired a leaking valve in our shower (involved tile removal, which they did neatly to minimize damage to nearby tiles) * helped stub out plumbing to an addition in the garage * removed the water softener system that was no longer working

Water line broke due to shifting soils in the Texas heat. I called around 8am, Justin arrived around 1:30pm, just as expected. He looked at the problem, then explained their pricing policy which is a set price versus hourly charges. I feel the price I paid is maybe a little better than hourly as it took a little extra time because of other pipes and wires buried nearby. Justin was very courteous and professional and took his time to explain what he was doing, and even gave me advice for a future plumbing project. The repair was completed in about two hours in 104? weather. He left my property in excellent condition. I was very impressed by his work and will certainly ask for him next time around.

They installed the faucet, but I called to have them raise the fixture because it wasn t set up properly. They wouldn t return my calls and gave me the run around when I did reach them. Once they got paid they didn t want to back their work up or deal with me anymore. I was very disappointed with them.
