John and his crew were amazing. Top quality, and FAST. Will absolutely use them again on our next "project"! This was the best experience I have ever had with painters!

John called on the first day I called him we told him what we wanted done and he said, would send me estimate for both jobs, He came out looked at what we need done, since we divide the jobs into two, He was professional and explained what they were going to do, Everything went well, we can't believe how great everything turned out. John helped me with the color since I was unsure of what kind of gray to us. Taking acoustic ceiling off is a very messy job they took care to cover my furniture and help my husband move the rest. I want to Thank John and his crew for a great job and I know he will be back to get my living room and kitchen done.

Did a really excellent job, the work is perfect, can't see the patched in the ceiling. Very nice to work with. He came out to look at the work and sent me a quote the same day. Upon acceptance he scheduled for the next day. Will be coming back to complete one area that needed to dry out before it could be painted.

John came out to do an estimate, and then scheduled our repair within a week. He was friendly and professional throughout. When they came back to do the repair, friendliness and professionalism remained the name of the game. They did an excellent job repairing our kitchen ceiling, and it looks fantastic. I'd recommend them to anyone for a job done right, and for a reasonable price.

I would definitely use them again. They did an excellent job. They painted one more room than they said they would. Didn't mess around. Really excellent job.

John, James, and Robbie were excellent! They were professional, considerate, and very trust worthy. They were thorough, detail oriented, and very tidy. They were very flexible when working with us because we also had floors torn out of the downstairs and re-installed towards the end of completing this large project. We were very pleased and happy with all of the work they completed for us and will be calling them in the future.

John quickly responded to my request for a bid and was the lowest of 2 bids obtained (a 3rd potential bidder never returned my call). Because John had just started a large commercial job, it took him over a week to get back to me. When he did call to tell me that he could start the following weekend, I had to cancel a 4th potential bidder's visit which was scheduled for the next day. John uses a 2 man crew which is his son-in-law and the son-in-law's brother. They arrived at the appointed time and day and quickly started work. Removing old wallpaper and scraping texture from a ceiling is a very messy (and dusty) job, but most of the mess was contained in the plastic sheeting surrounding the areas being worked.. It took them almost 3 days to finish the job (1/2 day Saturday, most of Sunday, and most of Monday). John informed me that he was being swamped by work offers and felt badly that he couldn't get to everyone who had contacted him. John and his crew did an excellent job and I'm VERY satisfied. I highly recommend him and would use him in the future.

Never showed up for estimate

I exchanged e-mail with John beginning on Friday. He came out on Monday afternoon (Labor Day!) to provide an estimate, which he did by email late Monday afternoon. I called him and he was able to come out today to paint the room. They got to my house at 8:30 AM and were gone by 4:00 PM, and their work is excellent! The walls have wainscoting on the bottom half so they painted that the same as the baseboards and doors (white), and the walls are a beige color. They painted the ceiling as well. John was here with two workers and got it all done in one day, and they even took a lunch break! The room looks amazing and I couldn't be happier!

It was an awesome experience. They have the best price and the quality of work was incredible. They had to do a lot of repairs on our walls. It was a beautiful job that they did.

Mr Bradford did call us today as well as sent an email with a quote. While we feel there was a miscommunication between us, we never received the original email he said he sent to us. We both thought he would call to follow up since I had made the second call about the quote. This has all been settled & we had to move on to another painter because we had work that needed to be done.

John is a true professional. He came on a Saturday (which I needed) for the estimate and fit me into his schedule quickly to coincide with a faux painter's schedule I had already lined up. I received the estimate that same weekend as promised and the amount was reasonable. I found John to be very honest. He told me it would be better to have my faux painter finish the walls (as I had planned) as it was a technique he wasn't used to. I appreciated his candidness and the fact he wanted it done right as much as I did. John and his team arrived promptly on the 1st day of the job the following week, removed all of my artwork from the walls and stored them carefully in the garage. They prepped the walls and baseboards with multiple techniques (sanding, bondo, etc.) and came back the next day to finish up and paint everything. They could not find the exact paint match in my attic, so they went to the paint store to get the right paint. They also ended up doing more work than quoted as I found additional issues to fix. Throughout the process, John contacted me by cell phone to ask any clarifying questions and to ensure he was doing exactly what I wanted/needed. John was extremely conscientious, meticulous, yet easy-going and flexible. He provided me a re-quote that night for the extra work and everything came in as planned. He still finished way ahead of schedule (on day 2) as well, which I really appreciated. The team was extremely neat, took great care to protect my floors and to ensure no dust or mess was left each day. I trusted them to work alone and they did not disappoint in any way! I highly recommend John Bradford and his team. I could not be more pleased with their professionalism, communications, and the work they did at my home. I will definitely use John again!

Great company to work with. We hired John and his associatest to finish some simple carpentry framing around new windows and to paint our newly enclosed porch. He and his associates were prompt and helpful. The guys did a great job framing our new windows and door and priming and painting the entire room. In addition, we found all of the workers to be courteous and I felt comfortable having them in our home. A little side story. On the day John arrived to give us a bid for the work, my husband was struggling to assemble and install a new treadmill. It was really a 2 man job and I was not strong enough to adequately help him. John jumped right in and offered to help. He stayed for about an hour or more and helped, simply out of the goodness of his heart. Such a nice man.

John gave us a detailed/itemized estimate so that we knew exactly what work he would complete. Then he and his 2-man crew (James & Robbie) meticulously, carefully and thoroughly prepped walls before beginning to paint. (Actually, the first thing they did was to carefully cover all floors and windows.) We had a number of holes, including a 2' x 2' plumbing-repair hole in a bathroom and a 1' x 6" hole where we had removed an old 1980's intercom system. John not only covered up those holes but also matched textured wall surfaces so that no one can tell repairs were ever made. We also have several paneled rooms that they sanded and repaired where there were cracks, and then they re-painted those surfaces as well as all the other woodwork to perfection. We had chosen a number of different wall colors and finishes, and they graciously used whatever we chose. The garage floor had many oil stains which required repeated washings/cleanings before paint could be applied. After they sealed and painted the floor with a couple of coats--which looked fine to me--John wasn't satisfied with it so painted it yet again. When the job was completed, they left everything clean and in good shape. We are thrilled with all the work that was done and felt comfortable leaving them to work while we were out of town. John, James and Robbie made our 31-year-old house look brand new.

John was excellent to work with! I had many doubts about color and he did samples with 3 different shades. He was not the least bit bothered. He made at least 2 trips to paint store to get various shades.We talked through it and made decisions about different shades on various walls. He checked with me along the way to be sure I was happy with each color. He could not have been any more amenable to my many questions and doubts about each area. There were several spots on ceiling and a nick on a corner, all were repaired...he even found a couple of chips I had not noticed. They removed doorknobs and cleaned and vacuumed as they went along. When this job was completed we had he James and Robbie to come back and do some doors, a bath and laundry room that had not been a part of the original job. He gave me a great price, showed up on time and completed as promised, He is a very neat worker, taking lots of care to be sure everything is covered, carefully moved, etc. He also cleaned up and put all tools away at the end of each day. We were so pleased that we expect to have another project done in the spring.

John is awesome, very detailed oriented and takes pride in his work. He went above and beyond the scope of his original quote in ensuring everything was done properly.

I hired Mr. John Bradford and his employees James and Robby, to remove the wallpaper from my living room and repair and paint the walls and mount new moulding. They arrived early and Mr. Bradford explained their process. They moved my furniture, covered everything with plastic, and covered my wood floors with plastic and paper to prevent damage. They were very careful with all my belongings, changing the plastic and paper if it got wet or dirty. They vacuumed and cleaned after themselves and took all the removed wallpaper and mouldings with them when they finished. While James and Robby removed the wallpaper and repaired the walls, Mr. Bradford was staining the mouldings outside. They came back the next day. They textured the walls and painted them. After they finished painting, they asked me if I liked it. The color I had chosen looked different than I expected. Mr. Bradford wanting me to be totally satisfied with the result, offered to change the color and he did. They then installed the new mouldings and the finished room was perfectly beautiful. Mr. Bradford and his employees were very courteous and easy to work with. The care they took to keep my home clean and undamaged shows their great professionalism. I will recommend them to any of my friends.

I joined Angie's List almost a year ago to find a painter for the interior of our home, worn down by 3 crazy kids. For a year I've been so stressed even thinking about what a hassle bringing in a painter would be that I kept putting it off until I couldn't stand to look at the walls any longer. If I would of known a year ago that John and his crew would make the process so easy and hassle free, I would of done it loooong ago! John replied quickly to my request for an estimate and came out the same day and we scheduled the painting to start a few days after. I was so impressed by not only the quality of work John and his crew did, but how quickly they worked as well. They were able to do some sorely needed refinishing of my kids' bathroom cabinets as well as stain my front door while they were here and everything looks immaculate. I could go on and on but will spare you - the bottom line is that John and his team are awesome. Honest, super nice, fair prices, prompt AND great quality, felt comfortable leaving them in my house while I ran errands (trust me, that never happens) ... I can only hope that everyone I hire off of AL turns out to be this great :) Thanks John!

Showed up to bid appointment on time. Bid was sent to email. I did not receive. No follow up call was made to confirm receipt of bid. Company believes his email possibly went to spam. Company was able to provide the bid via forward after they were made aware of not receiving the bid via Angie's List review. Work has been completed by another vendor, but this bid was much better than both of the other bids received and would have been considered if not for email mix-up.

His prices were very good. I liked his honesty, integrity and punctuality. I also liked the value for the service that he provided.
