My sprinkler system control box was blown out by a big electrical storm, Wilson came out a few weeks after the storm and replaced the control box. I did not receive an estimate beforehand. I was not home but they seemed to do a reasonable job except they did not adjust my different sprinkler stations effectively. They charged a $75 service fee that seems reasonable and the difference was for parts. The main part, a Hunter PCM 900- 9 station module is available on the Internet for around $90.00. Wilson charged $180.00 for the module. I wrote to the general manager, Mr David Brannan, and enclosed payment in full. In the letter, I stated that I was disappointed that a local company would take advantage of people by price gouging. I never received a reply from Mr. Brannan. A conscientious business manager would take the time to respond. I will not use Wilson again.

I contacted Wilson Irrigation for a bid on a sprinkler system for my home. They scheduled an appointment to come out and give me an estimate and arrived on time and completed the estimate process quickly. Their bid was actually the lowest bid I received for a system for my .5 acre yard. I do not normally go with the lowest bid but they were very professional and I liked the idea that their installers were actually licensed in addition to their designers. They e-mailed me their bid two days after the estimate appointment and their bid was actually detailed and showed exactly what I would get with my system. Their initial estimate reflected the final price as well. During the design process they were flexible and listened to my ideas. They were also willing to work around a lot of landscaping in process that is currently under way in my back yard and they adjusted their plan to fit my future plans. They actually hand dug the trenches for the system in order to minimize the damage to my existing turf and asked me prior to using a trencher in the backyard where I did not yet have any grass. The installation crew was polite, cleaned up, and the on-site installation manager followed up with me on several items during installation to make sure they got it exactly right to suite my needs.

Technician was courteous and professional. Diagnosed problem as a failed rain sensor and removed from activation circuit (I requested it not be replaced) within first 5 minutes. Checked stations and replaced a broken sprinkler head; new head was slightly longer than original and I would have preferred shorter, but he didn't have one and I was OK with the replacement. All in all a very good experinece. I'll definately use them again.

Wilson Irrigation arrive on time as scheduled. They dug a hole, repaired the broken line and checked out all sprinkler stations. Very professional and clean job.

Went very well. They communicated very well, and in this case there was a few days delay due to weather, and they stayed in touch with me to keep me up to date on start time. They had a full crew and got the job done in one day.

Erlck called ahead, and came right on schedule. I called and made an appointment about 4 days ago. Erick clearly explained the controller, and went over the entire system with me. He patiently answered all my questions (a lot). He moved the sprayers, refilled the dirt and rechecked the system. I was very pleased with the Wilson Irrigation company, from the person who answered the call when I made the appointment to Erick who came to our home.

My lawn was in bad shape after the hot, dry summer. I contacted Wilson only by e-mail, and I think that delayed their initial response back to me, but once we made contact they were very responsive. I assumed Wilson would have a big backlog of work, but they actually had a bit of a lull, since school was just starting. I worked with Kevin O'Brien. I met with him for the initial proposal, although I think that is not technically required (if you have a busy work schedule). I was happy with the price - I was guessing it would be over $3000, so $2500 sounded great. I did not receive a detailed map of the system components. They design the system on the fly, and having been through the process, I think it's actually advantageous to do it that way. I suggest that you're at home while they're doing the work, so that you can answer any questions they have, and possibly suggest minor adjustments to the system. Other thoughts . . . - They showed up on time. - They had a crew of six guys, plus the foreman. - The foreman worked also - not digging, but doing some of the PVC work, wiring, etc.. - They dig all of the trenches by hand. - They are able to go under a typical sidewalk, but they can't go under a driveway, unless they happen to find an existing access pipe. - They accidentally broke the sewer line coming out of my house, but they repaired it with all new equivalent components. They also found an existing break in the line, which they repaired for free. - The foreman answered all of my questions about the sprinkler system components. - They left extra wire in strategic locations, for future expandability. - They put all the grass back where they dug trenches, and tamped it down. In my case most of the grass over the trenches did not survive, but it was in pretty poor shape to start with. Now that the grass is getting water twice a week, it will grow back in no time. - Kevin came back out when the job was finished, to program and demonstrate the system. - Kevin set up the follow up appointment with the city inspector (I think they will handle the appointment for you, for an optional fee).

I got an appointment for an estimate promptly; the estimator was punctual, polite, knowledgeable, careful and thorough. It took me about a week to make a decision among the three companies I contacted, but after I contacted Wilson to give them the business, they fit me into their schedule in about a week and a half--in June! The crew arrived on the day of the install and worked all day hand-digging trenches, installing pipe, heads, valves and the controller. They put the sod back over the trenches and tamped it well when they were done. We had an incident where my cable was cut in the process, which the cable company deemed unavoidable and which the cable company fixed for free. After the install, Kevin came to my home a few days later to give me an overview of the system and how to program the controller. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in advising how often to water, how much, etc. He also provided me a directory of the zones and what each covered. I chose to pay an extra $100 for an as-built drawing that details where each head and water line is laid. All in all, the experience was very satisfactory. The only quibble I have is that I found it extremely difficult to reach anyone in their office. I called several times for different reasons and usually had to leave multiple messages and wait about a day for a call-back. I wish I had asked for an alternate number to call, particularly on the day of the install when my cable was cut and I needed to know whether I needed to schedule the repair or whether Wilson would. I waited several hours for a call-back response to my messages.

I still haven't heard back from them I need to have my sprinkler system worked on, and can't reach them. We've used them for a number of years, but I am not happy with them now.

It was a good experience. Erick knew what to do and completed the task.

Professional, on time, excellent follow-ups.

They came on time. Dug up the broken system. Laid new PVC pipes and installed new sprayers. Tested and buried the system then tested entire system. Replaced two additional sprayers. Competent technicians. Knew what they were doing.

The tech was here promptly at 12:30pm when they were scheduled to arrive. I have worked with 3 different technicians and they were all great. They charge $70 an hour for this particular tech + parts. He was here for 2 hours; checked entire system, replaced 2 stations that were worn out, removed calcium (collected in lines from water) that was clogging 4 stations, altered timing on one station. Explained all work at the end to me.

It went great. I called at 8 am, told them my problem, scheduled a time for later on in the morning and the work was completed by 12:30 pm. The service repairman, Clem was very knowledgeable and professional. I'm still amazed I got same day service, with the emphasis on service! I've had work done on my sprinkler system before and it cost 3 times the price for the same job.

I was very pleased with this company. They hand dug the whole project so they wouldn't disturb any of our trees or hedges. They used a high grade of sprinkler heads. They were professional and easy to deal with. They even came back and fixed mistakes made by other lawn irrigation service. I will only use them for my lawn irrigation needs.
