Overall, the experience has been very good. They're reasonably priced. They come out once a year, and always do a good job.

I thought that did a pretty outstanding job. In my absence, they did the installation. When I came out, he spent 1 hour walking me through the system and showing me what he installed and testing the system. They seemed to do a pretty thorough job. They were professional looking. They did wiring in the garage and overall it was a pretty solid job. They were not the cheapest amongst the quotes that we got.

Overall, I would highly recommend Wilson Irrigation. They came recommended to me from ABC Pest Control.

Mario was punctual, fours us, efficient, and most of all explained everything in detailed. He reset my sprinklerss to meet the current drought requirements and the needs of my lawn and trees. he is very knowledgeable.

so far so good. the sprinkler technician was good and I had a strong sense he knew what he was doing. price seemed good as well given the work done. I will use again.

The work done was fine and efficient, in spite of the temperature being 105. The associate gave me several helpful suggestions.

Mario did a great job, he efficiently took care of my leak problem and replace a couple of sprinkler heads, all at a reasonable price. He also took the time to explain to me correct watering patterns and timing, and told me how to extend the life of my irrigation system. It was this extra attention and education that really impressed me.

They guy who quoted the job was the guy who came to do the work. He was knowledgeable and did the job in a timely manner.

Wilson Irrigation has been taking care of my sprinkler system for the last 3-4 years. Two visits were for typical maintenance/tune-up type activities, and one was to troubleshoot problems I had with the system after a fence was put in. In all three cases, Clem was the technician. This most recent service call was to fix a minor mainline leak and to make a few adjustments to improve sprinkler coverage. Clem called about thirty minutes ahead of schedule to let me know that he was on the way. Once he arrived, we spent a few minutes talking about the things that concerned me. He then gave me a general idea of what needed to be done along with a rough cost estimate. During the 2.5 hours that he worked on the system, I stepped outside a few times to see how the repairs/adjustments were coming along. As was the case on the previous service calls, I found Clem to be very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He explained what he was doing in detail and I was impressed with how thorough he was. Once the work was complete, he turned on the system and showed me all of the changes that he had made. If my lawn burns out this summer, it'll be due to water rationing implemented by the city... not the sprinkler system. Clem arrived on time, finished the work earlier than anticipated, and charged me less than I had expected. That's a rarity these days. If you need help with your sprinkler system, don't hesitate to call Wilson Irrigation.

They were on-time. The person who came out was very nice. I was very happy with them.

The guys failed to call or show up. After 25 minutes I tried calling the main office and got an answering machine. Later on I got a call from the guy saying he was running late. It takes me 20 minutes to get to my house and back so I wasted 70 minutes with these people. Also they couldn't schedule anything sooner then 2 weeks out. Big time waster.

Based on their outstanding Angie's List reviews, I contacted Wilson Irrigation to repair and modify my existing irrigation system. I wanted Wilson to slightly modify/expand my system to accommodate some recent landscape changes, refocus a few inefficient sprinkler heads, and repair a visible leak. However, the work recommended by Wilson was much more comprehensive. In addition to fixing the leak (which they identified as being related to the backflow), they recommended replacing every sprinkler head in the front yard, and installing an entirely new system in the back yard. I argued against the need for such comprehensive work (since I believed that my fully functional system only needed some tweaking), but the Wilson rep was insistent, and I ultimately followed his professional advice. I did so, again, based on the company?s great reviews and the rep?s assurance that the system would be VERY significantly improved. Unfortunately, after work was completed, I was extremely dissatisfied based on a variety of issues. For example, coverage in the back yard (after installing an entirely new system) was only marginally different from the coverage prior to the work. Wilson was very responsive to my concerns, and a second service professional evaluated the completed work. He agreed with all of my complaints, identified solutions, and also identified some additional issues. For example, he suggested that a section of sprinkler heads in my front yard be moved closer together as he believed that their current placement made coverage inefficient and too prone to spray onto my driveway. Based on his recommendations, a second crew redid some of the original work and also performed supplemental work (at no cost to me). After work was completed this second time around, the system was still less than perfect, and in some ways, less efficient than my original system: watering too much in some areas, not enough in others, etc. Furthermore, some of the supplemental work (although complementary) seemed totally unnecessary, as water still sprayed directly onto my driveway (the problem that was supposed to have been alleviated), etc. At this point, I opted to stop working with Wilson (who seemed unable to meet my needs), and I hired a different irrigation company (at a fraction of the price) who very successfully performed the simple tasks that I originally wanted Wilson to perform: refocusing heads to improve coverage and reduce waste, etc. In all, my initial instincts (which I should have followed) about this work were accurate: there was no legitimate rationale for replacing (or significantly modifying) an existing system that was fully functional (ie, if it ain?t broke, don?t fix it). The only portion of the Wilson job that I feel was successful (and necessary to begin with) is the backflow repair (a few hundred dollars of this nearly $2000 expenditure).

Wilson Irrigation did an excellent job. Kevin O'brien has been very responsive and accomidating to all our needs. He first came out 4 months prior to the house being completed and walked the lot. We had provided him a rough idea of what we wanted done and he provided a rough estimate of how much it would cost. I had asked him whether they use rainbird controllers, valves, and sprinkler head. He responded that they typically use Hunter's controller since it is more simple to use. I told him that I would like to use the rainbird ESP-SMT controller which provides alot of programing flexibility. He said that it wouldn't be a problem. When our home was completed, Kevin provided a firm quote which was inline with his initial estimate. After we selected Wilson Irrigation, they worked closely with our Landscaper, Loma Verde Landscaping, to cooridinate their effort. Once the job was completed, Kevin has come back to check on the sprinkler system to ensure everything was working correctly and that there was full coverage on the new sod. I would highly recommend Wilson Irrigation systems.

These guy do a great job. From the initial call to the sign off on the system. Very professional.

Wilson Irrigation installed our initial system in 2005. They did an excellent job and we were very happy with both the work and the cost. Although their estimate was a bit higher when all was said and done it was well worth it. When we noticed a leak in part of the system over Thanksgiving 2009 they responded in a prompt and professional manner. They came out and repaired it with a minimal charge. I would highly recommend this company.

They did a good job. They came out a couple of times so they were willing to work with us and get it right. Two of the neighbors on our street were looking for an irrigation company and they pretty much chose this company, so we went along with it too. We got a better price by all three of us doing it. They felt that the price was good and they liked how they went about their work. They seemed a reliable company. They were professional and punctual. I think the price was very fair. That's one of the reasons we went with them. We would probably use them in the future.

It went well. They were punctual, professional, and courteous. I thought that the price was reasonable.

Mario is wonderful and has so much experience with sprinkler systems. He had everything he needed to fix my problems with him, so I did not have to do another service call. He told me that I needed to have my trees pruned because they were blocking water to the lawn. After the trees were pruned, I set a time for him to come back and he checked the sprinklers again to make sure that all were as efficient as possible. He is a perfectionist, so be prepared for him to double check it all. He saved my lawn and saved me money.

The service cost much less than I thought it was going too. I have been very satisfied with their service.

I went to them because of the positive reviews they had. They did a good job. I had quite a few problems and they had to just come and do the work.

He came out with three men and spent 4 hours to add sprinkler heads, change out some head, and test the whole system. He did a great job, was very professional, answered all my questions, and got the system working better than it ever has since we moved into the house. I will call him to do a yearly tune up on the system. I was very happy with the service.

They were very prompt, listened to what I wanted, and made good suggestions. When they came out, I told them I was concerned about getting too close to trees and stuff. They accommodated my wish.

A lightning strike on Memorial Day weekend destroyed our control box in the garage, blew the lids off of all six circuit control valves, and also shattered some of the underground piping. We had no records of the system layout or component locations since it was installed before we bought the house. Wilson's sales rep arrived as promised, and provided a very detailed best-guess written estimate with appropriate warnings regarding the possible accuracy; Wilson's was in the middle of three bids we obtained. Two days after we awarded business, a crew of six arrived and efficiently replaced all obviously broken components. After testing, they replaced a couple of other items and also fixed several heads that were not working effectively. In the end, we received a bill which was $420 less than expected since they were able to complete repairs more quickly than anticipated.
