I met with Cody in the middle of March while I was looking to get an in-ground pool added to my backyard. I had met with two other companies prior to this. Cody came up with a design that really caught what I was looking for and I felt the price was pretty spot on. One of the things that I liked from the first meeting was Cody just seemed really cool and laid back and was easy to talk to and get along with, that meant a lot to me. I was really looking to create a backyard that I could entertain in year-round and not feel that I would need to add to, or enhance down the road. I have now had the pool up and running for almost a month and I've added furniture, etc, to the area and I am very happy with the final product, in fact I'm amazed. Shortly after I went under contract with Cody he got to work, the whole project was done in a relatively quick time frame, which was awesome! One day after they had started digging they stumbled upon a pipe that was not in my survey, it kind of bummed me out when I found out because I figured it would put a huge hold on the project. Cody was out within the hour, made some minor adjustments to the plan and within an hour or so digging started back up! Overall there were really no big issues and anything that came up Cody addressed immediately. Overall I'm very happy with the experience and would recommend Cody and WaterView Pools.

We looked at several pool companies before deciding on Waterview Pools. Their bid was not the highest, but not the lowest either. We decided on them because we liked their design the best, the cost was in line with our budget, and quite frankly, we liked Cody and felt comfortable with him right away. He took our ideas and improved them in ways we couldn't imagine and in a cost effective way. It turned out to be the right choice. Our pool was done on time, within budget, and is absolutely beautiful. All of the contractors that came to the house were true professionals and masters of their craft. Cody personally came by often and knew exactly what was going on at all times. In addition, he offered great suggestions for other areas of our yard. We didn't realize the value of a project that stays on track without our intervention until after the pool was complete. Now that we're dealing with irrigation companies and landscapers, it's been very frustrating dealing with no-shows, lack of responsiveness, and not knowing what's next. We did not have to deal with that at all during the pool construction. A word of advice to new pool builders: Get to know your irrigation system before they dig (maybe even have an irrigation company come out before it's destroyed). Schedule a landscaper sooner than later (barring weather, etc. your pool will be done when Cody says it will be). If your fence is older and has to be taken down, be prepared for additional costs for replacement or repair.

Working with Cody was a pleasure. I loved that he came over every single day of the project in a friendly, upbeat mood with plenty of good cheer to spread to us all. Before finding Cody, I had interviewed lots of other contractors in the past for this job and absolutely none measured up to Cody. He listened to what we really wanted, implemented those ideas and enhanced those ideas to make our project a truly custom design. He took the time to give us a personal touch, almost as if he was building for himself. I was looking for someone who could get excited about our project and give us a unique and special design not just a ordinary cookie cutter look. Cody met those demands every step of the way. He surrounded himself with highly skilled, competent and reliable people who took pride in their work. Our project has been completed now for 6 months and we have absolutely enjoyed our beautiful backyard that Cody created just for us.

UPDATE 12/01/14 Waterfall leaks and penetrates through mortar joints on coping adjacent to waterfall. Mason attempted to repair twice but was unsuccessful. After several phone calls and emails and claims that someone would be sent out to fix, that has not happened. Very disappointed with Cody. INITIAL REVIEW It went great. After talking with several pool contractors I viewed a video from Cody McFadyen, the owner of Waterview Pools, LLC. I immediately knew that Cody was the guy I wanted building my pool. Our initial meeting with Cody only confirmed that he was the right contractor due to his experience and pool building knowledge. Excavation started on 08/19/13 and we were swimming in late September just as promised. The crews were hardworking and very respectful. The Oklahoma flagstone coping really makes the pool look great. The masonry worker who installed the coping, tile and waterfall stones is a true artist. The plaster used was a quartscape Caribean Blue and really looks great. Cody used a tan color on the spraydeck which really ties the deck in with the flagstone. I would definately use Waterview Pools again.

Called about a repair. Cody responded quickly and set up a appointment the next day. Called me back about 5 pm the same day and told me some thing had come up and he could not make it the next day. He then suggested that he come out that evening to see me and he did. He spent about an hour giving me recommendations on how to solve my problem. He convinced me to go with the least expensive solution even though he would not be doing the work and said he would get me in touch with the person who would do the best job when I was ready to get it done. He knows the pool business inside out and if I ever needed a major repair or built a new pool, Cody would be the only person I would call.

Waterview pools built & designed a beautiful custom swimming pool at my home ! If I ever build another pool the only pool builder I'll use is Waterview, they over delivered, I'm very happy with the end result. I knew that the second biggest investment to buying my home would be having an in ground pool built, that's why I got so many bids for the job. Waterview wasn't the least expensive and they weren't the most expensive regarding their bid cost to build my pool, however they were the most professional and I knew they understood what I wanted and could capture my vision, they got it right ! When the neighbors see my pool their jaws drop open and they can't believe how beautiful it is, thanks Waterview ! I'm enjoying these hot days now grilling, chilling, and swimming out by my pool.

We talked with a number of pool builders before deciding to go with Waterview Pools and this was the best decision we made. Cody worked with us to go over the pool design and also helped us understand what equipment would work best for us. Mike and his crew did an amazing job during construction. Mike helped us make adjustments to the design that made the pool so much more than we could ever hope for. He provided good design suggestions, the change order costs were very reasonable, and Mike really treated the whole projects as if he were building it for himself. We reused all the stone that was removed for the pool construction, and Mike and his crew created beautiful retaining walls that gave us back over half our yard space that was previously too steep to use. The pool and yard are beautiful and we love it - we use it every day. Each time we have guests or others over, they are amazed at how spacious the pool is and all of the little design extras that Mike and Cody added such as seat walls, waterfalls, and plenty of areas for the kids to play. We would highly recommend Waterview Pools to anyone that wants a great pool at a great price.

We didn't go with them because I just like the bid that I got from another company better. They were pretty quick in giving me a quote.

I have worked for a variety of pool companies and if I were to put in a pool the only choice would be WaterView Pools. They know what they are doing. They are run by some of the most experienced pool builders in the Austin area and have happy customers with beautiful pools.
