Toluca Granite

I was referred to Toluca by a friend who had great success with them. My experience was wonderful. The entire team was excellent.

From the beginning Toluca Granite was a pleasure to work with. Honorato Guiterrez came out and took detailed measurements. He was very professional and answered our many questions. He also made recommendations and told us how he would do certain parts of the fabrication to make everything look "Just right". Honorato came across as someone who knew exactly what he was doing. His knowledge was the main reason we went with Toluca Granite. The fact that their quote was several hundred dollars lower than another quote we received didn't hurt either. Tuesday 7/15/14 all counter tops and sinks removed except for one bathroom. Wednesday 7/16/14 last bathroom sink removed and all counter tops and sinks installed. Needless to say, none of the counters or backslashes were plumb or square, yet the crew was able to get everything to look like it was. The electrical outlet at the bar area was too low and the demolition crew moved it up with great skill. The demo crew, headed up by Antonio and his brother Orlando, took great care not to damage the wall mirrors in the bathrooms. The next day, the installation crew, headed up by Jorge, showed up right on time and got to work installing the new countertops. They also removed and replaced the remaining countertop in the second bathroom. They had to do quite a bit of fitting, being that a lot of the walls in the house were not square. Both demo and install crews were prompt and polite. We had a lot of questions for them as they went along, and they were always willing to stop and answer our questions. A special thank you to Nancy in the office, who helped us pick out a granite remnant for the small bar area. She was able to save us several hundred dollars, and her help was much appreciated. As to be expected in any remodeling, a couple of small problems appeared a day after the job was finished. A quick call to Nancy, and Antonio came out the next day, Saturday, and took care of them.

Stopped in and talked to Blair. She told me they were the fabricators and told me to go to granite yard to look at granite. Owner came to measure and told me how much granite we'd need. Put half down. They came and laid out frame for granite setting and put us on the install list. Two days till granite. Very easy to work with. Would use again and recommend highly. Paid last half when finished. Blair and owner are great to work with. A++

I went to Toluca Granite to look for remnants to use for bathroom countertops. Blaire was very helpful and knowledgeable. The measuring and installation went well. We had a minor concern after the installation which was addressed promptly. We are happy with the new countertops in our three bathrooms.

They were very helpful throughout the process. Selection was made at the stone yard. I left them the sink that was to be installed so they could make an accurate size cutout,. They came to install on time and it looks lovely. I'm looking forward to having them install other counter tops in the future. The only thing I wasn't prepared for is that they did not accept credit cards, so be prepared with a check or cash!

The entire process went very smoothly, from our initial contact with Blaire, to measurements by Honorato, to actual installation. Everyone arrived at their scheduled times, worked in a very professional manner, and cleaned up after themselves. We love our new granite countertops! The only thing that was a disappointment was that we asked Blaire to give us a list of recommended backsplash installers, and she never did so.

This is my third time to use Toluca and I have been very pleased each time. They have communicate well and arrived on time.

The project went very smoothly. The folks at Toluca were very helpful and guided me as a I went through the process from selecting the granite to recommending someone to install the tile backsplash. The did what they said they were going to do when they said they were going to do it. The installers were very professional and answered any questions. There was an issue with one countertop not quite fitting, and they remedied the problems and assured me I wouldn't notice, and they were right.

It was great! On time, great to work with, quick installation that has lasted well.

We went through the normal procedure of measuring, choosing granite and setting up an install date. Any delays we due to our work schedule. They came out on a Saturday and were a little late, due to the weather. But, Honorato and his crew were quick and for the most part accurate in the installation. We had two minor issues where the guest bath sink was installed backwards and the bar counter did not extend as far as we had agreed on. Working with Blaire, these two issues were taken care of very quickly. Everything looks great. The only thing I would suggest, is to make sure all hardware, removed for the install was either thrown away or re-installed. An outlet cover was left off and some hardware/trash was left under one of the bathroom sinks. This, in no way, would effect my decision to use them again. Blaire was great to work with. She was responsive to our questions and answered emails, even on her day off (not expected). Toluca is highly recommended.

I found Toluca on Angies' List and from the first phone call they were responsive, informative and pleasant to deal with. Very professional. I literally "hounded" poor Blaire with emails over several days as I was choosing sinks and faucets, trying to determine what would fit and she was lovely and extremely helpful in the process. .Toluca was always here when they said they would be, they are very efficient and prompt in their scheduling. The individuals who came to the house throughout the process were knowledgeable and patient. First they came out to do a quick measure to determine an estimate, then they came out to make the template and lastly came to install. Notes: This was not a new house installation...Toluca had to rip out old countertops, sinks and faucets before installing. We felt that the total price of this project was extremely fair and reasonable for the amount of labor involved. Their recommendations of granite yards were good. We settled on using Shenoy because of the availability of "Absolute Black" granite. And they were also very helpful, punctual and professional . And the black counter top looks exquisite!!!

Toluca Granite were very easy to work with. Their office was always helpful and courteous.They showed up on time to measure the counter, and again to install the counter-top, which was cut exactly right first time. The installation crew was professional and cleaned up thoroughly before they left. I would definitely work with Toluca Granite again.

They were very helpful all along the way; even helped us find our tile installer when his email was down.

The previous people that installed my granite did a terrible job!! I could see the seams and the pieces of granite were uneven. I contacted Toluca to replace them as I wanted a new color and wanted it done professionally. The new countertops are BEAUTIFUL. We listed our house shortly after the new countertops had been installed (to relocate for work) and got tons of compliments from the realtors and people viewing the house. Our house even got multiple offers!!! It was a great investment and a fair price as I got a higher end color. I would highly recommend Toluca if you want it done right the first time!!

People were very courteous throughout the whole process selecting, measuring, installing. When I noticed the vanity was not square, the owner himself came and quickly fixed the minor problem to my satisfaction.

This company has an excellent supply of granite remnants ideal for bath vanity countertops--excellent pricing, fabrication and installation. Would definitely recommend and will use again to install kitchen granite countertop.

They came in, busted up the old quartz counter and installed the granite counters in our kitchen and bar. They were here by 10 am and left about 4 pm. They addressed my questions and concerns (old countertop was not level and uneven at the seams- they took extra care to ensure that the counters were level (they had to prop up one side). Overall, very professional and efficient. Would recommend. Thanks!

Terrible, all they did was waste my time.

The work was done efficiently and went smoothly. I picked out my kitchen granite from a local granite company and found some granite remnants at their business location for the bathroom counters. They did have to come back to do some minor ?touch up? work and now it looks very good. I would highly recommend them and would use them in the future. This is a very good small company.

Contacted by email requesting a bid for adding granite to our master bathroom cabinets. We exchanged initial information and then noting happened after that.

Looked for reasonably priced, but good piece of granite, Toluca showed me several. Purchased and it was installed at a later date. All in all a great job!

We really enjoyed using this company. They had fantastic advice about types of slabs, cuts, and their website has lots of great articles about the process. They were courteous, and the process was very smooth. It didn't take long at all to get the counters installed once we had picked out our slab. Plus, there pricing was very competitive. I highly recommend them!
