Initially, the work looked fine. Over the next couple of weeks, however, streaks began to appear indicating that the extraction and rinsing was not thorough and areas were attracting dirt in one of the rooms. I attempted to get them to come to redo the room, but was told that too much time had passed (21 days had passed) and that satisfaction is only promised for complaints registered within 10 days. They will only reclean the carpet if I pay an additional $99, even though it seems apparent to me that the wide streaks in the carpet were the result of incomplete cleaning, not the result of normal traffic on the carpeting.

Overall professional company that got the job done.

I was disappointed! They showed up on time, did an excellent job, particularly on some stains that resulted from the moving, charged me what they said they would, and were very professional in their attitude and their work. That ain't the American way! What a refreshing breath of air to do business with such a company. I'll always call them for any cleaning.

Frank was the one doing the work. He did a great job and was super knowledgeable and friendly. The office staff was also very helpful, responsive, friendly, etc. Highly recommend The Steam Team. Earlier in the year we used Carpet Muscle. We had to redo the carpet since the stains were still present. Nothing beats a steam clean (Carpet Muscle used a different process)!!

They gave me an estimate on the phone based on the size of the rooms. We set up a date/time and they came during that time frame. The service technician was pleasant, thorough and informative. He inquired as to whether I wanted a stainguard, which I did. He proceeded to clean the carpets, taking care in moving the furniture that still remained in the room and protecting the freshly painted walls and trim. He placed styrofoam pads under the legs of the large furniture until the carpet could dry and gave me additional foam and small plastic sheets to put under the legs of the other furniture in case I needed to move it back before everything was dry. He was able to remove a couple of very stubborn stains from one bedroom carpet.

The process was very simple and worked out very well. We had two rugs that needed cleaning and we had also recently purchased a rug at a discount price because it was the floor model and it needed cleaning. The rugs turned out very well.

Great! I had to call them and change the time that we had scheduled, and they were very accommodating with that.

It was great. He came on time and did the job as specified. I have no complaints about them. They were professional and friendly. They gave me an estimate and it was little bit under.

The staff was organized, efficient and courteous. I had an appointment within the time frame requested and the provider performed per the agreement. I am pleased with the service and will use them again.

Before my last tenant moved into the condo, I had new berber carpet installed. Within only a few months, the carpet began to stretch badly. I tried to convince her to let me have the carpet repaired, but she didn't want to go through the hassle of moving her furniture because she only intended to be there a few months. Four years later, she moved out. I expected to need to replace the carpet, but the Steam Team representative assured me the carpet would look like new when they finished -- he was right! The Realtor who helped me list the unit was shocked when she saw the difference. We have both given referrals to others on the excellent work and service of the Steam Team.

Unbeatable price and service. Did a fabulous job on my white carpet. Frank took the extra time to do the job and my carpet looks just like new. Carpet dried quickly in 24 hours.

Great service. Very nice and professional. Got out pet urine stains like they were never there. Made ten year old carpet look brand new. Small difference between price quoted me on the phone and invoice immediately rectified in my favor without question. Generally very impressed.

It went well-- the technician was willing to stay later when I asked for some other work to be done, even though it was late in the evening. Later, I called because the two pet stains we had treated had resurfaced. They sent someone out again and he was very courteous. I ended up purchasing a maintenance plan where they will come out 3x a year for a very reasonable price.

I called and set up an appointment. The phone agent quoted a price. I hadn't called any other companies so I don't know how it compared with what competitors would charge, but it seemed perfectly reasonable to me. The serviceman was timely and polite. His work was thorough and fairly quick, and it produced a very clean carpet. The price turned out to be $25 higher than quoted because the space was a little larger or differently configured than the phone agent had understood me to represent. That struck me as a debatable but entirely plausible judgment.

I was able to make an appointment for within a couple days of calling, and the worker was on-time. He measured the rooms, presented a written estimate of the cost of stretching, and explained all the charges. He immediately began working, and during the work, he notified me that he had discovered some water damage to the subfloor. There were no other problems, and the stretched carpet looks good. Both the receptionist and the worker were communicative and easy to deal with. However, the stretching seemed quite expensive, given the amount of time required to do the work.

The technicians were late (like 2 hours) however, I still appreciate the fact that they actually scheduled a time, rather than a day or half day. Also, the company called to let me know they would be late. Other than that, the job went well, the price was as quoted and the work technicians professional.

They did very good job and they really know their field. The work was done nicely and I did not have any complaints whatsoever. The customer service was really good and I thought the price that I paid them was reasonable.

I thought the overall price was awfully high. I was expecting more in the range of $500-$600 total (including replacement of portions of the padding), but the representative indicated the charges were industry standard. I did not have time to shop around, so went ahead and authorized them to do the work. The workers were professional and on time. The office personnel were very communicative with scheduling matters and explained the process well. The workers did an excellent job in both the remediation and padding replacement.

They were polite on the telephone and quick to set up an appointment to come out to clean my furniture. It was a rainy day and they were careful not to track mud inside. They were honest and did an overall great job.

The Steam Team was excellent. The best thing about them is their thoroughness and up to date techniques of getting rid of dust and mold. We're happy because we have no more sneezing or coughing. They really got rid of all of the dust. It was amazing.

The Steam Team did a really good job. They even moved all the furniture and replaced it when the job was finished. They were reliable and I was very pleased with the outcome they provided me.

The technician arrived when scheduled and went about his work in a professional manner. If you have a larger home with a lot of air ducts the price gets steep in a hurry. When I first called to check prices I was told one price, then when I called back to schedule I was told a higher price. In the end they honored the lower quote without any hassle.

I called several carpet cleaning places that offered coupons but always seemed to have some a "catch" to the pricing. Steam Clean seems more expensive at first but I found in the end that they're about the same without any gimmicks. The technician did a good job and added some hallway areas for free. He was polite and professional.

I have used the Steam Team several times, and I continue to choose them to clean our (admittedly antique apartment-grade) carpet. They always leave it in excellent condition. I am amazed that such an old carpet can look good, thanks to them. They sent only one man, but he was very knowledgeable, and after consultation agreed to what was apparently more than they had understood from my initial telephone call. He worked with me and satisfied my expectations, although he apparently had to postpone his next appointment to do so. I am very pleased with their work.
