The Steam Team

The service was fine but the person who came to our home gave us a different price than we were quoted and grumbled when my husband showed the email with the price listed. Told us he worked on commission and that there was a minimum price for one room which was not included in the email. I believe this is an internal issue for the company and felt uncomfortable as a customer.

Two guys came, on time, and cheerfully got the job done. They prepared the space, let us know how long it would take, answered all of our questions, educated us about what to expect and how to get the carpet to dry more promptly, and left us with a complimentary bottle of spot cleaner. The cost was much higher than the quote, however I really felt that they did a wonderful job.

I scheduled, just purchased, gently used furniture on 8/19 and was pleased to learn the Steam Team could clean it the next day. Matt Hagebusch was prompt, thorough and courteous. My "old" furniture looks like new and Matt suggested I consider cleaning the kitchen and bath ceramic tile. What a huge difference that made. The overall work made my day!

They did a very nice job. Efficient, prompt - arrived when they said they would. One young man did the entire job. Carpet looks great! I will hire them again when I need them.

The roof was being replaced and it rained overnight. the office got flooded and the minute that Steam Team was notified they were there with the team to clean and repair the damage.

I scheduled an appointment for a representative of The Steam Team to provide an estimate to clean all of my wood, tile, and stone floors. They came out on a Thursday afternoon and spent a great deal of time measuring and said that they would send an e-mail within a couple of days to let me know what the estimate is. That was three weeks ago and I haven't heard a word from them.

They finished the work quickly in about couple of hours. They moved things around before they could clean and also set things back once the job was done. Their price was very good. They were very efficient and did an excellent job.

Steam cleaning was very good. stated that could not honor Angies list discount. Wanted to do an after-treatment to carpet although Stainmaster recommends against and may will void warranty.

They had a 3 room special to clean carpets. I had a short hallway (12'), 12 stairs and a bedroom cleaned. The bedroom carpet was covered by furniture (large bed) and only about 2/3 was cleaned. The total square footage cleaned was about 300 and took less than an hour. They charged $99 plus $30 for spot protection. The cleaning price was reasonable but the $30 for a little liquid protection was too high. Also, the service rep did not cover his shoes when walking over the cleaned carpet. He should have worn the paper shoe covers other service people wear.

They were here the day after I called to set up an appointment. I had two rooms cleaned; the living room was the worse and I had it pre-treated, cleaned, and treated with a stain guard. The carpet is 10 years old and has never been professionally cleaned. I have two dogs and a cat and there have been a few "accidents" over the years. The carpet almost looks brand new; so much better than I've ever been able to do despite cleaning it myself about once a year. They got out stains I thought would never come out in the living room but the stains cleaned up real well. They gave me the estimate over the phone and that is exactly what I paid. The guys were professional but also nice and friendly.

Their representative was punctual, pleasant and efficient.

Our Realtor advised us to steam clean our ceramic tile prior to putting our house on the market. Overall, the process went much faster and more smoothly than I expected. The results were exactly as we'd hoped. Our tile looks almost new, as does the carpeting on our stairway.

Pretty well. They arrived about 9:15, which was 15 minutes later than scheduled. This wasn't an issue, except that there was a mechanical breakdown, which the very nice gentleman tried very hard to resolve, but could not, so he had to go get another truck. That was the only cause of the delay, but he did an excellent job and was very friendly and professional.

Smoothly. Rugs were actually ready sooner than projected. They called when they were available.

The job was done well. On the initial visit an estimate was given upfront and the technician decided that 2 workers would be needed instead of just one because a large area of carpet needed stretching. I liked this honesty feeling the job would be done right even though we had to reschedule. We picked another day and 2 workers showed up on time and did a good job. The carpets look great.

Despite a schedule misunderstanding, The Steam Team (Anthony) exhibited flexibility and responded with keen professionalism.

Anthony from Steam Team arrived earlier than the appointed time, which was great, because the entire job took almost 7 hours. Anthony worked diligently to restore and clean the tile. When he was through I was amazed at how clean the tile and the grout were. I was most impressed with Anthony's professionalism. It was obvious he was intent on customer satisfaction, which he got!

Needless to say I did not have them perform the service.

They were a little pricey and I didn't do a good job on the price. They did an excellent job with the major cleaning of our house and they were very professional. They are nice and easy to talk to. They did a very thorough job. I have a couple of dogs that dirtied stuff pretty badly, but they got it all saved.

We got a date which was very convenient to us. The technician was very complete. I was worried about my hardward floors getting wet. This fear never materialized. The jib did not take long- we did 3 areas and it was a great success.

It turned out good. I thought they did a better job than my previous carpet cleaner. My carpet has some spots that are difficult to clean and they did better cleaning those spots. They also explained how those difficult areas developed.

Friendly, helpful customer service when called for appointment and cost estimate. Workman arrived promptly as scheduled, got straight to work and left work area spotless when finished. He was friendly, courteous and carefully explained what he would do and how.

The guys arrived right on time, were very courteous and professional. We were impressed with the care they used around the walls and furniture. The result was excellent. They even got up a few stains that I thought they wouldn't be able to remove.

They were very professional, helpful and flexible. They did a great job, and cared about the job that they did.
