The Steam Team

They seemed to do a good job. They came and they were very professional. They got the job done. I thought they were fair on the price. I probably would use them again in the future.

I had the vendor come to my house to steam clean all rooms. The tech who worked the job was extremely sloppy - each time he moved from room to room he kept banging his steamer against my walls causing knicks and dings. To top it off, he kept walking in and out my house to clean out the filter from the van side so as he walked backed into my house he tracked dirt from outside into my house again even on the newly steamed carpet. I had to talk him into wearing shoes mitts to stop him from trashing my work. Stay away from this company.

The K&M team came to our house to clean a couple rooms. We recently had another company clean the house so we were not expecting the guys to clean more than the living room. While they were at the house, they noticed a spot in the carpet that needed patching and offered that service. I was unaware that they offered carpet repair service, so I appreciated the suggestion. After they cleaned the carpet, the difference in color was very obvious. We won't wait as long to have them out next time.

It was a positive experience. They were all very professional. They did some checking and looked around and they got the work done. I was not here when the services were done but my partner was here.

The tile, especially the grout was cleaned amazingly well with the initial visit. My house is an older house and I doubt the tile had ever been cleaned. The grout basically went from brown/black to white with the cleaning. There are still a few, light residual stains in places, but it was an amazing transformation. The carpet looked clean after the initial visit, but, upon drying, it turns out the cleaning process had wick'ed up older stains that were not visible prior to cleaning. I called them and they sent someone back to make a second pass on the carpet at no cost, spending even more time on the carpet than the first time. The second pass resulted in very clean carpet. Overall, I was very impressed by the responsiveness and diligence of the company. The prices were very reasonable for the services provided.

Placed order with the company over the phone and arranged the date and time with my schedule. They were there on time and did a "A" job. Their price was a little higher than others but well worth the cost as I have learned the hard way before....

After my husband hosted his brother's bachelor party, we had vomit on my very expensive couch. I thought it was ruined, and I was extremely upset. The man was late, but he made the couch look brand new. I couldn't believe it. I really thought we were going to have to haul it to the dump. I would definitely use them again.

Technician was very friendly. However, he did not replace the air filter after vacuuming it off, so our ducts were accumulating unfiltered dust for a solid week after his visit. It would have been 3 months of dust accumulation and unfiltered air if we hadn't gone out to by a new filter shortly thereafter and discovered the error when we tried to replace the old one. A member of our household has low immunity due to chemotherapy, so the cleanliness of the air in our house is very important. They were supposed to help, not create a higher risk. Also, we were dismayed that the technician required us to write out our credit card information on a form rather than scan it electronically. And (though we have no proof that this transaction was related), two days later someone tried to use our credit card at an online store. Anytime you write your credit card number down and give it to someone, you've created a security risk. They should have credit card scanners!

The nice man who did the job was incredible. He was professional, on time, and he worked so h****** the sofa, which really needed cleaning. He also gave some helpful hints and tips about how to care for the sofa in between cleanings. I will definitely use these guys again.

They were able to come out quickly, were very professional and were able to get out stains that I did not think would ever come up. I would definitely use them again.

Everything went smoothly; from appt to cleaning. Good job at a fair price.

They explained things clearly, did everything crisply, were very professional, and did a good job of cleanup. They billed the insurance company directly so I did not really look at pricing.

I was able to schedule within a few days of calling. the company called 30-45 minutes before the appointment. the technician, Leo showed up on time. Leo was very professional. He was friendly, answering any questions, and explaining the process since we have never done this before. He went right to work on the ducts, showing me various ducts and vents that were moldy and that these would be thoroughly cleaned. He worked steadily for approximately 3 1/2 hours. He suggested getting the antimicrobial fog since my husband has been suffering fronm allergies. I did not want that at first. Leo informed me that the antimicrobial fog would kill mold and mildew and that might even be more helpful for my husband's allergies and we could just do that now. I still was not sure and Leo did not pressure me. I did decide later to have the fogging done. Leo was OUTSTANDUNG . He was friendly, helpful, courteous, careful on our new wood floors and put towels under his ladder feet so it would not scratch our new floors, and worked hard the entire time he was in our home. I would ask for him again. The house smelled cleaner after he was done. I would highly recommend The Steam Team to anyone.

Carpets cleaned first, then grout cleaned by single person, later that day two people put down seal to grout. They moved some of the furniture that we had not moved. Ceramic tile is in the hall, laundry room, kitchen and both bathrooms. The Steam Team were on time and professional. Bonus, since we got the Sealer done, carpet cleaning thrown in for free.

It went fine. It is frustrating that they don't move anything, but apparently that's a common thing. I think the pricing for the area rug and couch were too high. It cost more than the entire upstairs carpet cleaning.

The price was much higher than another company that I used.

When I called for service I was told that my couch would cost between 99.00 and 150.00. The Cleaning guy showed up right on time. He told me the price would be 180.00. I was not happy and called the office they said the price on the phone was just an estimate. I explained what I had been told and the price should be in that range. I got no where. The cleaning guy however agreed to charge me only 150.00 so I let him do the job. However he got my couch way to wet. The couch started to get brown running makes on it as it started to dry. I called the office and they said it was because he got it to wet and they would send someone out the next Monday between 10am and 1pm. It took two days for the couch to dry! The next Monday I received a call at 10:38 saying that the cleaning guy would be there in 30 to 35 mins. At 12pm I called to ask were he was and they said he was 15 to 20 mins away. At 1:03pm I called again and asked to speak with a manager. This time I was told he had gotten lost but he was just 15 mins away. Know one ever called for directions! He did finally show up. However it was a different guy. When he came in and realized the job was a redo he complained about having to do it. He did do the job correctly and the couch turned out looking good after the second cleaning. This time it took less than a half a day to dry.

I've used them before a few years ago. They were on time and did a very good job. They moved furniture and that was a big help because I am partially disabled. Their pricing was comparable.

I was impressed with them. He came on a rainy day and he didn't want to mess with it because of the humidity level. He said it would take a long time to dry. He said if it was him, he would have the rugs taken out and cleaned and brought back when they were thoroughly dry. I had them do that and I was really impressed with their service. The cost included them picking up the rugs and moving some huge furniture. We have a coffee table that weighs about 600 pounds. They moved the furniture back when they brought the rugs back. They advised me that they didn?t think they could have it done by Thanksgiving, which was fine, but they were done prior to that date.

The technician that did the work was awesome. He did exactyly what was asked, and then gave a 15% discount because we were referred from Angie's List!! I would definitely use this company again.

This is the second time I've used The Steam Team. They showed up on time, were friendly and professional, and cleaned and treated the carpets with enzymes for pet odor. One bedroom looked great after they cleaned it but spots came up from the pad after it dried. They came back the next day and cleaned that room a second time - no charge. After the second treatment it looked much better.

The service was performed quite professionally, with extensive pre-treatment of soiled and spotted areas. All furniture that I requested be moved was moved and the furniture repositioned on plastic pads. The Steam Clean employee worked on all heavily soiled or stained areas until they were clean.

This $69 special (for cleaning the carpet in 3 rooms) was through Groupon, an online coupon service in Austin. I thought I would probably have to wait quite a while for an appointment, but I called The Steam Team on Thursday and was able to get an appointment for the following Monday. Matt was great! We had a nice conversation prior to his starting the job, and he then answered all my questions as he worked. He didn't even wince about cleaning the carpet on the stairs, which I know is a pain to do. I will definitely use The Steam Team again.

Matt did a GREAT job, and he was on time, professional, and did a thoroughly good job of cleaning the carpets. I will request him the next time I have the carpets cleaned. (I have to have my carpets done regularly, because I have pets.) I recommend using The Steam Team and that you ask for Matt!
