Contacting The Steam Team and setting up an appointment was easy. The technician arrived right at the start of the time window they gave me, after a courtesy call. My experience with the technician himself was not as positive. When I talked to him about the possibility of adding more rooms (we had originally paid for 3) he sort of pussyfooted around the idea of not charging me more, but having me give him a tip. I honestly couldn't tell how much he was trying to save me money, and how much he was trying to earn himself some extra money under the table. We started upstairs, where I had moved all the furniture myself ahead of time except for one filing cabinet in the office. Carpet cleaners are supposed to move furniture for you, but I had to ask him to move the filing cabinet, and he was pretty dubious, asking how heavy it was, then he started and said it was probably going to tear the carpet, then I brought him the dolly from my garage and he moved it. As he made to begin, I asked him if he was going to vacuum first, since that's what the website said they're supposed to do. He mumbled something and I couldn't tell if he was saying that the vacuum was broken, or if it was a combo vacuum/steam cleaning machine. I had vacuumed a lot but not perfectly since I expected him to vacuum first (this was my first experience with carpet cleaning-- maybe it's always like this, but in that case, they shouldn't make it seem like they're going to vacuum first) and so there was some (clean) kitty litter pebbles on the floor. Well now my carpet is dirty with gray clumpiness in some areas because of the steam hitting the unvacuumed litter. Downstairs in my living room, I had moved an area rug and coffee table but the couch, love seat, end table and small desk (and an entertainment center that would have been way too hard to move) were still there. He didn't offer to move them, and I didn't ask since the carpet under those pieces was pretty clean anyway and I wasn't looking forward to him staying longer than he had to. There were a couple spots (including an old spot where a bucket of white paint tipped over) on my carpet I hoped he would spend an extra minute on, offer to spot treat for more money, or give me a tip on how to handle myself, but he didn't, and again I didn't ask because I was looking forward to him leaving. As for the steam cleaning itself, I can tell it did a lot of good, but I was expecting more from this experience and really felt like the technician was just hurrying through the motions (it was early in the day but he said I was his last appointment). Unless I got a really good deal, I probably wouldn't use this company again, unless I could be sure to use a different technician.

I liked the company a lot. They were very good. The workers were very professional. I would recommend them. They were professional, and they gave good follow-up. They were prompt and on time. They had to come back to fix some work.

They arrived exactly on time, cleaned my carpets, moved some of the furniture, and put them back on styrofoam blocks so that they wouldn't get wet. They did a really good job, and they were very efficient. I was very satisifed with the price and quality.

They promised to be at my house in a window from 1:00 PM to 4 PM. I expected it to be closer to 4 but they called at 12:30 and were at my house at 1:00 PM. Mario was profesional and conscientious The carpets and furniture were perfect.

The technician did a great job cleaning our upstairs carpets, stairs and dining room chairs. I've used various carpet cleaners in the past, but this was the first time that I felt and noticed a difference in how clean the carpets were.

They were really great. They came out within 2 days and the owner came out on a Saturday. He did an excellent job. He cleaned the carpet really, really well. We thought we were going to have to replace the carpet but he got it clean. He was amazing and affordable. We would absolutely use them in the future.

Our 19 year old son had moved out this past weekend and the carpet in his room was literally black and brown from spilled drinks and goodness knows what else. We were going to simply replace the carpet (only two year old house) but I thought we would at least TRY to clean it first, not thinking it would do any good. The tech got there on time, was very nice and professional but when he saw the carpet, he told my husband, while they have a guarantee, he didnt know if it would apply to this. LOL! My husband told him he understood and if he could just try, we werent expecting miracles. When he was done my husband was totally amazed. When I got home, I couldnt believe that was the same carpet. I wonder if the tech was as amazed as we were! I will use them again and would highly recommend them, especially if you think your carpet wont come clean and your thinking of replacing it.

The carpets looked like new when done. There were a couple of very small missed spots, but they were easily taken care of with the courtesy bottle of spot remover that they supplied. Very professional service.

I printed a coupon from Angie's List for $99 for three areas. I called and recieved great service from this company. The individual who set the appointment was professional and courteous; they called to reconfirm the appointment the day prior. The service professionals were on time, and did a very thorough job. Good experience!

I loved the tech that came. He was so nice and very professional. He showed up within the time frame that they promissed. It has been several weeks and the carpet still looks great! He did such a fantastic job. He also gave me some helpful suggestions for cleaning up spot and spills in the future. He also gave me a bottle of cleaner to use instead of the stuff that you get at the store. I felt that for all he did the price was really fair. I have used other companies in the past that you either feel that you really got ripped off or other companies that were good but really over priced. This is not the case with Steam Team! I will be using them again!

They were very good and did what they were suppose to. It turned out well and the stain came out.

It was one person and he cleaned downstairs, stairs and the hallways upstairs. On his hands ands knees he cleaned the grout where the tile is downstairs. We love this company. We had used other people through the years and were pretty dissatisfied. They had left our carpet wet and had pulled up the carpet. I had a coupon and tried The Steam Team. They are just wonderful and we wouldn't use anybody else.

They were very good. They came on time and did their job. They called to follow up on whether or not I was happy with the results. They were very hands on. They were not cheap or on the lower end in terms of the price but I did not mind as the job was done well. I have used them more than once. The first time that I had used them, they had sent some coupons around. So, I thought that I would use them again and see how it would go. I have already used them three times in the last two years.

Excellent job; they moved all the furniture and put it back when the job was finished.

All went well, and when I asked him to redo a spot he did it without complaint.

I was told that my job would be scheduled between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. and I would receive a call 30-minutes before the technician was to arrive. The technician called at 11 and was at my house within 30 minutes. He measured the square footage of my tile areas, which qualified me for a current special rate on the tile and grout cleaning. After he told me the estimate for the job, I signed a form giving my approval to proceed. He worked alone, quickly and efficiently, and was done by 1:30 p.m. I'm very happy with the results. My tile and grout are light beige and every speck and spill shows up. The grout looks like new. The tech moved the furniture in the carpeted areas and placed pieces of styrafoam under the wooden legs to prevent damage from the damp carpet. I will use them again in the future.

The technician, Mario, arrived on time and was very courteous and professional. He did a thorough job and finished in a timely manner. I was very happy with the way my carpets looked afterwards. I was also pleased that he left me a complimentary bottle of carpet spot remover. I will definitely use The Steam Team for carpet cleaning in the future.

They were prompt, did exactly what they said they were going to do, and were reasonably priced.

The Steam Team representative showed up on time and was extremely professional and polite. He did a very nice job on the work. I chose a "green" formula that did not have any scented perfume in it, which also did not treat any odors in the fabric. I would recommend a different formula of cleaner if you have a situation with odor.

They were punctual and took care of all the spots. They were in and out in about an hour. I would recommend them to others. There was one spot that they couldn't get out without an additional charge and product but they told me how to take care of it on my own. I would really rather have had them just knock it out since but for $75 extra that seems a little steep for a spot.
