The technician was prompt and professional. The carpet cleaning was very good. Stains and traffic patterns were gone. After he had cleaned the ceramic tile, I looked at it and there was no difference from before it was clean. I took a paper towel, rubbed it on the tile and dirt came up. Then I ran it along one of the grout lines and dust and dirt came up. He told me that the equipment that they use cannot get into the nooks and crannies of ceramic tile and cannot get access the grout lines near the wall. He said " I guess we need better equipment" If they cannot adequately do this service, they should not be advertising and charging for it. After seeing this review, I got a call from a gentleman who identified himself as the quality control person. He said that he wanted to schedule a time for a redo at no charge. He explained that the initial tech has not done a proper job. I was now back at work and told him that if we do that we have to set a specific time. He assured me that we could do that. The time/date was two weeks hence at 3 pm. The day before I get a call in which they tell me that it will be "sometime between 3-6 pm.". I mentioned that I was promised a specific time. The woman told me that could not be done. I then cancelled the redo.

Comments: Leo was our estimate contact. He came out to the site, explained the process - looked atall the rooms, answered all our questions. He was so knowledgeable and professional and didn't rushus at all. One reason we chose The Steam Team was they were able to describe the different types ofprocesses used to clean carpets, which allowed us to decide that the steam process would work bestfor our job. Todd came out on August 4th, on time - again, we went through all the rooms, pointingout areas that really needed spotting and traffic areas. We realized that there was a limit as to how muchcould be done, but when Todd was all finished, we could not believe our eyes - everything looked somuch cleaner, and smelled fresh. Today, a week later, there is a freshness when we walk into therooms. When the children return, they will be walking into classrooms that are clean - from top tobottom and wall to wall. We are pleased to recommend The Steam Team and are planning to havethem do our home carpets and Oriental rugs in the near future!

hey were on time, very courteous and a manager came but to make sure we were happy with the service. They did a fantastic job - jJust be prepared to be up-sold additional services.

Gave estimate up front. Called twice or three times to remind me of appointment and let me know that the cleaner would be there as scheduled, was on the way and would be here at appointed time. Ronnie arrived exactly on the dot of time specified. He did an excellent job of cleaning and Scotch Guarding carpet. Did not try to up-sell me on any product. In fact, did a little extra on a couch cushion-support panel that had become stained at no charge. Overall they were thoroughly professional, friendly, on-time and provided excellent quality service.

Having so many positive reviews on Angie's List, we decided to try The Steam Team for cleaning our carpets. Our carpets had not been cleaned in over eight years, so they were well overdue, especially the stairway and upstairs hallway. From the very first call, The Steam Team exuded friendliness and professionalism. Prior to the service call they made a confirmation call regarding our appointment and then a lead call to let us know when the cleaning technician was on the way from his previous appointment. The technician arrived at the beginning of the appointment window that had previously been quoted. As for the quality of work, we were very pleased with the thoroughness of Mr. Phillips' work. In addition to being professional in his behavior, he was not pushy whenever he offered optional work that could be done. He simply presented my wife with available options and his recommendations, but was in no way pushy if she declined. We were also pleased with how he worked around and under the heavier and larger pieces of furniture that could not be moved. End result - we were very impressed with the quality of The Steam Team's work. As noted above, we had not cleaned our carpet in over eight years so we were concerned that some of the soiled areas would not come clean. We were pleasantly surprised at how well the cleaning job turned out. Considering the age of our carpet and its lack of prior cleanings, we were most impressed with The Steam Team's job and price. We will definitely use The Steam Team as our 'go-to' carpet cleaning business for future work.

I called The Steam Team about 1 1/2 weeks prior to the desired service date. I was greeted professionally on the phone and this individual proceeded to schedule my appointment on the date and time requested. Three day later, I called to add two area rugs to the job which was no problem. She informed me the technician would provide an on-site quote for the area rugs and we could choose then whether we wanted them to be cleaned or not. On the day of the service, Ronnie showed up right on time. He professionally introduced himself and explained the services he would perform while I took him on a tour of the home so he could see the areas that needed cleaned. He promptly provided a quote for the two area rugs which we accepted. He backed his truck up to our garage so as not to block our car from leaving. He placed the corner protectors throughout the path of the hoses while he brought in his equipment. Then it was about 60 - 70 minutes of him working hard. I was working from home that day on a couple calls and the noise created from his cleaning activities were such that my calls were uninterrupted. When Ronnie was finished, he asked if I could inspect his work. Throughout all areas, he moved small items (excluding heavy furniture) and placed these items on blocks when finished. In fact, he was able to remove a stain from one bedroom that at least one carper clearner (different name) couldn't remove. Way to go!! He warned me of a possible slick last step on the stairway (hardwood) that could be dangerous with wet feet - this was much appreciated! He promptly put his equipment away and returned with the invoice - NO SURPRISES from the initial quote. Once he was paid, I asked if he could provide a quote for ceramic tile grout cleaning and sealing which he did.

This service went well and was great from start to finish.

They did a good job in having my carpet cleaned. It was an excellent experience to have them. Their price is really good too.

We were told that the cleaning would make our grout look like new. It didn't. They were very responsive when I contacted them and sent another technician at my convenience. Same result. They told me that they only other thing they could try was an acid wash, which I didn't want (partially because the technician thought there must be a seal on the grout, and I know there's not). I think this is generally a good company, but for someone with a lot of tile (like us), I would strongly suggest having them clean a small area to begin, so you don't end up spending a lot of money and being disappointed.

It went well. They arrived on time and cleaned the areas we had discussed. The price was exactly what we were told on the phone. They were professional and polite.

They did an excellent job. I ran my vacuum over an area a few days later, and it picked up nothing out of the carpet. 10 days out, it still looks like they just did it yesterday. Extremely pleased.

They are just fabulous. My kitchen tiles look like brand new. I highly recommend them.

I made the appointment online, which was very easy. I even needed to change the date due to a conflict, which was not a problem. Brian arrived on time and was very professional and friendly. He was alone, nobody to help him. This must have made moving furniture a bit more difficult. He said they don't move beds and he didn't even attempt to move one of my couches, as well as a couple of other pieces of furniture that I would have preferred be moved. He informed me that there was an extra "area" that I neglected to include when I made my appointment online. I agreed for him to go ahead and clean it. Upon completion of the job, at 11:30 a.m., we were told not to walk on the carpet for 12 hours. Really?!?!? Until almost midnight? Not gonna happen. That seemed a bit ridiculous to me. Then got the bill and it was over $500, which I just think is too expensive. I have a 2800 square foot house, and this just seemed way overpriced to me. I didn't argue or contest, I am just making the point that The Steam Team is too expensive and you can find a better deal out there on a carpet cleaning company.

Within one hour of submitting an online request for estimate appt., I received an email with several dates and times. I selected a 3 hour window for the next day. The office called in the first 10 minutes of the scheduled window and said the technician, Shon, would arrive within 30 min. Shon arrived on time and was very professional. I received a 50% discount on the second couch for a total of $180 for both couches. They look pretty close to new! Much better job than the last company I hired to clean the same couches.

The technician was punctual and professional. He discussed with me all of our problem areas and explained our options. Carpet was left very clean and the fibers looking refreshed, almost like new.

Shawn arrived on time 9-9:30, right at 9:25. He identified himself and asked what areas I would like taken care of. I showed him the areas of concern. He went right to work setting up his equipment. It then took him about an hour to finish. He then asked me to take a look and tell him how it looked to me. I did a walk through, it looked better then I expected. Did I mention I have a dog? Shawn removed his equipment, and handed me some literature. Then asked me to sign the invoice. He then thanked me for my business and left. This is what I expect from a service provider.

I really appreciate the technician, Brian Jones, for his professionalism and his prompt service. He was very thorough in the carpet cleaning and did the best job that has ever been done on my carpets. He listened and followed through with the concerns I had about the carpet. He did an amazing job. He took extra care to see that the spots I was concerned about were taken care off. I will definitely use the company again, and hope to have Brian Jones, be the technician that they send to me on my next appointment for carpet cleaning. Great Job!

I called the steam team after getting an estimate from them via e-mail. They scheduled me for an appointment the same day and gave me a 15% discount for getting it done that day. They cleaned 3 areas, were very professional, on-time, thorough and courteous. They moved furniture for us (except the huge things like beds and items with electronics on them which we left alone) and moved it back when they were done. One of the rooms they cleaned had a lot of little stains on it and now it looks like new again. Great service. I will most definitely use these guys again.

They are very punctual. They call before they come to let you know that they are on their way and I have used them three times. They always come when they say they are going to come and they do a great job. The carpet stays clean and I have used people in the past that have cleaned carpets and few weeks later it looks bad but after they clean the carpet definitely stays clean and they do a great job. I would definitely use them again and I have recommended them to friends. My sister uses them too and they are reasonably priced.

It was an emergency and they were the only ones I talked to. I found them on Angie's List. They could come out that day and that was what I needed, so that was what I liked about them. There were two people who came out. The service that they provided was fine. I would use them again in the future if it is an emergency.

Frank and Monty were great today, addressing our problems and fixing them. They were polite, informative, and worked their a**** off. As a result, our very, very old dirty carpet looks about 10 years younger. As a result of their hard, experienced work, I will highly recommend your company to anyone who will listen. The $25 dollar gift certificate dosen't even matter to me, altho I will use it. The fact of the matter is that through their hard work and experience, they gave our totally stained and dirty carpet a new life. They worked hard (someone please give them a raise!) because I am beyound satisfied. I have already recommended them and your company to 2 friends. Thanks for the great service.

The guy did a fantastic job and then he came back and did a little bit more. I had a pretty old stain that rose to surface that I didn't even know about and he worked on it again but didn't charge me any more. Everything is fine and I would give the company the highest ratings on everything.

I used today's Groupon to get two rooms cleaned for $49. While on the phone scheduling my appt it came to light that this deal only applies to rooms with wall-to-wall carpet, not area rugs. We only have one room with wall-to-wall carpet (and a few area rugs in others) so The Steam Team generously offered to clean and Scotch Guard the wall-to-wall carpet since we didn't have a second wall-to-wall carpet to clean. Also, they were able to come out today and had no problem accepting the Groupon even though it technically does not activate until tomorrow. Cool. Mario, their Senior Cleaning Specialist, arrived well within the quoted time frame. He was friendly, professional, and respectful. Within seconds I could tell that he knew his job well. I showed Mario my area rugs because I wanted a quote on how much it would cost to get a few spots out. Once Mario saw how small (and inexpensive) the rugs were, he said he would lump them into the Groupon and just charge me a nominal fee to Scotch Guard the wall-to-wall carpet. Even better. The entire process didn't take very long and the wall-to-wall carpet looks brand new. Mario took care to advise me on how long it would take for the carpet to dry. The cleaning solution is pleasantly scented but not overpoweringly so. Overall and excellent experience. Will I use them again? In a heartbeat! I've been looking for a competent carpet cleaning company and I'm happy to report that I've finally found one.
