It was excellent! The owner came and did the spec on the job and the technician came and did excellent work. They confirmed appointments and sent the bid via email which was really convenient and efficient for me.

Everything went as planned. They showed up when scheduled and had the work down in the amount of time promised. Highly recommend.

The owner of the company arrived at the exact time scheduled to do the cost estimate and was a very pleasant person to work with. The order was prepared in a short time and was very reasonable in the cost. The installer came within a week and had the replacement finished in much less time than I expected. He left the area very clean. He cleaned the new mirror and hung it for me. The total experience with this company was very positive.

Both Estimator and Installer were very professional to work with. The Installer was careful to clean up his mess, and explain correct care for the new window.

The estimate was done quickly and the rep discussed options with me which even included "do nothing" because the glass was still intact. I had the official estimate almost immediately and scheduled the replacement. It took about 10 days to get the call that the glass was ready to be installed. the glass has a curved top so I expected it to take a while. The only negative of the experience was when they called to schedule installation, the scheduler gave me less than 24 hours notice. Since I couldn't accommodate their schedule, she said she would call me back. that took a couple days. Other than that, when the installation crew arrived, they worked quickly, answered all my questions, cleaned up any mess they made and left the window spotless. I would use them again.

My first call for an estimate was to Binswanger. They were prompt and gave me an estimate several days after the estimator came out. I noticed on your site they had good ratings for everything except price. As I looked though your other choices the Glass Guru stood out. I got and estimate and it was SIGNIFICANTLY lower. They all get the glass from the same distributors so I gave the job to the Guru. They completed the job quickly and all the folks I dealt with were super. Michael did the estimate and Justin did the installation. I would use them again for sure.

Glass Guru was very easy to work with, professional, friendly and on time! They came out and measured the windows I wanted done, took measurements, provided suggestions and then gave me a detailed estimate. I wanted glass replaced in 21 windows that face the sun and 1 door using low-E glass. I wanted windows without mullions to open up the view of the greenbelt behind the house. They came out on when they said they would, and the crew was very professional, friendly and cheerful. It was a pleasure having them in the house. The job was a little more difficult that normal due to slanted ground, but they handled it with aplomb. We are very happy with the work they did, and the results are quite appealing. Plus, the cost of replacing the glass is thousands less that replacing the whole window!

I called on Tuesday, 08/27/13 for an appointment and one was set for the very next day. The estimator (MK) arrived promptly, was very professional and courteous and within 30 minutes gave me a breakdown of what was to happen and the cost of the job. After my approval, he immediately ordered the part to complete the job and sent me a copy of the quote I signed. When the window arrived on Tuesday, 09/03/13, I was called to set up an installation appointment for the next day. I also received a reminder e-mail regarding the appointment time and date. That was extremely useful for me. Mr. Ellard arrived on-time and was also very professional and courteous. He completed the job within 45 minutes and I paid exactly what was quoted. I will definitely use them again and refer them to neighbors and friends.

They were very professional, they came on time, they had to come out to remeasure, because we had more windows that developed fog. Mike did not leave a mess, the windows came in on time, and they installed them when they said they would. They had planned the whole day to install them, but it took less time.

Cheaper than anybody else I have looked at. They are prompt and courteous. The guy did not clean up his mess very good. He left a little mess.

I had a mirror that had been cracked when it slipped off the glued area on the wall. Fortunately the mirror did not shatter, but it did crack on one end and I wanted it to be recut and re-installed. I called the Glass Guru four times before I got a person. No one ever returned my phone messages. The person I talked with was completely unprofessional. She had a thick accent and was almost completely inarticulate. She gave me the same information that other companies gave me, but she seemed completely uninterested in my project. Frankly, from this front office contact, I could not be sure that the company was trustworthy. They could be a wonderful company, but the first contact was so bad, I don't want to find out any more about them.

Our job was handled professionally and efficiently from beginning to end. Michael, the proprietor, always arrived when scheduled and gave me a detailed bid, description of the job's scope, and kept me informed throughout the process. The installer was also punctual and professional and did a great job. I am very pleased and will call on Glass Guru again when needed and certainly pass their name on to family and friends.

It took a while for me to get a bid because of technical difficulties, but they really tried to resolve the problem. I am now reviewing the bid which seems reasonably priced.

Very professional. Worked the project into their schedule and they arrived on-time and completed the job efficiently. Overall a great job on the window glazing replacement. A great combination of value, quality and professionalism. I would definitely use The Glass Guru again for window glazing replacement.

Michael came to look at the work to be done to give an estimate. He was very courteous and came, measured the windows and had me sign the estimate and emailed it to me. I received a call from Vanessa to set up the appointment to have the windows replaced. Two men came on the appointed day. They were friendly and courteous. They attempted to change both windows. One of the windows cracked so he said they would come back and fix it. I had just listed my house to sell. I received a call a week or so later to set up a time to repair the broken window, there was no extra charge. They replaced the window and left. Again, my house was just put on the market that week to sell. We had just finished painting the entire interior of the house. Around both windows that had been replaced, on the wall, were BLACK handprints and finger prints and the small upper window they had replaced is recessed and the drywall ledge was all chipped and damaged. Contractors should clean up after themselves and report if something was damaged and offer to repair it. Instead, I discovered the damaged ledge while cleaning the black off the walls all around the window....very disappointing.

Very quick response. Michael is very knowledgable and professional. 2 new bathroom windows at a condo we are remodeling. Price was $250 below another estimate frm a co. on Angie's list (requested an estimate when this co. came to the condo for another job-also did not choose them for the other job as charge was too high!). Glass Guru had the mirrors ready within a week and installed. Michael came with the crew--and all were very professional--new mirrors look great!

Never called back with estimate. I called to request response and got none. Another company performed service with no problem.

I hired Glass Guru after they showed up on time for a free quote and with a professional attitude. They measured twice and set the expectation that it will be 10 days to get a replacement. The other company I called for a quote at the same time (they charge $45 just to estimate) had not even called back (almost 2 days later) to schedule a estimate when Glass Guru gave me the quote. They called 5 days later and replaced it on the next. They showed up 45 minutes early and were done in 30 minutes. Very good experience - will use them again

We had one cracked window pane that needed to be replaced as well as pane replacement in three rooms with windows that went bad due to condensation leaks. Two of the windows that needed replacement were on the second floor. The technicians were prompt and very professional. They had all the windows installed in no time! Michael Kugler, the owner, is well versed in windows and provided us with helpful information about our windows. We felt their prices were fair and we will definitely call them again should we have any other window issues.

The Glass Guru of Austin were very honest. They weren't sure they could install the shower. He worked on ways to come down in price. They did a great job.

Friendly guy came out to do bid. Promised written bid via e-mail in 2 days, I didn't get one they prmoised one week. I had to call to get written bid and schedule appt. Installers were early to appt. did a great job and were friendly.

I called, made an appointment and met with the person who measured the windows in order to give me a bid. He told me he'd get the bid to me that afternoon or the following day. I didn't hear back from them until Thursday or Friday of the following week. By then I had gone with another contractor. Their bid, however, was much lower than the company I went with - so wish they had gotten it to me on time. I will give them another chance because their pricing was so much less.
