Description of Work: I contacted Luis for assistance with a stubborn problem on an older computer that belongs to my elderly father. I decided to try his service after an unsuccessful and disappointing interaction with another computer repair group in Austin. I left a message initiially, and Luis called me back quickly to assess my problem. He even offered to come pick up the computer and take it in for evaluation. The issue turned out to be a virus and Luis worked with me via email through the weekend to get the additional information he needed to access the source of the problem. We agreed on a price and he stuck by it even though it involved more time than he had initially determined. Once repaired, he brought the computer back to my Dad's home, hooked it up and made sure it was working before he left. He even came back again the same day when I encountered an issue on Dad's computer that I was unsure how to resolve and helped me fix a glitch in the printer as well. I cannot say enough good things about his courtesy, professionalism and responsiveness. I intend to use his service again for my own home computer, and would recommend him to others without hesitation.

Description of Work: Our desk top computer was crashing. Zach from Critical Update checked the various possibilities but it turned out the mother board was failing.. We bought a new computer through Critical Update and Zach completely transferred all the important info to the new computer. He made certain it interacted with our laptop and printer and that we had all our questions answered. He was a pleasure and we will definitely request him in the future. He was prompt, knowledgeable, and professional. Personable as well! We had used this company before and were very pleased with their service. This second interaction with the company was equally satisfying and we have already recommended the company and our technician to friends. Only wish there were more companies as reputable and dependable as Critical Update.
