Rudy's Painting & Drywall

They first did the job last year and had done it extremely well. They have now redone it by completely sealing it. It now looks better than it did when it was new. Their price was reasonable and the work was great. They did what they said they would when they said they would. We also had a stain sealer put on our 400 sq. ft. deck. It looks really great.

FAST. The drywall was purchased and delivered one afternoon. The work began the next morning with a crew of 8. the room was completely sheet rocked and tape and bedded the 1st time in one day.

Rudy and his men arrived on time and wasted no time getting to work. They cleaned the deck completely and while it was drying, the worked in the bathroom. Then they hand painted every bit of the deck with a good colored sealer. On day two they finished the bathroom with the first coat and returned the next day to put the finish coat on. The whole operation was done very professionally with no hiccups. I love the way he works and will hire him again and again and again.

Couldn't have gone any smoother or quicker. I called and Rudy was out the same day to give an estimate. The drywall repair was done one day and painted the next, right on schedule. They matched the paint perfectly. The work was very professional, workers on time and very courteous, and you couldn't ask for better worksite clean up.

I am very satisfied with the work performed by Rudy and his workers. Cleanup was good, also.

They textured the wall and everything, it's identical and you can not tell it's been patched. They were very responsive and were quick. They are fabulous. I have even hired them to do more painting in the outdoors.

Coordinating a roofer and painter to do work at the same time is not easy. Rudy was very prompt, gave an estimate within 24 hours of the initial visit. He waited patiently as I tried to secure a date for the roofing company to start the work. Rudy even secured paint when I thought I got the right color (I didn't). Work was done within a day and Rudy did a fantastic job.

I found Rudy on Angie's List. Called them and sent him a photo of the damage via email. Took a bit to get a reply etc (I assume he checks the email once a day). He gave me an estimate which I was ok with, (It was $250 for a 3x3 section of wall. I didn't check around) and then they came over the next day. Showed up about 30 min late, but that wasn't a problem for me. The worker did an excellent job, seemed to know exactly what he was doing, took the time needed, but nothing more.

Rudy was punctual and extremely professional. He spent about a half hour doing an estimate. I was very pleased with how the work turned out. He's someone you can trust to do a good job.

We chose to let our child draw on his bedroom walls with crayons. We loved it, but were ready to paint over it. Rudy's crew came in and did an excellent job of painting the room in no time flat. We were very impressed with both the work performed as well as the clean up. I did, however, find old paint in the front yard. I am not sure how to get around that, but with two children under age five I would prefer to not have old paint left in the yard.

Rudy returned my initial call promptly (on the same day that I had called). He then came by to give me an estimate when I requested, which was a Saturday. He was on time. We arranged to have the work done the following Tuesday. He was on time for this as well. He was in and out in a reasonable amount of time and kept the work area clean, etc. He even did a few very minor things that I noticed without adding any extra charge. (Minor is the operative word - I wouldn't expect this normally...)

It went very well. He was very friendly and accommodating to my schedule and was very competitive with his prices. The work that he did was very good for me.

It was good. A few disappointments. There were things that could have been done better. He's not a lot cheaper than everyone else but he's about the same. They used a sink to wash out their paintbrushes that I had told them not to use even before they started working. There are a few things they can improve on. They were professional and business like. He doesn't move furniture.

Rudy did a good job. Very reasonably priced. I would use this company again.

Great - Rudy was great to work with and even took personal time to help sort out a very confusing paint issue (3 floor house with each floor painted a different white in 3 types). He went with me to two paint stores to sort out which paint was which from the store's computer. Painting went really well inside and he had no problem telling the painters just to repaint the whole wall with one coat instead of touching up. Price stayed the same.

They were punctual and professional. They did all the work we asked, redoing little things here and there with a good attitude. Rudy hires a crew, most of whom speak limited English, but they made good effort to figure out what we wanted. Rudy checked on the work several times during the day and helped some with the bathroom. Rudy did a final walk through at the end and had his crew make a couple of adjustments to areas that he felt needed touch-ups. They worked from 10am-7pm and we are happy with the paint job.

Day one was spent removing the wallpaper, texturing the walls and priming them. Day two was painting both bathrooms and trim. Rudy came by himself on day three to do a little touch up and cleanup.

I have to give Rudy an "F." The two most important things a contractor must do to satisfy a customer are be responsive and punctual; only then does quality of work come into play. I called Rudy after reviewing his Angie's reports and made an appointment for him to bid painting the interior of my home. After waiting for two hours after the appointed time I called him, to hear him say "Oh, I almost forgot about the appointment." Almost? He did come straight over, and spent a considerable time with me, making notes and answering my detailed questions. At the end of the interview he said he'd get a bid to me in the next two or three days. I never heard from him again. I should say this was not a small, "not worth the trouble" job; the painter I eventually hired took ten days to complete the work.

We never thought that the deck would look new again, but Rudy made it look like it was brand new. Gone was the dirt, mold and discoloration. He stained and treated it so that it looks wonderful. Our siding actually glows it is soo clean. He and his crew were exceptionally courteous, professional and kept all areas clean. They even put tarps down so that over spray, etc would not harm anything. It was a real pleasure having these people do this work for us.

I just bought my first house and was very nervous about the painting job I needed to get done after the many horror stories I have heard about finding painters. I found Rudy's and I called them to invite them to provide a bid for the job and they came over immediately (not hours or days later, or complain about how far the job was from their headquarters like others I invited to provide a quote). Rudy walked into my home and I went over all the changes I wanted to make and he looked at the walls in detail and went over everything with me; even made some helpful suggestions which I hadn't thought of. He actually seemed to CARE about the job as opposed to others who bid on the job who came in and took all of 10 minutes looking around saying, "We can probably fit this in between other projects." However, Rudy made my project feel like a priority, not an afterthought. I decided to buy the paint and simply let them work their magic. I left a key for the crew to let themselves in and when I got off work later that day, I called to check in to see how the job went for that day (since we talked about it being a couple days to complete) and Rudy told me they were done. I was shocked! Started and completed all in one day! I went over to the house and was blown away. My house finally felt like home, it looked amazing! There is one strange curved wall in my house where there is no separation between the wall and the ceiling and the previous owner couldn't figure out how to make that work. I talked it over with Rudy and his crew did exactly as I asked based on his suggestions. This wall came out better than I could have imagined. The crew left the house exactly as they found it, not a paint drop anywhere to be found (in a mostly tile house). All of the light switch covers were put back properly. They even cleaned up the trim, which I didn't request, at no additional charge. I'm now regularly giving tours of the house to those that saw the color before and now after Rudy's visit. I get nothing but compliments and praise on what a quality job the painters did. I would recommend these guys 10x over, as a first time home buyer and very little house knowledge I felt Rudy was great to work with. I just hope all of my home improvements continue to go this smoothly.

We got three bids, all from painters highly rated on Angie's List. The bids from all three were very close, with only $400 difference between the highest and lowest.. We chose Rudy's company because of the time taken to study surfaces to select the appropriate paint, and to fully understand the scope of the project. He and the job supervisor asked questions, and offered options and advice. They were willing to work with more than one vendor to get the exact paints we wanted. The supervisor was professional, as were the painters. They (3 or 4 men) were punctual and polite. The drywall repairs were so carefully done, that the are totally indistinguishable from the areas around them. Rudy came by each day to check on their progress and our satisfaction. They worked 8 1/2 days to complete the job. Only taking off on Sunday.
