They did a really good job. The actual windows are very nice and work well.

It was one of the coldest days of winter, but the crew worked as a well-trained team and got the job done quickly with true professionalism. We are very impressed with the quality of their work and integrity of team members. Second crew came in to refinish old window frames and to stain/finish the new oak trim. Perfect match. Again as with first crew, all were efficient, professional and did an excellent job. Product is pricey, but we expect to recoup some of cost in energy savings. The new windows improve the house's appearance on outside as well as inside. We love showing them off to guests and highly recommend this company and product.

The salesman showed up on time and took measurements immediately. I have been doing a lot of research on windows and knew basically what I wanted. The salesman proceeded to walk me through a very long slide show presentation on all of their windows, wasting time and giving me information on types of windows I had already told him I did not want. I felt their product was solid and aesthetically pleasing, but expensive compared to other companies I have received quotes from. He knew all the marketing materials, but had to go look up the U-Factor, SHGC, and distance between glass panes in a book in the car. My biggest complaint is that the salesman told me I would have to replace one of my windows in the master bedroom with a door or larger window. This bedroom has only two old school privacy windows (2' tall x 5' wide, 57" off floor). He told me that they would have to pull a permit to replace the windows, and this bedroom would not pass the permit inspection because of newer code laws about safety escape routes in bedrooms. The code requires that a window be no more than 44" off the floor. He quoted french doors for that room totaling almost $5000. After working up the window quote, he offered me the "sign today" discount and was very disappointed that I said I was not done getting quotes and not ready to make my decision. He responded with: "So, it's the price that is the bottom line for you. You are not concerned about value." -- A little pushy for my taste. After he left, I called the City and found that replacing existing windows with no size changes does not, in fact, require a permit. We are not required to enlarge this window to meet current code. It may be a good idea, and I will look into it further, but the salesman listed it as a requirement and would not agree to replace the windows in that room unless we enlarged one. I see it as an effort to up-sell us to a much more expensive project, including re-framing, moving electrical, and masonry work. It was a flat out lie that a permit is required to replace my windows. Since I caught this lie, I'm concerned about how many more he told about the product and services that I didn't catch!

It was fine. They were very good the whole way. They installed it correctly and did the right details.

It was fantastic the way they handled themselves and did what they said they were going to do and when they said they would do it. The only thing that rubbed me the wrong way was that they tried to get me to use their financing. I told them four or five times that I wasn't going to finance it. I told them I was going to write them a check. They didn't seem to know what write a check was. The financing rate was 29.9% interest. They expected me to finance those windows at that rate which I didn't. They have a very quality product, but I don't know that if you shopped around you couldn't get competitive windows at half of the price.

It was satisfactory. There were no problems. They did a good job. The qualities of the windows are very good. They are not cheap but very good quality. They did a reasonably good job of following up. They had to do some repair on the trim. They brought everything back to where it was before the windows were installed which was very good.

It was fine. I have no complaints. They did everything they said they were going to do and on time. I am real happy with the quality of the windows.

Overall it was positive. The result is excellent. There were a couple of issues. We had some more extensive work done in the year and the windows were not plum. Someone from Anderson had to come back to fix it, which they did, before the contractor would start. The security lock on the back sliding door has broken a couple of times. We had it fixed once. I have not called again to get it fixed. One of the installers would show up in flip flops.

It turned out very well. They did good. We switched to Champion for the reminded. Their price was too high.

There was no problem. It is fine. They worked efficiently, quickly and did the job well despite working quickly. They were clearly experienced and knew what they were doing. The price is fair for the quality you get.

It is fine. It is expensive but I think it is the best, which is why I got it. It is also why I couldn't do the rest of my house. I have 25 windows in total so we just did the front. They have a very good product, the people who put it in worked very very hard. I’m sure that it would be easier to do it in new construction. They did a real good job.

They did a good job. The quality of the windows is great. We had one issue in a bathroom. It has to be glass of a certain type in the bathroom. When we did some remodeling we discovered that they had not put in that quality of glass. It was a little bit of teeth pulling but eventually they did make that right.

My wife and I could not possibly be happier with the windows and installation. The installation crew was very professional and did a great job (3 days for 19 windows, including some rework of wood exterior trim). The quality of the Fibrex windows themselves is excellent (much better than the vinyl and fibreglass alternatives we considered); the additional price for Renwal By Anderson windows is worth every penny, in our opinion. All operations (open/close, pop-out for cleaning, etc) are very smooth, and the windows have a quality, stong feel to them. .... HERE IS THE CATCH: The sales tactics used by the Renewal By Anderson salesperson were very unprofessional. He comes to your home, shows you your options, measures the windows to be replaced, and gives you a quote on the spot. However, he then proceeds to demand that you sign immediately. It is an extremely high pressure sale! He claims that certain significant discounts can only be offered if you sign immediately, and it is firm company policy to not make exceptions, even if you want to think it over for a day or two. (He did not clarify if this policy is Renewal By Anderson nationally or the local fanchisee.) When we said we'd almost certainly go with Renewal By Anderson but want to think about it at least overnight, he continued to lower the price more and offered additional upgrades (better screens, etc) -- but ONLY if we signed immediately! It went on SO long and was SO unprofessional, my wife and I almost threw him out of our home. Our first clue should have been when I called to setup the appointment and they DEMANDED that ALL homeowners be present (they NEED all homeowners to be present because they intend to pressure you to sign on the spot). Ultimately, we signed because we had already researched all of our other options (with other manufacturers) and determined that Renewal By Anderson was the best option in terms of quality (which was our main concern). Ironically, we probably would have paid thousands of dollars more if the salesman would have just left and given us a day or two to think about it. Their loss. (Note: Because new windows are considered a "remodel" and the contractor can put a security lien on your home, you have 3 business days to back out of the contract. Knowing that gave us some relief about signing immediately.)
