Radiant Plumbing & Air Conditioning

I purchased a big deal for a maintenance visit, and they did a great job. Got my HVAC ready for winter, and gave me some recommendations on things I can do in the future to improve performance. Minor scheduling snafus at the beginning, but I will use them again anyway.

The guy that came out was real nice and did an excellent job. Having just spent $$$ remodeling last year I was afraid of damage to cabinets and floors. He used extreme caution and all went well. I will say again though the TOILET is ALREADY RUNNING!!!! They are coming out tomorrow to fix. If it stays fixed I will let you know. As I love the function of that toilet and the wife and I want another one. Well after rescheduling 2 times to have them fix the leak, they showed up. It has been a week and it is STILL LEAKING, just slower than before. I have them scheduled for tomorrow to REPAIR IT AGAINlets see what happens. 3rd time is a charm. Marcell came out and fixed the toilet and since then NO PROBLEMS!! MARCELL is the one to fix it. 12/04/12 08/02/13 After the last appointment and having had no problems I decided to use them again. I replaced our other toilet with same model as before. Marcell is absolutely the best when it comes to customer care and efficiency. I even received a discount. Thank you Marcell.

they showed up. replaced water faucet in front of house. It took ten minutes. looks great and the new knob is a quarter turn knob easty to turn water on and off.

Be sure to ask for an itemized invoice before the work is done.

They make their money off the service call, $39.95 to come out, but it ended up costing us $155.00. What we got, is nothing. Toilet was still in the same shape as it was before I called them. I did not trust the guy they sent out, very strange man who had a nervous laugh, and would not look me in the eyes. He put dye in the tank, flushed and called it a diagnostic test. He then proceed to tell me how bad TOTO toilets were, (One of the best in the industry) and then tried to sell me on completely redoing the inside. A friend of mine went to Home Depot, and we bought a kit for $29.95 and replaced the valve bar, toilet has worked fine ever since. These guys are shady.

It took some time to have the service scheduled; rescheduling by both parties. However, that could be avoided if company provided a more defined time for service instead of requiring customer to stay home all day. Just limiting schedule to morning or afternoon would have been helpful. Upon arrival for installation, the provider told me that I did not have a water cutoff available and would be required to install one. The cost of this was $468, an unexpected cost. Since I've had previous plumbing work done at my home without a problem, this new requirement confused me. I was not at all happy about such an unexpected expense, but I do understand that my cutoff valve was not properly available and that now I do have the proper access. I do find it strange that all of the other companies that have done work at my home had no problem (likely turning off the water at the city location). Furthermore, shouldn't this have been revealed in my home inspection during purchase of the house!!! Obviously, this was not a good experience for me -- but it may just reveal that Radiant Plumbing works by the rules! The new faucet does not look very substantial -- but it has been working fine and does not leak as my old one did. I did mark above that I would not use the provider again -- that is primarily due to their onerous scheduling requirement to be available all day. The quality of their work was good.

The first appointment did not happen due to a miscommunication - the second appointment was made and the service man was polite and neatly dressed in a uniform. He replaced the hose bib and hooked up the pipe which had been capped off due to a leak. The cost was more than the $79 due to the extra services performed.

The plumber arrived on the day I scheduled, at the correct time. Bryan was a personable, professional man and he quickly set to work. The new faucet looks so much better than the old broken, rusty one. I am very pleased with everything about this "Angie's Deal." Byran gave estimates for other work and I will strongly consider Radiant Plumbing for future work.

We purchased the Angies List deal to have our outdoor faucet replaced for $79. I called and scheduled the appointment which was to be for the next day. The next day they called late in the day and could not make it to our house that day. They rescheduled for the next Tuesday. On Tuesday the gentleman came to the house and called to tell me they would need access inside the house (even though we had been told no one would need to be home). They rescheduled for that afternoon. Later that afternoon they called and said they were on another job and could not make it to our house. We rescheduled for Thursday at 5. On Thursday we waited and they never showed up and they did not call. At that point we requested a refund. They were good about refunding our money.

Bryan came and inspected whole house . All the faucets all the emergency stops,hose bibs. Everything. He was thorough. He explained through out what everything should be like. If things were good, he was very clear they didn't need to be replaced. He gave me a detailed report along with costs for repairs. It is really a great service.

I ordered an Angie's List coupon for the unclogging and video inspection of a drain line for $99. Tim, the technician from Radiant, was very friendly and good at explaining to me what he was doing and why. Unfortunately the drain auger he was using could not unclog the drain, which was confirmed by the video inspection. He said he would have to use a bigger auger, which was not included in the coupon. I was a little upset by this since I paid for the unclogging of a drain. I didn't think there would be stipulations as to what size auger was included or necessary. After agreeing to pay the extra cost, Tim was able to unclog the drain with the bigger auger and fortunately did not find any other problems in the drain line with the video camera. Overall, I was happy with Radiant. They got the job done. I just wish they were a little clearer in spelling out what was included in the Angie's List coupon. Not that the cost of the job was excessive, but it did cost three times as much as I thought it would in the end. I don't think I saved any money by purchasing the coupon relative to just calling a plumber to come out to fix the problem.

I made an appointment with ease, but they do not give you any time window. They just said they would call 30-45 minutes before they were to be at our house. I had to ask they come after noon so I could not loose a whole day of work for this minor repair and they said that would be fine. So I waited, and waited, and waited until 4:30. I figured they did not work much past 5pm so I decided to call them. They said they would not be coming to my house today because their service member got stuck on another job. I was highly disappointed, not just because I took a half day off work, but because they probably would not have called me! I was very clear on the phone that I was angry about not receiving a phone call to notify me of this, but all she could do was rebook me and say that she was sorry. If I had not already paid for the service I would have just cancelled. The serviceman who came out for the reschedule was very nice and professional. He did the work and it seems like quality work (not that it was difficult fix), but only time will tell. Unfortunately the lack of organization and thought gave me a bad experience with this company. They could be fine, but they ruined it for me and did not offer to fix it in any real way.

They responded well, but then the price!! $500 to replace 2 parts that cost under $20 each. I need it done so I was over a barrell. It only took 1 hr to complete the work, so I paid $400 an hour for labour.

Everything about the company's response, courtesy and professionalism was great. The first time we used them it was on a weekend and they couldn't have been nicer. We had to use them twice in one week. The second time we used them, the problem was caused by the damage from the first problem. and it was not the fault of the plumber. We did think their pricing was very high. That being said, they were familiar with the equipment we have (whole house R.O.) and we would use them again.

Everything went well. They were quick and efficient.

I am James Lee, a church manager. I called three companies for the estimation. Two companies didn't call me back. However, Radiant called me back and before sending technicians, one of Radiant staff made an appointment. The technician arrived at the church very punctually. They treat me very kindly. At the beginning, I asked Radiant not to charge for the estimation/initial visit. The technician fixed the minor problem, and Radiant waived the minimun fee. Definitely I would like to use this company, and I highly recommend this company.

They had to reschedule the first appointment because of several emergencies they had to take care of. They called early in the alloted time frame to advise me of the need to reschedule. The appointment was rescheduled for August 23, 2012. Their employee showed up promptly, was friendly and professional. The faucet was replaced in record time, at a very reasonable price. I took advantage of a special price through Angie's list. I definitely will call Radiant for any future plumbing work needed.

He did a look see of all the issues and found my water heater was not up to code anymore. They were very prompt and thorough. They are great so far.

Overall, pretty decent experience - a plus was that they sent a person very quickly.

I was pleased with their service. I liked their knowledge of the issue we had. We had several other plumbers come out before and nobody could fix it. They come out and nailed the problem and fixed it immediately and well. They know their stuff. I would absolutely use them again.

Expect to have to set an appointment to get any relevant information from these guys.

Joey was great. He took the time to explain everything and even took pictures so I did not have to climb into the attic.

They did a great job. Everything got done. The guy who came out was very nice and did everything he was asked to do. He found the problems right away and fixed everything to my satisfaction...and didn't leave any messes or something unfinished. I will definitely use Radiant again for my plumbing needs and will probably think about giving them a try for all the other stuff they do; like my AC.

They were very prompt, even though they were busy with the Big Deal discount they had recently offered. They were very thorough and knowledgeable. They were very quick and efficient. Their pricing was extremely reasonable and they offered competitive discounts.
