Description of Work: I hired Steve to fix a fence at my rental property. Since I do not live in the city, I only spoke to him over the phone. He was very polite, honest, and professional. I have not seen the repairs, but my tenants told me the fence looks great.

Description of Work: I had them install wood floor transitions; install a new RO water dispenser faucet; install a new pop-up in bathroom sink; patch and texture the wall around the water softener in the garage.

Description of Work: In this particular case, Steve's "team" helped me organize and clean out my garage, taking away everything that we could no longer keep to deliver for a good cause wherever possible such as Habitat for Humanity and/or people who could make good use of what we could not maintain now that we are empty nesters and moving to a smaller place. What impressed me above all was that the people working for the owner, Steve, and in particular the one young man who did much of the work was extremely helpful, polite, cheerful and enthusiastic about the job he was doing, careful with things, and he went above and beyond to clean up everything beautifully before leaving which was not even required but very appreciated. While on this occasion, we did not yet use the company for carpentry, etc., based on their attitude, professionalism, care and responsiveness, I plan to use them for any such needs we have going forward as I trust any such work will be done with the same quality. Description of Work: Installed one fan, including assembly. Fixed a second fan that had been previously installed incorrectly by another person. Moved a third fan from one location to another. Replaced light bulbs in a very high ceiling.

Description of Work: Steve and his assistant performed an assortment of minor repairs around a property that was newly purchased. I am a real estate agent and along with my broker we "gifted" the new home owners with this service. They were THRILLED. The services included plugging weep holes with steel wool, resetting a toilet, adjusting the hardware on a kitchen drawer so it would open/close smoothly,caulking exposed nail heads on the roof, tightening loose handles/faucet on tub and more.

Description of Work: Steve took care of several areas that a general contractor left unfinished in a house that I was rehabbing. He even did a few extra repairs for me that he found and really was a lifesaver for me on getting the house to a finished state in order to put it on the market. He installed and painted three interior doors, one exterior (to the garage) door, and planed a bathroom door so that it would close. He also repaired a huge "bubble" that had come up in the laminate flooring. He made sure the newly installed dishwasher was plumb, and up to code. He replaced some crumbling sheet rock under the sink area in the kitchen. He installed door strike plates and some door jambs that were missing or in bad shape. He installed a drain pan for the water heater, and made sure it was up to code. He installed a dryer vent exhaust ring. He also replaced a missing piece of ceramic tile in the guest bath, and installed a threshold for the garage entry door.

Description of Work: Steve Lee refinished our front door and replaced wood in the back door frame that was damaged from exposure to sun and rain. The front door involved sanding the entire door which meant he had to buy a new piece for one of his tools to do the job well. He then matched the varnish on the inside of the door and recommended a better finish called "spar" that would last longer than the polyurethane that we replaced every year. He is very exacting and was careful about not letting the door stick to the weather stripping. The repacement of the pieces of frame on the back door were completed equally well. He cut the necessary pieces out of the door frame and replaced them with new pieces of frame that matched the design of the old frame. Supplies cost $75.00.

Description of Work: This company built packing crates for a few very expensive items so that those expensive items would not get damaged in transit.

I'd highly recommend him and have already thought of more handy work around the house. He can expect a call from this very satisfied customer again real soon. I'd rate it as an A+ experience!

Description of Work: I was very impressed with Steve. He showed up right on time and did an awesome job. He fixed my fence, caulked a shower, painted some trim, installed a kitchen faucet, and put together some garage shelving units. He and his son did quality work.

Description of Work: Steve has done quite a bit of work for me over the last couple of years. Most recently he has painted a difficult exterior 3rd floor wall, scrapped and painted a tree house and fixed a long standing leak in my pool's filtration system. His cost is reasonable. He does the work expeditiously and the finished product has always met my expectations. I can recommend him without reservation.

Description of Work: Steve did three repairs on our house for the one price. 1, replaced the wood trim on our chimney on top of our roof where the wood was starting to rot, including carpentry, painting and weather sealing.2, repaired a sofit facing including carpentry and painting the new wood3. sanded and painted some wood areas on the roof gable that were too high for me to reach.

Description of Work: We have used Steve Lee, who is Quality Handyman Services, as our handyman for some time, now. His latest job was to remove the old built-ins in our study to prepare the room for new ones. He and his helper did a nice, careful job, doing the removal and good clean-up. Then he painted the whole room. We are extremely satisfied with his work on this job. Previously, Steve saved us the cost of having a repairman fix our clothes dryer by determining that our problem of slow drying was caused by an overly long exhaust hose. He trimmed the hose to fit the location and cleaned the remaining lint out of the system. The dryer now performs as if it were new! Steve has also fixed a number of our problems with doors resulting from our foundation settling as a result of the extended drought. He had to reset hinges and lock mechanisms as well as replace a door jam. All this has been done professionally, with courtesy, in a timely manor and at an appropriate cost.

Description of Work: Steve rebuilt my pump house, contracted electrical, including new walls and rafters, siding and roof and also a new custom built door. Steve is honest and really does an excellent job. He also painted the outside and added a plug for easy access. The pump house looks great now and should stand for another twenty years.

Description of Work: I had Steve do several handyman projects around my house. He did very good on all of them except the last one. On the last one, i had Steve replace the trim around my two bathroom windows. The windows have an arch at the top. I asked Steve if he could do this and he said he had the skills. When Steve finished the work, the archs were not correct and were not the same width as the side trim, so Steve just cut notches at the top of the side trim. This looks horrible. In addition, Steve did not complete the bottoms of the windows. There is a big gap at the bottom of both windows. i asked Steve to come back and redo the top arches and fix the bottoms and he kept promising he would come and fix this and even gave dates. He never showed up. i made the mistake of paying Steve ahead of time since he did so well on the other projects. It has now been 7 months of broken promices. i'm giving up on Steve and will have to have someone else come fix Steve's mess.
